Hello I have a Samsung s22 ultra which used to work completely fine till one UI 7 update after that I was screen recording when the mini thing which shows timer of screen recording and pause button disappeared then I couldn't find my screen recording in the gallery but I found it in my files saved as a .pending file and it also shows the video occupies around 1gb space but it's unplayable.
Then I lost hope and screen recorder worked fine for a few days and then again the problem started and screen recording saved as .pending but it showed it occupied around 600mb space but it didn't play and then it happened several times btw I had enough storage my phone is 12gb ram and 512gb room variant I had more than 150gb free space also I had enough battery and everything else was working fine.
Someone please help me I really need those screen recorded files. Please anyone provide a working solution about how to get that video back. It's been some days now I even restarted my phone still it didn't work also it's up to date and no malicious software is present it's not rooted or something too just everything is normal.

Videos won't play after transfer to SD card
I'm using Samsung Galaxy S10e on Android 12. I took several screen recordings using the native function. Moved many to SD card using "Files by Google" app. Moved them separately in groups of 1-3. Some of them are playable, some are not. As pictured, the ones with blank thumbnails are unplayable. [

I'm using a Samsung Galaxy Tab S9. Mostly, I use it for video recording for educational purposes, and it involves screen recording of my PPTs and PDFs from which I teach. I have set my screen recording quality to full HD.
But still, whenever I record the screen, my tablet optimises it heavily and gives me a little blurry video like 480p. The iPad gives me a full HD version of the video, but Samsung doesn't.
So, is there anything that I'm missing, or is there any alternative option to record my screen in real full HD? Please help.

The default "Screen Record" button from the dropdown menu on my Huawei P40 magically vanished a few days ago.
I checked Reddit for a solution and found others having the same problem without a solution. I updated the phone to v12 Kernel software. The recorder icon is still missing and the old screenshot button has a screenshot/scrollshot dropdown. After an hour, I found that I could roll back to v10 Kernel, but I don't know yet if it will restore the icon.
I first need to backup 116GB on my phone which is a huge inconvenience. I may back up my phone, do a rollback, and find the icon is still not restored.
Please help.

I tried casting Xiaomi Poco X3 to my Windows 10 and Windows 11 but it doesn't work. When I try to do that, I got this message.
Other smartphones can do that just fine. I tried the solution mentioned on [Reddit thread](https://www.reddit.com/r/PocoPhones/comments/k5t1nc/screen_cast_does_not_seem_to_work_on_x3_nfc/) but not helping.
I wonder what I should do.
Note: I ended up using Airdroid and some alternatives. It's working fine. So I wonder why something that worked fine with Airdroid doesn't work with official companies.
Note: I tried again with another software called Miracast 4k the result is the same
Other phones work just fine

How can I manage to circumvent the whole block?
Does it relate only to Android or every system?
I want to record on the device itself and not with another device.

Is there any way to mirror the screen to the TV from USB-C to HDMI (I have an adapter) of the TV? In particular, I'm interested in a solution for Xiaomi and TV that does not have Wi-Fi. Xiaomi screen casting in setting looks like it works only via Wi-Fi. If it's an app, preferably open source, or at least no registration and minimum of ads.

Recently, I have been looking for ways to cast my phone screen to AndroidTV. I found a way with Android's built-in thing for screen casting and all worked well.
Now, since I'm not a fan of the idea of looking for Bluetooth keyboard and mouse, I am interested to know if it's possible to attach a mouse and a keyboard to the AndroidTV (where the screen is being casted from the phone) and for it to work on my phone.
Cause the AndroidTV has USB ports, I want my phone screen shown on the TV but it doesn't make much sense if I have to look at my phone for everything.

One problem is happening with one TV model is that it says that screencast is not enabled and therefore, WebKey is not able to get video from the screen.
**Is it possible to enable this option from ADB (eg. modifying some configuration file)?**
I have been looking around the filesystem and trying with "getprop", "settings" but could not find a possible solution or workaround. I have also tried using scrcpy and it works fine using ADB over Ethernet in the same LAN (both video and control works ok).

I have an another device with Lineage OS 14.1 (7.1.2) where the Display -> Cast option works properly. But its not working with the Lenovo K8.
I guess google removed the cast support in Nougat for Miracast so users would be forced to use their Chromecast device.
Is there a way to make the cast option to work with Lenovo K8.

I want to cast my mobile screen to an LED monitor which has an HDMI port using Miracast . The device is not purchased, But the testing is done by an Android TV now.
If the mobile is in landscape mode, the monitor will be filled with the mobile screen content. But I need to use the monitor in portrait mode permanently with the mobile also in portrait mode. Is there any way to rotate the casted content by -90 degrees?
**Mobile content**
**Actual result in monitor**
**Required result in monitor**
I am using two mobile phones for casting with the Google home application
**1. Lenovo P2 (Android 7)**
**2. LG Q6 (Android 8.1)**
Also while testing the mirroring, I felt there is a delay appears in the TV. Also, the text is blurred on the screen.
Note: I can see some similar questions are there, but nothing seems helpful.

I want the opposite of screen mirroring, from android tv box to smartphone.
Reason I want remote control apps on android tv box with smartphone but avoid over the air streaming.
The android tv box is rooted and connected via ethernet LAN port to my home network.
Google TV and other screen cast apps require wifi enabled on tv box (which is disabled). I prefer solution over TCP/IP. scrcpy can control over adb which works on tcpip too, but it's for PC. Therefore I am fine with middle solution control PC from smartphone + control tv box from PC
What can I do?

WiFi direct finds the device, I am also able to send videos with sound from Nexus to it (as well as from a Windows 10 pc). However if I start the "Cast screen" from Nexus, it says "No devices available"; also when I invoke screen mirroring app on the TV, WiFi direct loses it.
I've tried about dozen playstore apps with no avail, including Chromecast, Mirror beta, Wifi display, Wireless display (Miracast) and others, all of them failed in different ways.
Presumably it will work with additional hardware like Chromecast, what I want to know is whether it is supposed to work as is, and if yes, why does not it work.
I found some similar questions here, they are about some different hardware/software combinations. Is there a known common problem?
