Hello I have a Samsung s22 ultra which used to work completely fine till one UI 7 update after that I was screen recording when the mini thing which shows timer of screen recording and pause button disappeared then I couldn't find my screen recording in the gallery but I found it in my files saved as a .pending file and it also shows the video occupies around 1gb space but it's unplayable.
Then I lost hope and screen recorder worked fine for a few days and then again the problem started and screen recording saved as .pending but it showed it occupied around 600mb space but it didn't play and then it happened several times btw I had enough storage my phone is 12gb ram and 512gb room variant I had more than 150gb free space also I had enough battery and everything else was working fine.
Someone please help me I really need those screen recorded files. Please anyone provide a working solution about how to get that video back. It's been some days now I even restarted my phone still it didn't work also it's up to date and no malicious software is present it's not rooted or something too just everything is normal.

My Google Pixel 3 phone saves videos as mp4 files that have no thumbnails in Windows Explorer.
(This screenshot shows files on my PC that I'd moved via USB from the Pixel 3.)
Apparently many other Pixel 3 owners report this same annoying situation; the problem isn't specific to my device.
How can I make my Pixel 3 generate thumbnails properly?

Is there a way or a tool to join these files or to repair the second one ?
I've already try a binary copy with "copy \b" and "cat", a join with

ffmpeg -f concat
and an append with avidemux
without success.

Can't play currently recorded mp4 videos on my android phone
I have a gopro camera which records MP4 videos. My android phone was always capable of playing these files; but recently I have recorded two videos and my phone just says I do not support this type of file for playing! What's wrong? What may be happened to my phone or camera or recorded files?

Is there a different app I should use or some setting I need to change so that way I can watch the videos without having to move them from my USB to my tablet?
Edit: also, is there a way I can move files between my tablet and USB?

While I know Android phones play mp4 the best, I wanted to know what other specification in this container is the best for playback, (the bitrate, resolution, fps etc). Or perhaps some other codec/format that Android can (or is designed to) play smoothly and with an acceptable file size/quality ratio?
I searched the Android developer page and tried the H.264 setting on my converter etc, but the file fails to play natively on my handset and when I tried to open it using RockPlayer. It plays slowly and the video-audio gets out of sync progressively. I tried many external players. However, 3GP videos from my Nokia phones play smoothly (even natively). **So I want to know what is ideal for my low end phone (video should be normal quality and size)?**
My phone is a Huawei IDEOS U8150 running Froyo with a 320x240 resolution and a 528 Mhz ARMv6 processor.
Also if anyone has tips, what types of encoding is recommended, if I'd be using the software decoder mode in apps like RockPlayer, so I can achieve more file size compression yet achieve smooth playback?

I get several emails everyday from my security camera system. Such mail contains links to video clips (aprox 20 sec each) form cameras in MP4 format. I use native Gmail client for Android.
After clicking on such link the clip is open in browser but nothing is playback. Only controls are display and shows clip time "zero". I try both native and Chrome as a browser
The same clip is properly playback when I use Chrome on desktop (Linux) platform.
For test purposes I downloaded MP4 clip from RedTube ;-) which is properly playback on my Android device. But when I try to playback it in the same way as clips from security camera, the result is the same (only controls are displayed in browser).
What I have to do to reach proper playback MP4 files in my Android unit?
I use Galaxy S4 mini, Android ver 4.4.2

Is there a solution for poor Acer Iconia A500 playback of MP4 video?
When playing back MP4 video files my Acer Iconia A500 will drop frames and produce video artifacts. Does it just not support MP4, or is there a better MP4 player I can download? **Update**: Turns out it was just an issue with 1080p video. 720p video plays back great.
