Phone: Xiaomi Mi Max 3, MIUI 11, Android 10. Using a custom ROM from xiaomi.eu. The start of the flood is captured in LogCat, it happens every single millisecond, and I'm suspecting some system component. Possibly that hwservicemanager which has a couple of entries right before the flood starts, plus the DB migration failure is about a SQL table named ThermalInfo. The migration gets into an infinite loop when it fails every time at the 24th step out of 27. However I can go only by what I see int he LogCat. Where is the path to to the Google Chrome sqlite database on Android?
It seems like the known methods for copying open tabs out of Android Chrome no longer work (a debug interface was removed) and I'd like to see if I can squeeze the open tabs from the sqlite database. Does anyone know where in the Android filesystem Google Chrome stores its database?

I am using 2 factor authentication through google authenticator and forgot to keep backup for one of the websites (cex.io). When I changed to new phone, I uninstalled Google authenticator from the old one. And now I am locked out of my account. I still have access to the phone and I have reinstalled google authenticator. Now in this situation, is there any possible way to recover the keys for two factor that were saved on my phone? Customer support for cex.io is very slow and I am not sure when they are going to disable two factor so that I can setup for my new phone. If it is relevant, I was using Redmi 1s from Xiomi.

I have a Samsung Galaxy S5 phone and use the native, built-in email app for two corporate/ActiveSync accounts. Recently something went wrong with the settings of one of the accounts, which caused my contacts to disappear. Removing the account and adding it back fixed that issue. Since the account syncs to the server (Outlook 365), I didn't think there would be any loss taking this approach. I was wrong. Evidently draft emails are not synced, and I lost several very important ones. I am desperately trying to find a way to recover the contents of these draft emails that disappeared. On the recommendation of a friend, I tried using a full-text search program (Astrogrep) to search the phone while connected to my computer, but the program wouldn't allow me to search the phone folders. I also tried using the Wondershare Dr. Fone DataRecovery program to recover messages, but this just keeps getting stuck at 99% during the scanning process (stayed there at least 30 minutes before I backed out) and doesn't bring any results. I've read in a few places that these emails might be stored in an SQLite database, but I'm not sure how to browse, search, or access this. I'm grasping at straws at this point, hoping there is some way to find the old draft emails in a file or database of the phone. I'm probably "moderate" when it comes to being tech savvy...so by now I'm looking for some good advice and step-by-step instructions from anyone who might know 1) if these drafts could still be in the phone and 2) how I can locate them to access the content. Thanks to anyone who can help!

Could be corruption on file db? I have one app called "Files" which I can check, and I see all files there. I can take pictures/videos, record voice etc, so that doesn't seem the problem. I think the issue is related to indexation of those things, I've tried re-scan with several apps, but none worked (media re-scan, rescan sd, etc) I don't want to factory reset at the moment so I'm looking for an alternative solution (maybe a path to where is the db, so I can delete files, or an app that can help me to re-index things [if is the case], or system access to assess the issue)

I'm trying to access the raw screentime data that Android tracks - located in /data/data/com.google.android.apps.wellbeing/databases/app_usage on my OnePlus 7 Pro. My problem is that the database only goes back a month's worth of records - presumably old records are deleted regularly to conserve space. I considered doing a full disk dump and attempting some type of data recovery, but I'm unsure of exactly what to do - given that it isn't full files that are deleted, just SQLite records, I don't know if conventional data recovery tools would easily find anything. I also tried running [undark](https://github.com/witwall/undark) on a copy of the database to see if I could get anything out of it, but as I suspected nothing new was found. Are there any known methods or tools for recovering the deleted SQL records (assuming they haven't been overwritten) from disk, preferably without doing a full-disk dump? I can provide more information if necessary.

I have a 780 MB msgstore.db WhatsApp file that I recovered when my phone data was corrupted ( from the available image - data recovery software).
now the issue is that I have the UN encrypted msgstore.db file available and the encrypted files that is dbcrypt or whatever they go by - those were not recoverable
when I open this 780 MB file with a SQL lite reader I can browse the database so it is not corrupt.
I have yet another 580 MB msgstore.db which is corrupt and the desktop software cannot read. this is the original file that I recovered from the corrupted image and I had hoped to restore this very file after i wiped my data and Re installed Stock ROM
after wiping and new ROM installation WhatsApp went to the cloud ( Google Drive)
and created A 380 MB msgstore.db this file has a lot of my chats missing
so here are my questions please help me I am stranded without WhatsApp for the last two weeks
-- even though msgstore.db can be read on my desktop , if I remove 380 MB msgstore.db & put the 780mb msgstore.db in /data/data/com WhatsApp/data bases and clear cache , WhatsApp gives a message that it has trouble reading my chats please wait while it tries to restore and then it will look for the DB crypt files.
- read about WhatsApp xtractor if I use this Python based bat script & extract messages as HTML from the 580 MB and 780 MB files, **how can I import them back to WhatsApp so that my chat is restored** .
-also read a method of merging > 2 msgstore.db files. but seeing the fact that a non corrupt 780mb file got rejected , is this a viable option

I would guess, that if I clear the database the issue is gone. Still, I don't want to lose my contacts. I have a backup but that's old enough to say that I would lose some. I'm convinced that the file is still there and I can probably just open it as sqlite file once I gain access but I have no clue on how to achieve this. Trying to work with the com.android.providers.contacts package in adb always leaves me with "package not debuggable". My Phone is a non-rooted Moto G5 Plus running Android 8.1 Is there a way to backup my contacts or are they gone? Also: Can I maybe just remove the *.db-shm file that seems to be the problem here? As far as I remember that's only some temp file for sqlite anyways.

When I read documentation such as examining SQLite 3 databases from a remote shell I get the impression an SQLite command-line binary should exist on my phone. Sadly I can't seem to find it on my phone (but I'm running a custom ROM). I've read a few other posts that either allude to the existence of such a binary or mention how it is only available in the emulator, but there is nothing definitive. Is such a binary available anywhere? I used this to get all emails on inbox (on android shell or through tasker running a shell command): sqlite3 /data/data/com.google.android.gm/databases/mailstore.YOUREMAIL@gmail.com.db "SELECT fromAddress || '@|@' || dateSentMs || '@|@' || Subject || '@|@' || snippet FROM messages m LEFT JOIN message_labels ml ON m.messageId = ml.message_messageId JOIN labels l ON l._id = ml.labels_id WHERE l.name = '^i' ORDER BY m.dateReceivedMs DESC;" However, since I changed to a new device with android 7 (first emui 5.1 and then LineageOS 14.1), it doesn't work. Analyzing Gmail database with Sq lite dB reader, I found out that mailstore.YOUREMAIL@gmail.com.db file doesn't exist anymore. I checked the available db files but non of them seem to contain inbox info... Does anybody now how to get inbox now? Regards,
