I am using a Mac Sonoma but the feature to drag the icon sitting in the center of the title bar of a window it's gone. The icon still shows and I can still click on the icon button.
I can't drag it to drop the file out to a different location or an email.
The display title in the settings and tried to line people suggested by it still doesn't work. Does anyone know how to reactivate this feature?
Additionally doesn't even show the icon in the title bar at all.
Any solutions ? Thank you!

**Before**
macOS Ventura. I'm using Preview as standard application to open pdf files, and have Adobe Reader installed for occasional use.
**Problem**
For the past week, whenever I double-click on a pdf file, it is opened in Adobe Reader. All pdf icons in Finder have changed from a Preview icon to an Adobe Reader icon.
* I have tried several times to right-click on a pdf file and state that Preview should be used as standard application. However, the next time I double-click on a pdf file, it's opened in Adobe Reader again which seems to be set as standard application.
* Sometimes, after right-clicking to open a pdf file in Preview, it does not open at all. I then obtain a message
``Impossible to open ".pdf" because this application comes from a non identified developer.
macOS cannot verify that this app does not contain malware. AdobeAcrobat has created this file today at .
``
What could have happened that caused this behaviour and how can I fix it?

I am trying to download Adobe Flash CS6 on my MacBook Air Sequoia 15.3.1. I am using a guide from https://getintopc.com/softwares/development/adobe-flash-cs6-official-free-download-setup-1564538/ and got as far as getting the set-up.exe, but when I try to set up Flash, it gives me an "Installation Failed" message.
I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling, resetting my computer, closing all other applications, and turning off my firewall. None of them have worked. I am using Wine Stable to open .exe files if that matters. Is there anything to remedy this or another method to install Adobe Flash CS6? Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

Why does Adobe Reader require an installer?
Does anyone know why Adobe Reader requires a permissioned installer application, rather that simply existing as a self contained macOS application bundle? What system level configurations is the installer making changes to, and why does Adobe feel they are needed for a simple PDF reader?

Every time I restart my computer it runs setup assistant and forgets certain settings. This has been happening for years (through a migration from a 2011 Mac Mini to a 2015 Macbook Pro) but now I'm afraid its causing other problems. I've tried everything in this thread to no avail.
https://apple.stackexchange.com/questions/117753/how-to-stop-setup-assistant-from-showing-up-on-every-restart-on-mac-mini-with-os
Here's what happens:
- Computer restarts and I login to admin
- Setup options run (data privacy, asks for iCloud password BUT remembers my iCloud username, anlytics, screentime Siri prompts etc.
- Goes to my desktop (desktop background has reset)
- Keyboard setup assistant runs
- Optimize your Mac notification pops up
- and recently it gives me a Relocated Items folder
What IS working:
- Startup programs all run
- Dock settings are saved
- reopens windows from previous login if it was set to
Photoshop Preferences Issue:
When I start Photoshop after computer restart it has reset preferences. Even more strange: the first time I open photoshop it runs a "dark mode" more recent looking layout, but if I reopen AGAIN (and any following reopens) it runs a lighter layout, older looking layout that fails to save or export projects.
Not sure if those issues are related but any advice is appreciated. For context this computer has migrated from a 2009 Macbook to a 2011 Mac Mini to now a 2015 refurb Macbook Pro running Catalina 10.15.3 and the issue first started on the mini.
What can be done to solve this?

I have a workflow that involves using Adobe Acrobat's built-in tool for exporting PDFs to Microsoft Excel Workbooks. I've experimented with several PDF-to-spreadsheet convertors, and this gives the best results for my purposes.
Because my workflow includes multiple PDF files that will update at various intervals, I would like to script the conversion step, rather than manually opening each PDF and clicking through the export menu.
I cannot figure out how to access Adobe export tools in a shell. Google is failing me, but I may not know the correct keywords. Does anyone know if this is possible?

I installed Adobe Photoshop Elements 2023, which annoyingly comes with a load of useless crud I do not want, but seems so interconnected I cannot just remove it. One of this useless (to me) pieces of software is Adobe Elements 2023 Organizer, which seems to run some sort of useless 'auto creation' (of what?!?) in the background. I ticked all the boxes in the damn app preferences to stop it from doing so, but it still does. I also disabled Adobe from running automatically in the System Setting to no avail.
So the questions:
1) can I altogether remove Adobe Elements 2023 Organizer without stopping Photoshop Elements from working?
2) if no, can I at least totally disable Auto Creations from running in the background?
I am on Ventura, on a M1.

*Launch Command*:
/Applications/Adobe\ Acrobat\ DC/Adobe\ Acrobat.app/Contents/MacOS/AdobeAcrobat file.pdf
*Hardware*: Apple M1 Max \
*OS*: MacOS Ventura 13.2.1 \

NOTE: Using

is not an option because I want to keep .pdf
files associated with Preview since it's so much faster to launch.

I have a PDF that won't open in Preview; it gives this error message:
However, it will open in Acrobat Reader, but cannot be resaved, or saved with a new file name from Reader:
As I can see all the pages (or most of them at least!) from this PDF, there must be some way to get them into a file that Preview can open. I can do this by copying pages from Reader one-at-a-time, but the PDF has 500 pages.
What is the easiest and cheapest way to export all these pages, and create a new PDF, from Acrobat Reader?
**EDIT:** I'd rather not have to sign up for online Adobe services...

* 2.4 GHz 8-core Intel i9
* AMD Radeon Pro 5600M 8GB

Rush was running fine before today and suddenly even doing simple operations like expanding the timeline causes it to use up to 4 cores to max capacity. At this point editing videos can take hours to complete while the cursor just spins.
Nothing else in the system is using any appreciable CPU.
There is tons of free RAM available.
I've tried restarting and clearing Rush's cache, but neither has worked.
What could have caused this to happen?

I know there is an Creative Cloud Uninstaller but it is 32-bit so won't run on Catalina. I've downloaded the most recent but after running it quits with errors (and doesn't seem to do a thing).
Is there a list of every CC file that Adobe spewed throughout my filesystem so I can delete them manually?

I have to restart the Mac 4-5 times a day because of this.
Is there a way to "clear" whatever is happening on a restart through a terminal command?
Its bad enough it locks up like this but if I could quickly clear the application from memory or cache; it would save a lot of time restarting.

The computer will primarily be used for Adobe Creative Cloud. The computer can handle a maximum of 16 GB RAM, but Adobe recommends 32 GB RAM for 4K editing in Premiere Pro, and he would like to edit in 4K. So my question is whether you think 16 GB RAM is sufficient for 4K editing or if he should buy a new computer?

I use Acrobat on my iPad to read PDFs. They are currently stored on the iPad. How can I move all my PDF files from the iPad storage to Adobe Document Cloud?
Note that:
1. I [can't](https://superuser.com/q/1607825/116475) transfer multiple files+folders at once from the Acrobat app on iPadOS 13 or 14 directly to my computer, which runs Windows 7.
2. The following screenshot shows some action that can only be applied to 1 PDF file at a time. However, I am looking for a solution to upload all my PDFs at once to Adobe Document Cloud, since I have a few hundreds of them.
