I'm using a macOS app to create GIFs (called GifFox ) but the app does not offer a feature to auto-save to clipboard. However, I can define the location the GIF will be saved to. How can I create an automation that:
1. listens for new files in this folder and auto-copies them to the clipboard (preferred UX)
2. that copies the newest file in a folder to the clipboard after I execute a certain shortcut (less optimal).

One route for this was through the iTunes app on a Mac. Currently in macOS Mojave, the iTunes app seems to no longer know about apps at all.
Old Answers here on Ask Different talk about using the Share sheet on the iOS device, inside the App Store app. But on iOS 12.3.1, I can find no such item in the Share sheet.
➥ Does Apple no longer allows gifting apps?
I see posts about the Mac App Store not offering the "gift an app" feature. Perhaps Apple has removed that from the iOS App Store as well?

Is it possible to *partially* claim an iTunes gift card?
When I claim an iTunes gift card I am given the option to use it toward an Apple Music subscription. For example, I can use a $150 gift card to get a year of Apple Music for $99 and have $51 left over to buy apps or whatever. But what if I'm not sure yet whether or not I want to commit to the Apple...
When I claim an iTunes gift card I am given the option to use it toward an Apple Music subscription. For example, I can use a $150 gift card to get a year of Apple Music for $99 and have $51 left over to buy apps or whatever.
But what if I'm not sure yet whether or not I want to commit to the Apple Music Platform? It may not be an obvious decision for everyone. It certainly gave me a pause, while I considered how likely I am to purchase a HomePod in the near future, and various other factors.
Is there a way to claim *just* $51 of the $150 gift card and buy some apps and music while I contemplate whether I actually want Apple Music? Or do I have to buy the Apple Music subscription first, *and then* other iTunes content?

I would like to gift a book listed on ibooks as a giveaway for 175 people at a European conference. Attendees all have iphones/ipads but are based across various European countries. I have all their email addresses and would email all individually but I seem to be thwarted by the fact that the destination of the purchasing store (UK) and the recipents store (various European countries./US) are not the same.
Can anyway suggest a solution?

I regularly gift apps to friends, but now I can't find the Gift button anywhere: Not in the sharing menu of the iPad's app store where it used to be, not under the disclosure arrow on the iTunes store under OSX. I want to make a purchase from the Apple Store as a gift to my friend. The purchase is a physical item (e.g., iPhone), rather than an app to download.
Because I live far away from her, I want to use my Visa credit card and send it directly to her address with the option of "Gift" selected. Would that be possible? I will be using her address instead of mine. So, what would the transaction look like when I check my Visa transactions at my bank? Would her name appear on the transaction? Would I still be able to send it to her directly with her information, or do I have to send the package to myself, and send it to her after that?
