OTG physical mouse doesn't work on right side of screen in landscape mode for many apps

I have an **Oppo A18**. When I am using a physical mouse through OTG, I can't scroll or select when the cursor is on the right side of the screen in browsers and various apps/games. I have seen the same issue posted in Android app/game-specific threads by people with different make/model phones. In native Android apps, I am able to use the full screen. But it's clear there is some compatibility issue with apps made for Android being able to use OTG properly.
It's not exactly 50% of the screen, which makes me think OTG input is not quite recognising that the phone is in landscape mode and only using the width available in portrait mode, but on the left side only.
I am unable to scroll on the right side of the screen using OTG in landscape mode in any situation where I should be able to and I am unable to click on the right side of the screen when connected to a local server in AVNC and RealVNC. I was unable to click the right side of the screen in both Minecraft and Roller Coaster Tycoon Classic but now these both appear to be working. I tried a handful of random games when I got this phone that had the same issue but cant remember what games they were.
Two notable free apps this can be tested on include Opera (v88.3.4661.83672) and Chrome (v135.0.7049.100).
To be clear, the cursor can go on the right side of the screen, but I can't left/right-click or scroll. Hovering over something registers and displays hover text.
Has anyone known of a fix?

I am trying to play a game on my Tab, downloaded an app called Panda Mouse Pro that lets you set keymaps to any game and then the game can be played with keyboard and mouse attached to the tab itself. But now I want to mirror the Android screen to the PC and use the PC's peripherals (audio as well) to control the Android, that way I can enjoy the game on a big screen. Yes, I know emulators exist, but my PC is not powerful enough to handle one of those.

I was thinking get a gadget that does USB-C to USB-A and USB-C... Where the USB-C would be for charging and the USB-A would be for a hub for the quoted keyboard and mouse.

My friend isn't tech-savvy and asked me to save his Android tablet. However, the problem is - the screen works but no longer registers touch, so in the current state, no internal setup can be performed with no input. Now we are both wondering how to set up the tablet for running e.g. calendar. We need to somehow connect an external device for input which requires no setup from the tablet.
I know there is Anydesk for remote control of a device, but it needs to be installed on both to work. Not to mention Android isn't designed for keyboard nor mouse input.
Is it possible to force a mouse connection on the tablet? Is connection to the mouse through the computer feasible? Any advice?

How to simulate mouse hover on web browsers?
I'm having problems with websites where the only way to access a page is by hovering over a menu. Is there any way of doing that in Android? Maybe an app which allows the screen to be used as if a touchpad on a laptop?

My Samsung Galaxy A24 phone used to work fine with my Windows 10 laptop via scrcpy.exe, on a USB-C cable. I did not change anything in the setup. Suddenly, now scrcpy shows the phone's screen fine on the laptop's screen, but mouse clicks have no effect, both left-click and right-click. How do I fix this? What I have tried is:
- Restart the phone;
- Pull out the USB cable cable and connect again.
- Revoke USB debugging permissions;
- Turn off and then on USB debugging. To no avail.
Still, mouse clicks do nothing, whereas the phone's screen is shown fine, and directly touching the phone's own screen with the finger works as expected.

Where does Android ICS store the cursor graphic?
If you plug in a mouse to an Android device, a cursor shows up. I was wondering where that cursor graphic is stored? I'm a root user and want to know in case I wanted to modify it in the future.

I have a HUAWEI P30 Lite with a broken screen, and I'm attempting to save my data. I've connected an external USB keyboard and mouse, as well as inserted an SD card for backup. However, I'm encountering issues when trying to interact with the device.
I can navigate the menu but face problems when I try to select options, such as initiating a backup or toggling settings like Bluetooth. When I encounter a Toggle-Button or a Link-Button (the ones with an arrow on the right), pressing "Enter" on the keyboard or clicking with the mouse doesn't produce any response.
Is there a special shortcut or workaround to effectively interact with these kinds of buttons and do my data backup?

My screen stopped working. Both display, and touch. I can connect it to a dongle with HDMI and USB ports.I get the display out, as seen below. When I connect mouse or keyboard, I get the "device connected" sound. But no matter what I press, drag or click, it doesn't seem to make a difference, phone stays locked.
I didn't have an option to unlock my phone using accounts.samsung.com enabled on that device, something I regret, but can't fix now.
If it matters, I unlock using the symbol method. I have a face unlock enabled, too, but I lost about 23kg / 50lbs and it stopped to recognize my face. I was "just about to" re-record it. Another thing I should've done to save me from being in this situation, but didn't and can't fix now.
I need to unlock it in order to migrate Google Authenticator and Signal to my new phone. It can only be done with QR code. I would also gladly retrieve newest messages, but only the Authenticator and Signal are things that I would be seriously inconvenienced loosing, everything else I have backed up in more than one place already, or is not that important.

By default, it works like "natural scrolling", where moving your fingers down on the touchpad causes content to scroll up. I prefer content to scroll down as I move my fingers down.

I am toying with making a multi-screen Android 11 device. I managed to start a different app on each screen, using
am start -n --display
. Also, I found a launcher, which is capable of starting apps on a screen of my choice.
But only one of the screens is a touch screen, and I am trying to use a mouse for the other (or preferably both) screens. Sadly, the mouse is limited to the first screen, which is also the touch screen. So I have two input devices on the first screen, and none on the second one.
How do I assign the mouse to the second screen? Is there any way to use the mouse on both screens?

I imagine it would be a bluetooth mouse, but I want to know even if I could connect the bluetooth device whether it would correctly drive the cursor on the tablet.
Example vendors/products would be appreciated.
