Hi I have a HTC Desire X and this device has a SD CARD with 16 Gb. I want to extend my memory using Link2D. I read I have to make partitions on my SD Card. The problem is that I do not know how. If I connect my phone in debugging mode with my Linux Mint laptop, it will connect with MTP and therefore I cannot use a partitioning tool. The Team Win Recovery Project Partitioning Tool (2.5) fails while partitioning the card and installing the app "APparted" or a busybox fail as well. How can I partition my SD card in the phone using Linux or Android? The phone is rooted and SU is installed.

The home button on my HTC Desire X used to take me to the HTC sense home. But once I stopped HTC sense from settings-apps & from then on, it takes me to the default android Home (the one with the snow capped mountain etc). Even after I restarted HTC Sense, Re-started the phone & even Factory reset the phone, this behaviour still persists. How do I get back my original home button functionality.

I updated my HTC Desire X software to 4.1 and restarted my phone. When my phone turned on again, I tried using the search bar but there was no keyboard. So I thought I'd search the internet using my phone to see why my keyboard hadn't come up before, but even when I clicked on the search bar on Chrome, the keyboard still didn't come up. I then went onto my text messages and tried typing there but still no keyboard. I tried looking through the phone's settings and didn't find anything there. Has this ever happened to anyone else? If so, how did you get your keyboard back?

Getting Trace Keyboard back after Android 4.1.1 update on HTC Desire X
I have a HTC Desire X. It was running 4.0.4. Yesterday I updated OS to 4.1.1. This took away the Trace keyboard - is there a way to get Trace keyboard back after the 4.1.1. update. If not, can I revert back to 4.0.4? I am not rooted?

Ever since I installed the update to 4.1 I've been having major issues with my desire x. - The keyboard disappears frequently while typing, sometimes I can't get it back without closing the app and restarting. - When I exit a lot of apps, but most notably any of the browsers (I use Firefox and Chrome but have also tried the standard browser) the home screen shows the loading symbol for several seconds and I have to wait before I can do anything. - Lots of apps close without warning. This phone has gone from a great easy to use, relatively fast and reliable phone into something I can barely use for typing on. I did a factory reset a month ago which helped for a short time but now the problem is worse than ever. Continuously doing a factory reset is not a solution! Does anyone have any ideas how to fix this? I should note I am using SwiftKey but it makes no difference if I use the standard keyboard.

Ringtone volume decreases after silenting and unsilenting my HTC Desire X

Now I go back to Settings and see that the Volume is very low (about 10% as it looks). ---- I want my settings back after disabling Silent mode and going Normal. Environment: * Phone: HTC Desire X Dual Sim * Android Version: 4.1.1 * Kernel Version: 3.4.0-ge410a46 * Software number: 1.0.0. Desire X I can also give the whole information in Settings -> About -> Software Information if they are not enough.

I have got a HTC Desire X about 3 months ago. I've quite enjoyed the features it comes with. For the past week or so, I have been facing with this strange issue. The touch screen acts as if it is being touched even when I am not touching the screen. First, I couldn't understand what was happening as calls were getting disconnected or answered automatically. Then, I turned the Show visual Feedback for touches from the developer options in settings. I could now clearly see the screen is detecting a touch on its own. I Factory resetted the device from the settings and from Bootloader as well. It works fine for a couple of days without any issues. But, the issue comes back. Please help me with this issues. Thanks in advance. TLDR: Touchscreen touches automatically. Factory reset resolves the issue, but only for some time(2 days at max, an hour at min).
