If not, are there any alternative RDP clients for Mac OSX that will allow me to go full screen? (I'm not really a VNC fan, in any of its forms) It seems a shame to waste my screen real estate, especially since I am on only a 13" screen.

Do you know any kiosk app that will give the same functionality? I've tried several with no success, getting 403 error immediately.

I have configured my wireless airport extreme to use client mode (hint: if this is not available in "manual configuration", start the assistent and it will appear in the menu ...).
This is working fine and I can access APX via my default wireless connection. However, I have a few systems attached to the LAN ports and these are not accessible.
I read that the APX is disabling the LAN ports in this configuration (why?) - is that true? Someone knows a way to have this configuration running in bridge (or routed mode, I don't care ...) mode?
Thanks a lot

I'm trying to organize a club/business and would like to send the same text to my clientele.
I do not want individual recipients to see who else is a recipient, as most clients don't know each other. This implies I also don't want recipients to see other recipients's replies and that they would ideally go to me. Not being able to reply at all is not a deal breaker.
If such a feature exists directly in the iPhone/on my Mac, can somebody explain how to implement it/link me to a previous question? If the feature doesn't exist, can I get suggestions for 3rd party applications or websites to send texts so clients don't have their numbers shared? I've been searching for a couple hours, and nothing featuring recipient anonymity has popped up.
Thank you.
**EDIT: PLEASE READ**
Thank you for the suggestions thus far, but I am not looking for any messaging medium besides text. If the feature or application does not apply to what we consider texts received on a phone, it's not what I'm looking for.

"Remote Desktop Client" updated, but NOT installed
I just purchased a used iMac yesterday. Today, the app store updated "Apple Remote Desktop Client". I can not find an app called that in my app folder. Could it be hidden? Could this be used to 'spy' or grab info from my Mac? [![Update from App Store][1]][1] [1]: https://i.sstatic.net/AAJJ4.png

I just bought a Mac mini to use as our office server (Yosemite).
How can I **search the shared folders with Spotlight from my client** iMac?
I tried to connect via SMB and AFP (Go > Connect to Server > afp://192.168.178.44). I tried to use Mavericks (my iMac) and my MacBook Air with 10.10 installed.
When I use Spotlight on the server itself, Spotlight will find my test file. The files I am searching for are on a new partition (/Volumes/HD2/dir/sharedfolder/).
I even have added Spotlight as user user and group to my shared folder (Icon with one person and two persons on it).
mdutil -s /Volumes/* (from a client terminal) says
/Volumes/team:
Server search enabled.
Hope for some help :-) I bought an OSX server because just of Spotlight. Before we used a NAS and needed a better search.

We want to block Apple Remote Desktop clients because they can't comply with the policy. Here, block means drop the network connection before the client attempts to provide credentials.
Is there a way to reliably detect Apple Remote Desktop (ARD) clients?

My Airport Utility's (version 5) DHCP Clients list used to show the DHCP Client ID for each client, as defined for each connection in System Preferences/Network.
I then went and changed the "Computer Name" of my Mac Pro using System Preferences/Sharing. I changed it from "xxxxxxx's Mac Pro" to "xxxxxxxx".
Now, Airport Utility's DHCP Clients list shows the Computer Name instead of the DHCP Client ID, for each client.
I found that AU will show DHCP Client IDs if I make the Computer Name 16 characters long, one of which is a "-" or a space. I can make the name anything - as long as it's 16 characters long with a "-".
What is going on here? Surely, lots of computers have names shorter than 16 chars? Is AU showing DHCP Client IDs for them?
I'm using OS X 10.5.6 and Airport Utility 5.4.2. Please don't say I should update.
Please do let me know If your Airport Utility correctly shows DHCP Client IDs, AND your Computer Name is shorter than 16 characters (and what versions you are using.)
Thanks

We are an all-Mac shop (well, actually, a mostly-Mac shop - we have some Linux servers running behind the scenes). We do web applications development and our files and source code is all hosted in-house.
Our Mac-toting consultants would like to connect to the office to access files (AFP to shared volumes), update source code (subversion over HTTP/HTTPS), and demo software (HTTP through a browser) when they are on a client site.
Traffic will be light. We are a small company (and cheap), and do not expect more than 3 or 4 people to be connected concurrently. However, we need the solution to be reliable. Many of our clients and consultants are abroad.
Which VPN Server Hardware is best for this scenario? I would prefer something that uses standard protocols - I understand that L2TP, PPTP and Cisco IPsec are built in to the OS - so something that uses these protocols will be ideal. (I have seen quite a few VPN solutions that have horrible, buggy, and badly supported client software). An added bonus would be support for iPads as well.
Naturally, I would like it to not be too expensive (I told you we are cheap), though what I really mean is that I am far more willing to pay for reliability and built-in support, than for features I do not need.

Fast e-mail client for OS X?
I'm currently using Thunderbird for my e-mail needs on OS X. I manage 4 different e-mail accounts, one of which receives a lot of e-mail per day. As the messages pile up, I notice that Thunderbird is getting more sluggish. Is there an alternative that handles large volumes of e-mail efficiently?
