I recently recorded a 4-minute odd video on my Realme 13 pro+ running Android 15 and Realme UI 6.0
The video was recorded, and I even took snapshots while it was being recorded. The snapshots were saved in the gallery, but to my surprise, the video was not saved at all.
I even double-checked that the video was being recorded. The snapshot button only appears when the video is being recorded; hence, there is no doubt whether the video button was pressed or not.
Is there any way I can recover the video?
I would appreciate any help you can give me.
Thanks.

I tried with a screen recorder, but Android doesn't allow you to record internal audio unless you root your smartphone (in this case the warranty goes away).

I am OK with rooting, and developing if really needed.
https://developer.android.com/reference/android/hardware/camera2/CameraManager#getConcurrentCameraIds() returns
{{0, 1}}
which makes me think it might be possible.

I am trying to record all the video calls with my parents. However, every video chat app that I know does not support a recording option. I have tried 3rd-party screen recording apps but they did not work. It seems the screen recording app clashes with the video chat app for the microphone. So, all I get is a recorded video chat without sound, or a good recorded video chat but the person who I am calling cannot hear my voice.
I searched everywhere and even contacted Google support but with no luck.
Would it be possible, or would I have to wait for the video chat app to start supporting recording?

I want to record video defaulting to the panoramic (0.5x, 16 mm, wide angle) lense on my Motorola Razr 2022. Currently the builtin camera app defaults to the normal (10x, 23 mm) lense every time I exit/enter the app, or the phone locks/unlocks. Sometimes I forget to switch it back at the moment I hit record. I can't monitor the phone while it is recording because it's recording a sports practice I'm part of.
Are there any video recording apps that auto-switch to particular lense? Or other ways to make the wide angle lense the default?
So far I've tried Filmic, Open Camera, Secure Camera (by GrapheneOS), Libre Camera, and [ProShot](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.riseupgames.proshot2&hl=en-US) . ProShot has come the closest it sometimes remembers the lense, but not reliably. Blackmagic Camera isn't available for my phone (Motorola Razr 2022)

I am using Denver ACK-8062W action camera to record while I'm driving my motorcycle and it always stops on 18 minutes, I tried using "loop video" feature where the camera starts a new clip after 5 minutes, but the camera records 3 5 minute video clips and stops on the 4th clip's 3rd minute.
It doesn't appear to be a file size limitation, because the 5 minute clips are bigger in size then the 3 minute.
It doesn't appear to be a storage limitation, as I had 20 GB of free storage before the recording began.
It doesn't appear to be a battery limitation, as I had full battery after the recording had finished.
the format file is FAT32 and the camera doesn't overheat. Can anyone help?

I found so many apps which can record screen on my android device.
Some of them can record audio and video at the same time, but only when I turned on the "Record with microphone" option.
That's not realy good, becouse the game sound can be a little bit noisy that way, so I need to record the game audio without using my microphone for best quality.
I would be grateful if the solution does not require a computer for audio recording.
My device is:
Sony Xperia Z2
Android version 5.1.1
Not rooted and can't root it becouse if I do, I lose my warranty.

I wanted to record some of my conversations with Google Assistant, and I used the AZ Screen Recorder app to record. However, when I start recording and open up Google Assistant, it gives me the "Can't reach Google at the moment" error, although my internet's working fine.
Also tried with the Mobizen app and some other apps, same connectivity error. When I'm not recording the screen, the Assistant works as normal.
Has anybody else experienced this and how should I fix it?

I'd like to ask a question regarding screenrecording calls on discord or phone with sound.
Premise
I know that probably some of the readers will write about how it might not be that allowed or permitted because of privacy concerns, but from the other end I could also say that the speakers should also be wary of what they sort out of their mouths in order to preserve their privacy, and all of the latter shouldn't prevent in any way the first end's party to record the conversation in order to store the conversations and safeguard themselves in case of any contention or litigation. In a nutshell, privacy shouldn't prevent one of the parties to record for precaution and proof concerns, especially when this privacy can be kept by controlling what comes out of the mouth.
After a whole plethora of contentions with lots of people that I had UNJUSTLY lost because I could NOT prove anything of what'd been said to me, I decided to take the safeguard route which I'm currently finding hurdles with.
After this little written digression, how can I screenrecord phone or discord calls with voice? I tried the in-built screenrecorder and the whole set of task-related apps but unfortunately the first does not work and the second type either screenrecords soundlessly or it does not screenrecord at all when it comes to calls. How can I manage to circumvent the whole block? Does it relate only android? I'd be glad to receive exhaustive answers and on point about SCREENRECORDING calls with VOICE, not simple records, not recording with a second or third device.
Thanks to every answerer.

Perilous times...
I have to be able to record/stream a video through my Android, just like anyone does to its local storage, but instead, directly to a file somewhere on the cloud. What's most important to me is, if while recording a video the recording stops, there's a guarantee that's what's been recorded till the last seconds is already in the cloud, and is a playable file.
Realtime playable streaming is not essential. I want to make sure that while I'm recording a video I know that most of the video is already on the cloud, and the video extends while the Android phone is in the recording state.
What are the solutions to this?
Ideally, I want to be able to record to a shared directory on the google drive.

Some apps on the Google Play Store claim to be able to record calls on Viber or Skype. I even found some apps not in the play store. I tried some, but I'm not sure if they work. I haven't gotten around to testing any yet. Some reviews of the apps I found seem to be mixed. I don't feel like reinventing the wheel.
I have a second phone that I would use except that **sometimes the calls I make require earphones**.
If it matters, the phone I use for Viber, Skype, etc calls is a Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Plus, and my other phone is a Samsung Galaxy Mega.
Please don't bring up any stuff about legality.

I have several phones, all of them on various versions of Android 10 and 11. I am using an app to make conference calls and I need to record those conference calls. My main device is Huawei P20, but the same problem occurs on all the Android phones I have. When I try to screen record the calls, there is no audio at all. I have tried a bunch of screen recording apps, including the one that came with the system and all the major screen recording apps available. Same problem.
I have also checked and tweaked the sound settings and did everything I could, (internal, mic, mic + internal/system have all been tried) but the problem persists. A lot of screen recording apps say if the Android version is lower than 9, there might be issues with the audio, but 10 and above shouldn't have any issues.
One error message comes up sometimes: app ABC (that app's name) is recording audio (or using the mic) so the audio can't be recorded. I don't know what that means, because all I need the screen recorder to do is to faithfully grab the audio from the system.
I tried screen recording the same app on iPhones and there was no problem at all. The audio was clearly kept.
