I need to give remote assistance to another person by accessing her android mobile. Is there some app like TeamViewr or Microsoft Teams for Windows that allow the person in need of assistance to give control of their mobile to another person remotely? Are they safe? I mean I should be the only person who, upon request, should be able to do that. Question was kind of already posted here https://android.stackexchange.com/questions/84729/fully-control-android-phone-from-another-android-phone-over-the-internet but it's pretty old.

Before I write my own app, I want to know if there is an app to fully control one Android phone from another Android phone (over the Internet)? I need this so that I can remotely start apps, install apps and control apps for a remote Android phone (un/rooted) without requesting permissions. An app to basically do remote screen sharing with full privileges given. I have used TeamViewer and AirDroid, but I don't like these as the remote device needs to allow permissions. The usecase is simple: I am giving my mother (not so tech savy), who lives in another country, an Android phone (assuming it will have Internet connectivity over Wi-Fi). I want to be able to fully control her phone from my Android phone (from another country).

I'm using Zoom on my Windows 11 laptop to run a webcast meeting. I attach both a USB camera and a USB microphone to the laptop to do the webcast. I need to occasionally cut off the mic temporarily. Currently I am using the laptop's mousepad to click the audio cut-off. This is sometimes problematic. Is there a way to do this laptop mic cut-off using an Android app on my smartphone? I am thinking that I could possibly connect the phone to the laptop via Bluetooth, and to use that connection to reach out and touch the Zoom-controlled microphone. Is this possible? Is there a currently available app for this? Or would I have to write such an app myself?

Is it possible to backup an image of an Android device - so that one doesn't even need to reinstall apps? It would be particularly useful to hear from users that have restored backups, as to how easy, and complete, their processes were. Thanks

I have an Oppo F3. My sensor was bugged, and any calls made via Messenger, Viber, or WhatsApp would mean my mobile's device turning black. I need to turn my mobile device off through my PC and currently, I can't access my mobile phone. The power button and my volume button work, and even when it was working, pressing my "Power Off" button would just display a "Swipe to power off" function. Long pressing the power button would not result in anything specific, as it does in so many other devices. Virtually, there was no way I could restart my phone because as it seems, there just isn't a restart function in my phone. I've tried many stuffs, but will I be able to power off my device? If I could restart my device, or even just turn it off, the problem wouldn't persist.

My friend isn't tech-savvy and asked me to save his Android tablet. However, the problem is - the screen works but no longer registers touch, so in the current state, no internal setup can be performed with no input. Now we are both wondering how to set up the tablet for running e.g. calendar. We need to somehow connect an external device for input which requires no setup from the tablet. I know there is Anydesk for remote control of a device, but it needs to be installed on both to work. Not to mention Android isn't designed for keyboard nor mouse input. Is it possible to force a mouse connection on the tablet? Is connection to the mouse through the computer feasible? Any advice?

Is there any solution?

Controlling a Bluetooth app over the internet
I have a robot mower and it's great, however, if it gets stuck, it can only be controlled via Bluetooth using its Android app, which is not much use if I'm away from home. Is there a way to control a spare phone mounted on the robot that has the app on it from my own phone over the internet?

I wanted to ask if there is a way to use my computer's keyboard to type on my phone while it is plugged into the PC to charge. I was wondering if anyone on here has a setup like this. The end result needs to be: I can connect my phone through a dock or some other USB cable and either switch between Windows on my PC to type on the Android device or find an OTG device capable of charging *and* connecting a keyboard at the same time. This wouldn't be ideal due to limited desktop space. I could connect a separate keyboard with an OTG cable, but this would stop me from charging it while using it. I could also use AutoHotkey or something similar to send keystrokes to the Android device over USB, but I'm not sure how this would affect charging it or transferring files over USB as well. It could probably be done but I don't know where to start. Ideally, this would be the option I'd use.

I have an Android 5-based smartphone that I like a lot but it's an old phone and the touchscreen is damaged. The screen works perfectly but there's no user input available. The battery was changed recently and I suppose the technician did a good job fixing the backing side but broke the front part containing the touchscreen. **Is there an option to access it somehow and make it controllable remotely?** If I use a USB cable, is possible to install TeamViewer or some other remote control software to still use it? The phone has no other remote control software preinstalled. Its touchscreen broke before I was able to install anything for remote control. The point is to use its camera and mic functionality, and still use its sensors to do something useful like a remote camera or something similar.

I have a Philips 58PUS8505/62 4K LED Android TV. Normally, I want to power off the TV by switching off the power outlet the TV is connected. However, the TV or its remote does not provide a menu or key combination (that I know of) to shut down the operating system and power off the TV _before I cut the power_. When I press the red (power) button on the remote, the TV goes into standby. However Android continues to run and I see disk IO on the external disk connected to the USB port of the TV. I know how to "unmount" the external disk, but my question is not on this. I tried to **long press** the power button on the remote (external TV boxes work this way), but nothing different happens. There seems to be no way to power off the TV. What am I missing?
