Although there's nothing nefarious about my whereabouts, I do not wish the admin of my corporate account to know where my phone spends its evening. Is there a way to disable "Find my device" for just one account? I see the "Device Finders" -> "[On/Off]" switch. However that seems to control both accounts at once.

Creating WhatsApp account
Can I create a WhatsApp account using my old phone number, which I don't have with me currently? I lost my phone and cannot renew my SIM card due to some difficulties, and many of my contacts have my number, which I don't have access to.

On Account Settings, cannot delete 2nd Facebook account with a bunch of numbers only
I have a Samsung Galaxy A35 5G phone with Xfinity Mobile. Why does my phone show a 2nd Facebook account in my Settings-Accounts? I have the normal one, and then the 2nd one shows a bunch of numbers only. I delete it and will check back later, and most of the time it's showing again.

I'm using a Samsung Galaxy S2. A mate recently used my mobile Facebook app to log into his account. Now, I always get his email as the default when I go to log in to the Facebook on Android app. Although not a big issue, it is very frustrating. - I have deleted data and cache from App Settings, no go. - I have removed the account from the Account settings, no go. - I have set up another Gmail account for the Play Store and downloaded it through there. Still no change. - When I press down on the email address whilst on the login page, there is no option to remove the address. Please help as this is so frustrating.

I wondering if there's a browser that I can use Google websites in, such that Google will think I am logged in from a plain Linux device (f.e. like a Linux laptop). Or perhaps there is a way to spoof it in Android such that Google will not see me as logged into an Android device. The reason I want this is because whenever I log into a Google **website** in an Android browser (without logging into Google at the Android OS level, i.e. without a Google account in the Android OS), Google adds this device to my Security Settings, and forces me to use push-based 2-step verification as described here (with video): https://security.stackexchange.com/questions/280192/which-android-browser-can-i-use-so-that-google-will-not-force-push-mfa and this Google Issue report: https://issuetracker.google.com/issues/389946229 As you can see from those links, the unwanted push-based 2-step verification locks me out from accessing passwords (and any other settings) on all other devices because my Android device will never receive a push notification prompt. (It is literally impossible to receive a prompt if I did not log into a Google account at the Android OS level!) A workaround to this problem would be to prevent Google from knowing that I've logged into a website (which is not the Android OS) on an Android phone. Is there a way to do this? The goal: in My Google account's *Security Settings*, I do not want to see this Android device appear in the devices to which I am signed in when I log into a Google *website* on the device.

So I just bought a new phone last week and I'm in the process of downloading all my apps and setting it up. I was trying to log into the Slack app when this pop-up appeared with a list of all the emails that I've ever used. Half of them were old email accounts that I haven't used in a while and they ranged from Gmail to Yahoo to Outlook and even my old college email address showed up. Where are these emails stored and how can I remove them from my device? I've wrecked my brain and could not figure this out. Any help would be appreciated! <img src=" class="img-fluid rounded" style="max-width: 100%; height: auto; margin: 10px 0;" loading="lazy">

I am wondering if it is possible to use the *exact same* Samsung Account on multiple Samsung devices? I have a specific Samsung account (Gmail account) I want to use on my Samsung devices (I have 4 Samsung devices), but when I try to add the Gmail address I want to use for my Samsung account on my Samsung Galaxy A52 5G smartphone, it gives me an error that states the Samsung account is being used on another device. I do know I am using the same Samsung account on my Samsung Galaxy Tablet and my Samsung Galaxy A52 5G right now, but it is *not* the account I wanted to use. Why would it give me this error message? Can anyone please help me with this? Is there perhaps an app or something out there that can help me with this? Please explain in a detailed manner so I can understand it, I am not a professional user of mobile devices. The easiest route is perfectly fine with me.

When I go to add a new Google Workspace account (not created by me) in Android, I get a view showing toggles for "Calendar" and "Google Calendar". enter image description here I use Google Calendar but I can't tell what "Calendar" refers to. I'm on a Pixel 8 and have not installed any other calendar apps. When I search app drawer, Google Play Store installed apps, and Settings > Apps, only Google Calendar shows. Note that I found a similar question here - https://android.stackexchange.com/questions/232202/what-is-the-difference-between-calendar-and-google-calendar-in-account-sync-sett - but it's for an outdated device, has no answer, and the device there ships with its own non-Google Calendar app (which of course a Pixel would not).

There's a popular 3rd-party mail provider and for some time they don't provide OAuth2 auth scheme and resort to regular password. This mail provider was known to authors of Gmail when OAuth2 was still working and for that reason when you try to setup a new email account in the gmail app it redirects to the non-existent OAuth2 web page (even in flight mode). I thought I found a good workaround: at the beginning enter the wrong domain name and later change it to the correct one. It did help me start receiving emails, but when I try to send some it fails. Presumably I get the "non-local sender" error from the SMTP server (GMail app doesn't display the error details). In the composition dialog there's the dropdown at the top where you select the sender account and there the domain is still wrong. I was unable to find where the account could be renamed. In GMail app itself in "Settings" -> (account name) there's the "Account name" text input, but changing the value there has no effect on email composition: in the dropdown the domain name is still wrong and the emails sending still fails. I think GMail is just designed to use the account name from "accounts on device". From GMail app settings you can navigate to "accounts on device" and there there's no UI to rename the account. Only to delete or to disable sync. Since account renaming isn't possible with built-in UI I want to find an app to do that or help with setting the correct account name from the start, but skipping OAuth2. I'm seeking a solution for the distribution of my Android-based devices (tablets) to end-users. I have a tablet with a custom Android 11 OS, and I've developed an application that is publicly available on the Google Play store. In the future, I plan to sell these tablets to my customers. The challenge I'm facing is that I'd like to avoid a situation in which **they** need to create individual Google accounts (some of them might not have their own Google account or might not be technically capable of creating one). I haven't found a feasible solution to this issue yet. I considered using something like 'zero-touch enrollment,' but if I understand it correctly, it's more geared towards IT administration, and I would need to have an authorized manufacturer that supports this feature. Another solution I'm contemplating (not sure if it exists, though) is customizing the OS in a way that it automatically starts my application on startup. However, I'm uncertain if I would need my own CDN for software updates, etc. I'm not sure if such a thing is even possible. Do you have any ideas?

On my Phone (NordPlus 2, Android 12), I have setup an exchange Account which should sync Calendar and Contacts (not mail!) with a 3rd Party Exchange Server. Some time ago, I changed the password for this Account and recently I discovered that the sync is not working anymore (as expected after the password change). I would like to activate it again, but I can't find an option to do so. Settings -> Users and Accounts -> only shows 3 checkboxes for Mail, Contacts and Calendar and that's it. The Menu there only gives the option to sync now or remove the account. I do not want to delete and recreate the account, as I would probably loose all events and contacts on the phone associated with this account. What can I do to solve this?

I am using multiple google accounts, both private and company accounts. I want to see all calendars in my Calendar app. Events in all calendars. Same with Gmail. I want to be logged in and be able to switch between all gmail accounts. But I don't want my company account (To which I am not the only person to have access I think) to be able to store and backup my contacts, my chrome settings, and privately visited websites, and all private activity. Right now logging to any of those accounts and going to android device manager, I can locate or wipe my phone. I want to allow it only on my main account. How can I control that?
