Android 3D media player

I have Zidoo Z9X media player, which is able to play 3D ISO files using his own proprietary media player app. However, it cannot play the most recent 3D ISO files (released during last years). As far as I understand, that's because something has changed in the format of 3D ISO files and Zidoo Z9X's processor does not support that new thing. Unfortunately, the own proprietary media player does not have a software mode (only hardware acceleration mode).
Zidoo Z9X is able to install Android apps as its OS is Android based.
Looking for a solution I installed VLC media player and enabled its software mode. As a result it was able to play 3D ISO files, but not in 3D mode. I did not find any way to activate the 3D mode in it.
So, the question is: I need an Android media player, which: a) supports software mode, b) is able to play 3D ISO files and c) can do this in 3D mode. Maybe, there is some VLC version, that can do this, but I was not able to find such version.
Please help.

I am using Samsung Galaxy Ace with Android 2.3 and these QQ, Mobo, Mvideo, and MX players are not able to play .mkv file smoothly.

I have a Pixel 8 Pro with Android 14; for years I have used my Android phones for car navigation. Like many, I like to use my phone to listen to Pandora, Spotify, podcast players etc. While in Driving Mode, there is... or *was* a tray at the bottom of the screen I could click to view all of the available media providers (everything presented with giant buttons to reduce driving distraction), select the one I wanted to use, and select from the selected provider which music channel, podcast, etc. I wanted to listen to.
Recently this tray has simply disappeared and for the life of me I can't figure out what happened or how to get it back again. I've searched through system settings and driving mode settings and if there is anything related to this behavior I haven't been able to find it. I also tried clearing the cache of some apps and many system services, but this has not fixed the issue.
Wondering if anyone has an idea what is going on and how to restore this UI element to driving mode.

I researched VidMate and found out that it says "use PLAYit player to play the video". When I download the app, it plays successfully.
Why can downloaded videos by VidMate only be played using PLAYit even though it is in MP4 format?

When listening to media on my phone (Android 11) for the last week or so, the audio will change at random and unprompted, e.g.:
- rewinding or fast-forwarding (NB - these functions are mapped to my volume keys if that is relevant)
- volume going up or down (including down to zero volume, and up to max)
- media pausing at random and also playing at random (this is the biggest issue, as even if I have force-quit my media application, any time the phone is turned on, the application randomly restarts and may start playing my most recent audio at any volume.)
It does not happen in a predictable way - sometimes behaviour is normal for hours at a time, sometimes there is a glitch every few seconds. It does not seem to be related to network issues or my headphones, and the volume change buttons don't seem to be obviously broken (and also shouldn't affect pause/restart functions). Without touching anything, I have also occasionally seen the volume slider oscillate randomly up and down. This happens across several apps.
I cannot tell if it is a hardware or software issue. Is there any way to either diagnose the cause of this sort of problem, or any way to lock the volume or pause-play functionality so that it does not change unless I explicitly confirm it?

On Android I have tried two video players, VLC and MKV. I can't figure out how to choose an edition to play in either of these. Is there any way to play an MKV file on android and be able to select an edition to play, before or during playback of a file?

I am using Android Chrome. Why I am seeing four additional full-screen buttons in the embedded Youtube players as shown below, instead of the play and other buttons. The issue reproduces on various websites.
The problem reproduces even if I check the "show in desktop mode". The videos start to play when I click the left-most button where the play button should be. Sometimes the four gear icons start to flicker replacing the full-screen buttons.
These issues appeared recently, maybe a couple of weeks ago. I use Chrome version 113.0.5672.77; the Android is the latest native 12. The phone is CAT S42.

I am using the Split View functionality of my Android tablet to read e-books while also listening to their audio-book versions. For this purpose, I need to have most of my screen given to the e-pub reader and only a narrow bar assigned to the media player. I have already tried the VLC media player and some other ones but they take up about one-fourth of the valuable space.
Any ideas on how I might reduce the amount of space taken by the audio player? Or are there any players you know with the desired functionality in Split View mode?

Does this mean that someone managed to connect a smart TV or something else to my Android phone, without me doing anything? I don't even use that Android phone as my primary phone, it's connected to my Mac all day, just sitting on the table, I'm using it to debug my Android app.

I have a USB disk with MP3 music connected. Everytime when the Pumpkin radio has booted, it recognizes the USB disk and starts the preinstalled media player automatically, which starts playing the first song from the disk. This is annoying, and furthermore, I'm not satisfied with this app cause it lacks relevant features.
I want that the media player "Phonograph", which I have installed, starts instead. I have asked Pumpkin support, they say it is not possible to change the default media player app. I have looked in the settings "**Apps -> Standard apps**", but there is no setting for the topic "Mediaplayer" available (there is a setting for the default browser and one other topic, only)
I tried to disable this default player app (I forgot the name) but not possible, is greyed out.
Does anyone have an idea? If possible, without root.
Thank you.

I've got several apps to playback stuff on my Android device (Google News, Spotify, Audible). Usually, all these media players stick to the notification menu / quick settings.
When pausing playback either via Google Assistant voice command or button on my Pixel Buds and then resuming, most of the time, the most recently used media player continues to playback.
However, sometimes (and then in situations in which I am unable to operate my phone by hand), the wrong player continues, e.g. the morning news plays while I was already listening to a podcast on Spotify, etc.
How can I force Android to always continue the media player I listened to most recently?
Alternatively, is there a voice command to select a specific player?

My notifications work perfectly sound, but when I try to play any kind of media in any app, no sound comes out on my device.
Is there anything that can be done in such cases to try to resolve the issue? Any option in developer mode, anyway...

I have a collection of DVDs I own and have ripped and would like to play on my Android device. I want them to play on my Android device *exactly like a DVD* -- with menus, etc. I can easily do this on my PC with various DVD playing software (i.e. VLC Media Player). I do *not* want to convert the file to DivX or MP4 or whatever. (as the answers to those questions suggest) I do not want to lose the menuing and the scene selection, etc. Instead, I want a full 4.5 GB rip stored on my hard drive and I want to "point at that" (and over the network to boot).
I saw these two questions:
- https://android.stackexchange.com/questions/1971/how-to-watch-dvds-on-my-captivate
However, neither of these questions addresses what I would like to do.
Is this possible?

I am looking for a way to play every file 2 times (or a specific number of times) then going to the next file and playing it 2 times, and so on.
Motivation: When listening to short length educational musics (for example for language learning), listening to the music two times greatly improve understanding of the topic. The ability to automatically play every files 2 times would be really helpful, especially when playing during driving in a car.

in the past WhatsApp videos opened by default in the video player you annoted on Android as the default video player.
in my case all videos in my Android phone (an Xperia z ) will open with MX player which is the default player I made for all video and audio files.
however newer versions of WhatsApp will force all videos to open in an internal WhatsApp player which is a very rudimentary player. it will not automatically Orient the video besides volume boosting.
other than actually use an explorer and navigate to the WhatsApp video folder , is there a way to force all WhatsApp videos not to use the hapless internal WhatsApp player but use MX Player.
I don't think an older version of WhatsApp that permitted will run without problems right now.,.. I very consciously avoided WhatsApp upgrades to a point where my WhatsApp itself crashed repeatedly and would not work & that is when I upgraded
