Netflix and Hulu have both apps for the Samsung Gear VR headset, but Amazon Video doesn't have an app. So my question is, is there any way to watch Amazon Video on Samsung Gear VR? I tried going to the Amazon Video website on the Samsung Internet VR web browser, but when I click an episode it just tells me to download the "Amazon Underground" app, which is a non-VR app for watching Amazon Video on the Samsung Galaxy S7. Also, I tried clicking "request computer version" in the Samsung VR browser, to trick the site into thinking that I'm on a computer, but then Amazon just displays a message that your browser is not supported. Is there any way to change the user agent of the Samsung VR browser to something which makes Amazon play the video?

Amazon Video download location
Amazon Video now allows you to download certain titles from their library but you have to use their video player. Does anyone know where those files get downloaded to on your phone?

Fooling a tablet into thinking it's a phone so that Amazon Prime streaming will work

This relates to question: https://android.stackexchange.com/questions/17689/using-amazon-instant-video-from-amazon-prime-on-non-kindle-device However things have moved on since then. [Amazon have now released a version of their Amazon app for use on non-Fire Android phones](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.amazon.mShop.android&hl=en) , and indeed streaming of Amazon Prime is now possible. However the [Tablet Amazon app](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.amazon.windowshop) does not have this functionality, even though it is running the same Android OS version (as the scores of negative reviews on the app will testify!) There doesn't seem to be a way to install the Mobile Android app onto a Tablet. It appears that they only allow Amazon Prime to be used from their own Kindle Fire Tablet. Is there any way I can fool my tablet (Nexus 7) into thinking it is a phone so that I can install the Phone version of the Amazon app and therefore enable Amazon prime streaming?

I'm running the latest updates for my Logitech Revue (according to the check for updates screen), but when I go to the Amazon Instant Video app, it just redirects me to Chrome. Amazon doesn't support HD in the browser, so I can only watch SD videos. When I try to play HD videos, Amazon says, I must use a supported device, which the Logitech Revue is, and that I must register it. Its instructions to register it say to open the "Amazon Video" app on the device, then go to "register device". As mentioned, my app (named "Amazon Instant Video") just redirects to Chrome. I called Amazon, and they said it sounds like I'm running "google tv version 1.0". Since my "firmware" says 3.2 and i apparently have the latest updates, I'd guess that I'm not. Amazon support says only Google tv v2.0 has the application w/ HD. Any ideas what I'm missing here?

(Galaxy Nexus with MHL adapter) AFAIK, Amazon does not support HD streaming in the browser; this would require a native app. Google Play does support this, but I haven't been able to find anything about Amazon. (other than Flash streaming, which I don't think will do HD)

Using Amazon Instant Video from Amazon Prime on Non-Kindle device
I have an Asus EEE Transformer, and am contemplating an Amazon Prime membership. One of the nice features is streaming video. You can play it on computer, TV/DVD/BluRay that support it, or Kindle. Is there anyway to play on plain Android, like my Transformer?

Do I have to download the movie again, if I rented it and it expired?
Once a movie I have rented from the AppStore has expired, and I wish to rent it again, do I have to download it again? Or can I just pay the additional charge and keep watching the file that's already on my device?
