I'm kind of new in Android and I realized that all the sounds are going out through the speaker regardless if the headphones are connected. If they are the sound also goes out through the headphones, but I'd also like to avoid the speaker when headphones connected. Is that possible? Few more information that may help: - My phone is a Samsung Galaxy i5510 - Its Android 2.2 Froyo - I've installed Tasker, maybe there is some way to make a profile to achieve what I want. Thanks, Diego **Update** As it wasn't to clear I'll clarify for each sound (if i forget any please let me know): - Phone calls: Speaker and headphones. - Notifications: Speaker and headphones. - Games and almost every app: Only headphones. (I wrote "almost every app" because, for example, Skype or Camera sounds in both speaker and headphones). - Keyboard and "touch clicks": Headphones. Summarizing the problem are: phone calls, notifications and some "random" apps.

I'm almost sure that there is no ClockWorkMod Recovery for my phone (I've been reading some questions and answer in the forum and also google it with this result . So when I installed ROM Manager the first thing I was asked to do was selecting my phone model which wasn't in the offered list. I want to do a NANDroid but I'm not sure how. In the question I read here I saw Odin, Amon-Ra and Heimdal. I really have no idea what this three tools / apps are and how to use them. What is each one of them? How can I make a NANDroid? I rooted my Samsung 551 with Android 2.3.6 to delete some useless apps such as Orkut, Midnight Bowling and Layar. In trying to delete the Layar app (from /system/apps) I couldn't find it there and there is no layar.apk file or even another file name with layar's icon. Is there another path where Layar is installed? Should I config something to find its de-installation path?

I've a Samsung Galaxy i551 with Android 2.2, not rooted and with stock rom. I'm having two volume issues (don't know if they have anything to do with each other): - When using the external speacker, not headphones, sometimes I have "normal" volume, but some other times even **max volume is *unhearable***. I really NEED to put the phone near my ear (like if it was the headphone) to be able to hear it. I think, not sure yet, after reboot it turns back to normally, but I don't know what makes it fail again. - When I'm listening music with the headphones **some times the volume just changes**. It is really crazy, I don't touch any key or the screen, don't even touch the phone and the volume cahnge. I have already checked and it's not because of the audio file if anyone was thinking so. It is like if the phone has two different volumes and change between them whenever it wants. I've been reading a lot of issues with the volume, but haven't get any luck yet. Has anyone had any of this problems? Solutions? Thanks! And its volume was actually very low. So when I'd that trouble again with some app (Navigation in this case) that should use the speaker (on the back of the phone) I realized that it was using the other speaker, and that's the problem. Who decides which speaker use each app or when is used each one? I e, my navigation app sometimes uses one and some other times uses the other.. Why?? Can we change it to force it? Please if someone understands this last paragraph it would be very helpful to edit it using the right terms that are unknown by me because english is not my native language and my phone isn't in english. Also the phone I had was stolen from me and now I bought a Samsung Galaxy Ace and again the same issues. So this is not an issue from my particularly phone or model, this is from Samsung or from Android. In the second case it is happening in FroYo and in Gingerbread!

Hello I have a Galaxy I5510 and I''ve reading about ROMS. I'd like to try CyanogenMod but my phone isn't in the list of supported phones , is there anything I can do? If not (which I assume) which ROM would you recommend? I'm looking to get extra functionality. If I don't like some ROM I installed I can uninstall it and go back to the default ROM or any other, right? Also, I'm kind of scared.. If I get to root my phone without troubles, can installing the ROM break it or my only risk is with the rooting?

When I send an email from my official exchange server, the person who receives it, whether through web access or through Outlook, gets the email with HTML coding! It is very embarrassing and I have searched for the solution in vain. How can I stop this behavior?

I own a brand new Samsung Galaxy I5510 (Android 2.2). Everything works fine and I really like the device. ## My problem is: ## Every time *Some times* I receive a message from a phone number that is not in my contact list, the phone continues receiving it every few hours. ## Facts I pointed out: ## - The time between those messages is not constant. - It never happened when the number was in my contact list. - Deleting the thread does not solve the problem. - The senders do not fool me and send the message again and again. - It seems to stop after a day or two. - restart of the phone does not solve the problem. - I am not sure if it really receives the message again or if it just copies the old one. Does anybody has an idea what could cause the described behavior? *Thank you!* **EDIT:** Another point why it is not likely to be a provider issue: I never received a duplicated message while the phone was turned off. Means: I never switched the phone on in the morning and received one or more such messages instantly. **EDIT 2:** I looked through all the phone log. It happened by now for two numbers.
