SingleDownload. sbl.bin NAND Write Start!! BcmCP.img FAIL! Complete(Write) operation failed. All threads completed. (succeed 0 / failed 1) Removed!! It started boot looping after it randomly got stuck and I took out the battery since I couldn't do anything at all. This is also the first time I'm flashing a phone. The rom was downloaded from sammobile because the ones from samsung-updates seem to have broken downloads.

I'm a newly arrived escapee from the iPhone Empire - I just got a Galaxy Ace and it seems better in all respects except one very important one for me... I used to use my iPhone to write / take notes etc, using an I-connex Bluetooth keyboard. But it looks like my Ace won't allow this keyboard to connect - it says it doesn't connect to HID devices. I've tried two different apps to try and fix this - BlueKeyboard JP (which only works with certain keyboards, not including mine) and Bluetooth Keyboard Easyconnect (which I think requires my phone to be rooted - at any rate, it doesn't work). I'd be very grateful for any suggestions how I can fix this, as it really makes the phone seriously less good than what I had before, given how I use it! Failing that I'd be very grateful if anyone could advise me if there is any version of Android that DOES allow HID devices to connect - and what phones run it.

The screen on my Samsung Galaxy Ace 4 broke (running Android 4.4) and I really, really wish to get all my photos and other data off it. The phone has a pattern lock screen as well as an additional PIN if the pattern is entered wrong. I've tried numerous methods: - I can turn my phone on, hear the startup sound, all the buttons work (even the two touch buttons for back and menu) - when I plug in my phone onto my PC, the device shows up but is empty - need to unlock the phone first. - Touch doesn't respond, so no vision and no touch => no way to normally unlock phone. - Galaxy Ace 4 does NOT support USB OTG, so plugging in a mouse to TRY to do something is out of the question as well. - I don't have USB debugging enabled - The device was never rooted - Maybe that is why I cannot get ADB to work either... - There are a few software solutions available that claim to be capable of unlocking your phone's screen through USB, or being able to get your data off your phone, but NONE of them support Galaxy Ace 4 explicitly. - I DO have Airdroid installed on the phone, but WiFi and other means of connectivity are turned off on the device and I know of no way to re-enable them with a broken screen - therefore Google's Android Device Manager was of no help At this point I feel I have tried everything. Is there anything else I can do? Screen replacement is roughly $100, and I don't care about this phone anymore as a device, I just want the data. Maybe it's possible to somehow connect a different screen (from a cheaper/older phone? Not just this exact model), it doesn't have to fit perfectly, it can even hang loose on a thread, I just need to unlock the device. Recently we can often hear in the news how governments hacked someone's phone (a captured terrorist or such), so is there literally any other way I could get into mine? I do know both the PIN and the pattern, and of course credentials to my Google account.

i have samsung galaxy ace, yesterday i rooted my phone and installed the link2sd application, everything was fine, today when i tried to install an application using market, the market just crashes while opening, i uninstall the app, and got the new apk from internet and install that, same happening with that, after i read a review on internet, that if the market app crashes, just clear the data from settings, i did the same, it was working fine, but when i clicked on Accept and Download button to install the app, the market again start crashing, do anyone have any idea why is this happening, is it because i rooted the phone and partitioned the SDCard and installed the Link2SD application yesterday, did anyone have faced this issue.

No Google Play Store on Samsung Galaxy Ace S5830
I have a phone, Samsung Galaxy Ace S5830, with an Android version of 2.2.1 Froyo. I do not have Google Play app on my phone. Can I install Google Play app with this specific Android version? If not, how can I do it? I just don't want to use the manufacturer's product. There must be a way.

It just stays on the boot logo (the one where Samsung GALAXY Ace is printed) and it never goes any further. Before my phone stopped working, I tried to install some "ClockWorkMod", and I guess I didn't follow the steps as I should've. I can access the recovery menu, but each time I tried to just wipe data/factory reset or wipe cache partition, it didn't help, so right now I'm stuck with a non-working phone. I can still put files on the SD card. I just don't know how to go back to the Gingerbread version I had before. So I'd like to know if anyone can offer a solution?

Will a higher class SD card reduce the risk of crashing my Galaxy Ace?

I was using my class 4 32GB SD card in my Samsung Galaxy Ace quite happily until I filled it up to a certain point (which point, exactly I'm afraid I can't find out and don't know). Once the SD card reached a certain percentage of its capacity (Somewhere in the >20GB used area) it started going into the "Sleep of death" bug, where it cannot be woken up after going into lock. I then deleted some non-essential stuff, and the phone worked with the card quite happily for about 20 minutes, when the card died. I haven't been able to revive the card on my PC or phone. My theory is that the processor in the Ace couldn't handle that much data on such a low-speed card, which would explain the sleep of death, but not the card failure. Is there any merit in this idea? Would a better class 32GB card have a chance of avoiding the sleep of death, or am I indulging in some wishful thinking? Apparently the problem is very widespread in Galaxy Aces (according to the manager of a phoneshop I brought it in to), and it seems to happen the Nexus One aswell. Any thoughts would be much appreciated.

I flashed my Samsung Galaxy Ace (GT-S5830) with the [Cyanogenmod 7.2](http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1543521) release, the install went fine without any errors. Powering the phone on shows a black screen with the word "ANDROID" in white, and it stays there. I left it alone for up to 30 minutes to humor the "may take up to 5 minutes" caveat. I [tried this answer](https://android.stackexchange.com/a/8173/15744) without success (broken link to PDA zip, the one I googled is obviously incorrect). Looking into this issue more, [this answer](https://android.stackexchange.com/q/7058/15744) also yields broken links. (_Seems a common issue for fast-paced firmware releases. . ._) I cannot seem to find a firmware for GT-S5830, which I could update via Odin. I can still power on into recovery mode, so installing from sd card is also possible, but I'm lost for what to install if the CMod did not work. *Edit: I had the phone reset by the store staff. I am a bit jaded that I could not install a nicer release on it, but hope to get this right next time!*

How do I auto arrange icons in the app menu?
My device is a Samsung Galaxy Ace / Cooper. It's running on Froyo. I want to auto arrange icons in the app menu. Is there a way to do this? Like auto arrange alphabetically? Is there a built-in function for doing this? Or an app on the market for the same purpose?

It has already happened some times before, but in those cases, taking out battery and putting back always solved the case. This time, it didn't. What's the possible reason and how can I fix it? (if that matters, the mini-USB end of the cable I use for the charger also has some issues, with only making proper contact in some certain positions)

Every app I use needs to be forced closed after less than 5 minutes. Even apps I haven't even opened [before]. I've turned off my phone and restarted it multiple times and nothing seems to work. Does this mean I have to do a factory reset?

I have a Galaxy Ace S5830. I tried using many different Jelly Bean and KitKat ROMs, and with each one (clean installs, without additional apps) my battery behaves weird. When the screen is turned on, even on the lowest brightness, it drains the battery very, very fast. I think with the screen turned on I can't get more than hour of battery life. But when the screen is off, I can, for example, listen to the music for hours and hours and battery behaves normal. And what is also interesting, whenever I go to Battery Stats, it shows Screen as 99% user, and sometimes it shows WiFi as 1%. EDIT: Important addition: When my battery gets drained and I put it to the charger, it gets fully charged for few minutes! I tried wiping battery stats before and after every ROM installation, tried using Battery Calibration app, but nothing helps! So what should I do to get my battery to behave normally?
