I had purchased a game on Google Play but later I realized that it was too bad, so I requested a refund. I've received a refund email from Google but I haven't received my money back. Is that a problem? When I opened the Payment History page, it writes *Canceled* next to that game. I purchased that game using my phone bill.

I purchased a few apps a few years ago, and my credit card expired a long time ago. So, if I close my payment profile on Google Play, will I still be able to install the apps I purchased?

I have kids, they have their Android tablets, and I have a credit card. I have created Google accounts for them, each for one tablet. I want to buy apps for them, but I don't want to enter any details of my credit card into their Google accounts, because the theory is that they will be using these accounts in the future to communicate, browse, etc. I don't want them charging my card without my knowledge. A while ago, when buying something in the Google Play Store, I was able to select between one of the tablet accounts and my own account. I then had to enter the password to my own account and was able to install the given app. Now this seems no longer to be possible. Is there a way of buying apps for my kids that is safe?

These older apps won't meet the requirement of targetSdk >=23 from Android 14: * Minesweeper Pro (com.xxstudio.minesweeperpro): Target SDK 3 * CopyPasteKeyboard Unlocker (com.crane.keyboard.unlock) which is an unlocker for CopyPasteKeyboard (com.crane.keyboard): Both have target SDK 4 * Guess-Free Minesweeper (com.fstolt.minesweeper): Target SDK 8 * Call Log Backup And Restore Pro (com.riteshsahu.CallLogBackupRestorePro): Target SDK 21 As the apps are paid apps, it's going to be hard for me to get them in APK format for me to use --bypass-low-target-sdk-block in order to install them on Android 14. So is there any way for me to install such apps on Android 14?

My device was damaged and since then I've had to order a hardware replacement. Given that all purchases and application installs/uninstalls via Google Play Store are carried out in connection with my Google account, I would like to know whether there is a way to: 1. How can I view a list of apps I purchased, perhaps arranged in reverse chronological order according to purchase date? WHen I go to My apps on the Android Google Play Store applications, I don't see the apps I paid for which were on my old device (same Google account). 2. I paid for an app from the Google Play Store some years ago. I have been using it successfully up to yesterday. Today, I tried to use it and it complained I wasn't licensed and redirected me to the Play Store app. However, that just gives an error "Something went wrong", or "Try again". The Play Store app still lists the app as being installed. All my other paid-for apps appear unaffected. After some testing, I worked out that the app seems to have been deleted from the Store. I have emailed the author and am waiting for a response. If I don't get a response, are there options to recover the use of the app?

To thank the developer on Steam you can repeatedly buy games as gifts or remove them from the account and re-buy them again (I think it still works). How to do a similar thing on Google Play Store?

I recently discovered that on my new phone (the old one died suddenly because of eMMC failure) some purchased apps are no longer on Google Play. They are **not** incompatible with device; they are not listed at all. I have some old backups by Helium Backup, but I am 100% sure that newer versions were released. Is it somehow possible to download these apps? Most of them I purchased, but I can't find them even in "Library". I contacted their respective developers, but got no answer at all...

Are Google Checkout coupons redeemable on Google Play? I've created a coupon on Google Checkout for a paid Android App on Google Play but when trying to buy it as a user, I can't find the place to enter it. On one device I saw a "Redeem" option along with the credit card but when I entered my coupon code, it returned an error message. Is there any way to make this work?

I upgraded the family tablet from a HUDL2 to a Teclast P20HD. In the HUDL (Android 4.4.2) when I bought/installed new apps I was given the option to share them with other (restricted) users on the tablet. When I clicked on the user in the user settings, I got a list of installed apps that could be enabled/disabled for each user (my kids). This system was simple and effective. With the Teclast (Android 10) I only have the option to add and delete users. No app control whatsoever. I setup a Google account for my youngest (5yo) which I can manage through family Link (as I do with my older child's devices) but then there is no way to share apps from my own Google account to his (the family library feature is only for teenagers and won't cover the apps I've already purchased anyway). I have purchased dozens of kids apps over the last couple of years and I obviously want these available in my son's account. I tried sharing apps with the Family Link feature inside the play store app on my account, but of the 100+ apps I've purchased, only 19 got shared. I tried adding a second Google account from inside my son's tablet user space (my own Google account, so I could get the apps again on the play store with my credentials), but it won't let me; expecting all further accounts inside that user to be my kid's school accounts and such. So I'm stuck. Is it possible to get the kids apps I have purchased into my son's user space on this tablet? If not, is it possible with some other tablet (I could send this one back and get something different) or is the KitKat way of things now deprecated and I'm stuck with having to re-purchase hundreds of pounds of kids apps?

I recently downloaded an app for free from Google play store. It usually costs $0.99, but is now free. If I were to delete it, will google remember that I purchased it, even though I paid nothing? Can I delete it now, and install it later without purchasing it? Thanks in advance!

I have multiple account logged in my google play store and I have different app purchased from different account. My all purchase from one account got restored(the one which who logged in first in my play store) and unable to restore the other app purchase . When I try to restore the purchase of app I get purchasing option from another account other than from the account purchased earlier.

Few hours ago I bought an app on Google Play Store that I don't need at a moment, but it looked handy and was on sale. I have installed it, fiddled with it for a few minutes and then uninstalled it. As soon as it finished uninstalling, I got an email that my order was cancelled and refunded. The app isn't in my library anymore and I can buy it again. I don't remember it happening previously when I uninstalled apps just after buying, so it looks like this automatic cancellation was introduced recently. (Or perhaps it's configured per app by developer?) - **Can I opt out of this feature and not get refunds automatically?** - Is there any official statement from Google that such feature was enabled?

For example, the application Say it right! is using the Forvo third-party service. I guess the app can stop working eventually (for example if the API changes, or if the third-party service terms change) Are paid apps purchased from the Google Play store supposed to work for lifetime? **Edit**: The previous example costs 1 euro, and obviously if it stops working that would be no big deal. But the same applies for apps that cost 20 euros or more. I wouldn't be happy if an expensive app stops working after 3 months, and I'm curious if Google has a policy for this on its Play store.

Would it be possible for an entry to be installed on the menu that shows up when I highlight a word, so that I can look up the word on a dictionary, for example from an installed app such as Merriam-Webster dictionary. The app could show the definition inside a bubble. If course, the installed app would have to support this, and install the behavior onto the operating system UI. Google Play Store recently got updated in my device to v11.8.xx. I'm used to buying paid apps gone free (PAGF) [free for a limited time]. In v11.7.xx or earlier, if I bought a PAGF, the view used to change from image 1 to image 2, as shown below. In v11.7.xx, even if the offer period was over, or a new offer period emerged I would always used to get Image 2, which visually confirmed me that I already owned the app, and I needed not to install it. I also tried setting immutable bit onto its APK (v11.7.xx) but it didn't work for me. I know, I can go to Account → Order History, but finding an app out of 100s of owned paid app is not efficient and is quite irritating too. I'm using a stock and rooted Android 7.1.1 on a Nexus 6 with Xposed Framework.
