Possible hacking of my OnePlus6. Contacts disappearing under 'Speed dial'
The speed dial section in my One Plus 6, until now had a list of contacts who I used to call recently and/or contacts who I used to call on a frequent basis, never used to be a speed dial contact that I had manually added. But now, all of a sudden, it's empty.
What can be the reason? Is there a good chance my phone is hacked?
Can someone please me

On my Samsung Galaxy SIII when I view my contacts list in the Contacts application each contact entry has a list of small icons on the lower-right hand side corresponding to accounts where that contact is listed such as Skype, Google, WhatsApp, etc... as
shown on the following screenshot (contact pictures and names have been scribbled
out for privacy reasons, click to enlarge):
Above the list of account icons, for some contacts either a green circle with a white circumference or an orange circle with two white clock hands and a white circumference appears in the upper-right hand corner of the contact entry in the list. Obviously green means available, and orange means away, but I am unable to figure out which of the three applications Google, Skype, WhatsApp, other, or whichever this dot corresponds to. First I thought that if the green dot was above the skype icon, then the contact was available on skype, but the last time I checked one of my contacts was associated with only one account,
namely skype, but when I logged into skype the contact was offline.
Can someone please help me figure out what the green or orange dots in the upper-right hand corner of contact entries in the Contact application mean?
Thanks.

On iOS, as limited as it was, I could do two things that I can't figure out how to do in Android - htc one m8
1. When finding addresses in Google search or map, Google result page had an option to save a contact. That seems missing in Android. I can't figure out how to add an address from these results.
2. In ios, whenever I receive an address as plain text in email or sms or web page, I was able to long press and ios would give me option to add the info to a new or existing contact. I have no way of doing this in Android. I am forced to manually copy ever line to a contact.
Any suggestions to resolve this would be appreciated.

Unfortunately no longer have the option on Google maps to save contact, and I'm not sure I why Google removed that option. Maybe a different app would be an option, if anyone know one that would work? I have a Galaxy S5

If there isn't a way to do this currently, is there a shortcut to pull up the Contact record, where I can click to the map?

**Update:** Here's a screenshot of what I'm seeing (it took me a bit to figure out how to take it):
If it's any additional help, my contacts don't seem to sync properly, and I don't know why. When I go to *Settings > Accounts - Google > {My account}*, I see the "refresh" icon next to "Contacts." The last sync date for that item is older than all of the other items on the list. I've manually cleared the "Contacts Storage" data, and did a resync that way, but subsequent sync attempts seem to fail.

I was just wondering if anyone knows how to make contact icons on the home screen update their picture when the contact's picture is changed, without needing to delete the shortcut and recreate it. Can this be done? Make the contact-shortcut's picture "live" as it were?
e.g. some of my contacts are linked to Facebook and their pictures on their contact records sync as expected, but the shortcut on the home screen will still show whatever their picture was when the shortcut was created.
I thought maybe rebooting the phone would cause it to refresh the icons, but it didn't.
Running on a non-rooted Galaxy S Captivate.

Widget to immediately phone a specific contact?
I have a widget that places an icon of a specific contact on my home screen. Whenever I touch it, the phone immediately dials that person. Problem is - I already forgot what the widget is called (I'd like to install it on a new phone). Can you help me identify it?

I have a user with a Galaxy S2 running Android 4.0.4 complaining that after syncing with exchange his contact shortcuts have all been mixed up. For example a shortcut to his wife's contact when clicked now points to someone else entirely. The only solution is to delete and recreate the shortcuts each time he changes his password in exchange. Anyone else run into this very annoying bug?
Thanks for any assistance.
