I can't seem to find an option for this in Safari and also cannot seem to find anything in the app store. Does anyone know if there is a way to get web clip widgets in the Notification panel?

Also Apple's "dashboard widget" directory hasn't been updated in 10+ years. So that's useless. I'm looking for a simple little widget that will give me current conditions and a 7+ day forecast. Nothing complicated. But it is really useful and it's a bummer not having it.

Did Apple remove Dashboard on OS Catalina? If not, where can I find it? Thanks a lot! Edit: Seems like dashboard is removed from OS Catalina (thanks to the comment linking to other similar questions!), **Is there any way to put dashboard widgets on desktop like it's shown in this video ?** UPDATE: **Is there a way to get the Converter Tool somehow?** (the widget that can convert currency, length, pressure, weight all in one!) Recommendation of similar Apps is welcomed too!

How to recover dashboard stickies on macOS Catalina?
According to the article [Apple Confirms Dashboard is Going Away After 14 Years](https://www.macrumors.com/2019/06/13/goodbye-dashboard/), dashboard has been removed within macOS 10.15, Catalina. I had some Stickies with information stored in dashboard and I would like to recover it if possible.

In the past week or so Apple's language translation widget (which uses SYSTRAN for translation) has stopped working, and in searching for a replacement widget I noticed that a lot of former widget developers have now abandoned support for their widgets, citing Apple's lack of support for Dashboard itself. Are there any announcements or plans by Apple regarding the future of Dashboard? UPDATE (2-Aug-2017) - The Translation widget now seems to have been fixed, after a few weeks of being broken. It's not clear whether this was an Apple problem or a SYSTRAN problem. The above question still stands though - does Dashboard have a future ? UPDATE (2-Nov-2017) - I just upgraded to High Sierra (10.13.1) and while Dashboard is still very much alive, the Translation widget has now completely disappeared ! UPDATE (15-Oct-2019) - With the release of Catalina, the Dashboard is **now officially removed** from OSX. Mojave (10.14) was the last version of OSX with dashboard support.

That's it. On my MacBook Pro the dashboard is stuck. I can't click the arrow in the bottom right corner, clicking more widgets doesn't do anything, clicking the safari icon on web clip opens safari but doesn't show it. Pressing he pause button does the same thing with iTunes. I can do command tab and see that, right now, google chrome, Safari, and iTunes are open right now (as well as finder, duh) but I can't actually switch to those. The force quit keyboard shortcut doesn't seem to do anything. Closing the cover and opening up a bit after doesn't do anything. I want a solution that doesn't require restarting the computer so that I don't have to wait for so long in the future. What can I do? I can't tell anything about software, I think it's Yosemite or Mavericks but I am not sure.

I want to be able to see my appointments at a glance in the Dashboard, not just a static calendar with a clock. I am "stuck" on the desktop. Clicking the dashboard icon does nothing, I cannot use the 4-finger swipe gestures to move to or view the dashboard or any application windows in fullscreen (yes, I have checked system preferences, it's on), and the function key that usually allows me to see fullscreen windows+the dashboard+other desktops does nothing. I have tried shutting my computer, quitting everything and restarting. If I open another fullscreen window, I am stuck there until I close or un-maximize it. This has happened before and it went away after a minute or two, but it's sticking around now. I have a MacBook Air running on Mac OS El Capitan. How can I solve/prevent this problem? UPDATE: It has started working again, but was stuck for much longer this time. This problem is continuing off and on.

Launchpad is useless compared to Spotlight or even the Dock. I'd much rather have the F4 key triggering Dashboard again, or even Notifications (which is really starting to come along). I have: - System Prefs / Mission Control / Keyboard and Mouse Shortcuts / Show Dashboard set to F4. - Syst Prefs / Keyboard / Keyboard / Use all F-keys as standard function keys unticked. - Syst Prefs / Keyboard / Shortcuts / Launchpad & Dock / Show Launchpad unticked. - Syst Prefs / Keyboard / Shortcuts / Mission Control / Show Dashboard set to F4.
