Questions regarding receiving 3G calls on my IDEOS

I'm wondering if I will be able to receive video calls so that I can just see them or maybe show my primary camera (back of the phone; the only camera) to them?
Also, if that was possible, can I toggle the camera off/on DURING the 3g call?
And does "data packet" need to be enabled to receive 3G calls?
EDIT: My device is Huawei IDEOS u8150 running Android 2.2 and if 3G video calls are not supported, can I find some custom ROM suitable for mine that can do this with the existing camera or some other workaround?

How to record FM radio
Is there an app which can record audio (to mp3) from the FM radio (**NOT** internet-radio). I want to record some shows while listening to the radio and store them in my SD memory card but I can't seem to find any suitable application. My phone is a Huawei U8150 and I'm using Android 2.1.

While I know Android phones play mp4 the best, I wanted to know what other specification in this container is the best for playback, (the bitrate, resolution, fps etc). Or perhaps some other codec/format that Android can (or is designed to) play smoothly and with an acceptable file size/quality ratio?
I searched the Android developer page and tried the H.264 setting on my converter etc, but the file fails to play natively on my handset and when I tried to open it using RockPlayer. It plays slowly and the video-audio gets out of sync progressively. I tried many external players. However, 3GP videos from my Nokia phones play smoothly (even natively). **So I want to know what is ideal for my low end phone (video should be normal quality and size)?**
My phone is a Huawei IDEOS U8150 running Froyo with a 320x240 resolution and a 528 Mhz ARMv6 processor.
Also if anyone has tips, what types of encoding is recommended, if I'd be using the software decoder mode in apps like RockPlayer, so I can achieve more file size compression yet achieve smooth playback?

I have a Huawei comet u8150 That I decided to root seeing as I'm stuck with it for the time being. I rooted it last night, Flashed Clockwork Mod Recovery 5.0.2 and Installed CyanogenMod 7 for the U8150. Now before I installed Cyanogen I was able to access the device via adb using sudo -s and starting the server via a root shell. Now I can run it as sudo or a root shell and I get the same issue. Inside of 51-android.rules I have

You can see that 12d1 is included inside of the 51-android.rules file, so I'm not sure where to go from here as everyone tells me to drop to a root shell which has not worked as well. Thanks in advance.
---UPDATE---
Thought I'd give some extra input on the matter real fast.
If I perform an adb pull or an adb shell that seems to be working. However when I try to utilize adb push or nano while in the superuser adb shell I don't have permissions to modify. It recognizes my device, but that's it.
I'm sure I have the rules set correctly, but the problem is I can use
`
sudo -s
`
and operate from within the root shell and I have the same output when using adb devices. Hopefully someone will have some thoughts as to what's going on.

I am installing a custom rom for the very first time and I simply don't want to brick my phone (Huawei U8150).
1. I downloaded and installed Rom Manager
2. I downloaded Cyanogen 7 (update-cm-7.2.0-RC0-U8150-KANG-signed-dec5.zip) for my U8150 and stored it on SD card.
3. I started Rom Manager > Flash ClockMod Recovery > shows a list of supported phones. *It does not have U8150 in the list.* I wonder how others have made it work!
4. From ROM Manager I chosen the Rom file manually with "Install ROM from SD Card" option, it restarts and gives only for options a. reboot, b. apply update.zip c & d. wipe
What to do next? The rom file is in .zip, while I downloaded another .img file (clockworkmod_5.0.2.7_u8150.img). What does it exactly do?
I think i must first create backup of current rom and then install cyanogen.

What is the recommended way to root the X3? I've found mention of a Windows app called SuperOneClick , which looks like it may be useful. My development machine is a Mac, but I'm not adverse to using Windows apps to do this if its easier.

Recently I just downgraded my busybox to 1.18.2 version using the jRummy's BusyBox Installer. I was previously having busybox preinstalled by CM7.2 custom ROM.
Then I immediately tried to install the latest, 1.19.4 version using the same app..
It could have shown some error message, but I wasn't sure. Maybe the download didn't proceed fully. But now onwards, I am getting "No root" message when I try to launch the BusyBox Installer. I tried everything, forgetting the app from SuperUser (by chainsfire) app and reauthorizing root for it, clearing data, rebooting the phone etc.
Apps like link2sd also cannot get "root" privileges all of a sudden!!
Strange thing is, z4root app detects my phone as already rooted. And when I try to click "re-root", the process goes on and on and nothing happens.
Why has this happened? Is this because JRummy's busybox overwrites the CM7.2 build one? Should I never try updating busybox when I'm on CM7.2? or is it because I have to specify correct path? /system/xbin in that busybox installer?
Now all I need is to make busybox and more importantly, get my root back to work properly hopefully without having to reinstall my ROM. Any ideas?

ARM6 or ARM6 VFP?

I need to know because in the Android Market for video players, there are different versions for different processor types like ARM6 and ARM6 VFP versions.

Space issues and rooting

I have a Huawei IDEOS u8150 running Froyo. Ever since I got this device, I've been running into low disk space problems (because of only 150 MB internal space). So I've had enough and moved all the apps I can to SD card. Then again, some were not movable.
So I did a little research and saw this article on loading apps to the SD card by default . It seemed to work rather weirdly, as some apps which couldn't be moved to the SD card before, now can be moved after using that trick. Still, the system apps and vendor bundled apps remained in the internal memory. Also, most of the moved apps still took some space on the internal memory.
The Froyo's app2sd rather seems to be behaving oddly according to me (though I've searched online and found this is normal, sadly).
**What I want to know is :**
1. Will rooting enable me to further enhance my Froyo's app2sd function?
2. Will custom mods be a better option with space management for my phone? If so, which ones?
3. Right now I have apps that I really need and use and I'm stuck with low disk space. (Please dont link me to anywhere; I've done all I can with cleared caches and I have no more apps to uninstall which I don't need.) I've heard that z4root takes 22MB+ internal space. Is there anything else to root using adb or something that wont require internal space? Or if I use z4root itself, can I remove the app fully after rooting and still have root? What about SuperOneClick's space cost?
