How do I connect an app? To a bluetooth speaker twice on the same phone
I'm trying to play music through the speaker and play a game through the headset. I did it before with Samsung A54 dual audio, but I can't figure it out on S24 ultra. I can't find dual audio on S24, what changed? Is it capable of doing what a less advanced model can do, if so how?

We have purchased 35 Lenovo M8 tablets to use for online survey data collection. The all have 4G and will not be used on wifi. We will give the tablets to children and ask them to fill in an online survey on Chrome/Google app.
Setting them up has been a nightmare. Installing all the updates etc is an ongoing process. I have signed up for a google account using my institutional email address (the uni I work at) and am signing myself in to each, but I can't apply safesearch settings due to it being an adult account. I am sure there is an easier way but unsure how to proceed. I tried googling some childish buzzwords to bring up adult content and was easily able to turn safesearch off.
I have found some solutions referring to 'Google play for education' that seems outdated.
I have been manually downloading the Find My Device App too so I can name each tablet with a number and we can find them if one goes missing.
Edit: I can see it has also auto-downloaded a bunch of games like Cat Tile and Booking.com with the updates. If there is a way to bulk delete these from all the devices this would save my weekednd.

Best Practise for deploying a 'clone' image across 200 android tablets (Samsung GT-P7510)

My objective is to be able to create a master 'image' of an android tablet, and then duplicate that image across about 200 identical tablets to streamline the administration of a university's pool of loan tablets (e.g. to roll out updated/new apps, to 'clean' them when they are returned, etc.)
What would be the best way to do that?
(I've seen a number of posts around the subject, using nandroid backup, adb, zen toolkit, and so forth, but all rather old and nothing definitive)
- Currently the tablets are Samsung Galaxy 10.1 (GT-P7510) running
stock Android 4.0.4 - but it'd be nice to have a procedure that ought
to work if these are replaced by some other tablets.
- The tablets aren't currently rooted, but could be if that made things
much easier. It'd have to be a real advantage, though, as that might
compromise the warranties on future new stocks of tablets.
- These tablets don't have external SD storage, but it'd be great to
have a process that would re-initialise ALL aspects of a tablet, even
if it did have external (or ancillary internal) SD storage.
- I'd ideally like to create/document a procedure that someone in basic
first-line tech support could follow.
- If it could avoid having to buy 200 paid app licenses, then that'd be
great too :)
I'd appreciate any pointers you folks could give on how best to do this: I would imagine with android tablets becoming much more popular over the past year, that there must be corporations, education establishments and the like doing this...

Is it ok to connect both phones to the Internet at the same time or will that mess things up? I'm thinking of problems like different versions of an application writing configuration info or metadata in different formats, and messing up one another.

I've been using Ubuntu on different old computer hardware of mine, and it's wonderful how easy it is to install and how portable it is between different devices.
I have an 8-year old Samsung Android tablet which no longer receives updates, so using the internet on this device is a security risk. I assumed that I would be able to install a non-manufacturer specific version of Android on my tablet, and that this would be comparatively easy as installing Ubuntu on a computer.
So I had a look around and I found lineage OS, and I was surprised to see that it's very much device specific (and unfortunately for me there are no recent builds for my device). I did a little reading into why this is, and I've understood from this that there are two main reasons why it's not to possible to install a single version of lineage OS on many different devices, and that the builds must be device specific. My understanding is that firstly the machine language that processors use varies more across Android devices than it does in desktop and laptop CPUs, and secondly that SoC architectures do not come with a BIOS, which is necessary to inform the installer binary what hardware exists on the chip.
My question is about the second part of the problem to do with the BIOS; it seems to me that this is a straightforward problem to solve. I envisage a utility on my computer which recognises my Android device like how adb does. This utility could then get the hardware setup that exists on my device, either by directly interacting with the phone if this is possible, or by referencing the device's model number against some online database and downloading the information from there. The utility would then be set up to compile lineage OS based on the information that it now has about my device, and I can then copy over the device specific binary and install. That is, the compilation process is moved from a set of different developers who provide support for specific devices, down to a user friendly utility which builds a device specific OS.
So my question is, has this idea been considered? I'm pretty certain this utility doesn't already exist, so then I would also ask, what are the main reasons that would make this difficult to implement?
(and I guess I have a secondary question which is; have I correctly understood this problem? Perhaps I'm missing something in understanding why lineage OS builds are device specific. If this is the case, I would appreciate having this explained in more detail)

I want to setup **the same account** on 300+ devices. I did that for 4 devices and I am tired.
Setting up new device includes:
1. manually doing all ok/next/skip choices
2. connecting to WiFi + installing updates
2. manually typing GMail + password
3. **MOST PROBLEMATIC** confirming new device by tapping two-digit number on the first device where this account was added.
Questions:
* Is there some automated solution?
* Is it possible to at least **turn off confirmation of new device** completely?

Many schools are looking at using Android tablets in classrooms. Some have classroom sets of 35-40 tablets. As a means to manage apps, having them tied to a single Google Play account would be ideal. Is there a maximum number of devices allowed?
This setup would also be cost effective, if the school uses any pay apps, as the app is linked to the account, not the devices. Does anybody have any experience or knowledge beyond, "I have 5 devices in my family all synced and it works."?

We develop an Android app that is meant to run on tablets in restaurant environments. We use standard Samsung Galaxy tablets that we ship to our customers with some custom settings:
* Pre-install our app
* Change background image
To install the app from Google Play, we have to create a Google Account for them. This process is today very manual and requires us to go through the Google Account signup process for each device. We often get rate-limited and Google keep blocking our mobile phone numbers for account activation. So this is a big issue for us.
How can we solve this? To retain a good user experience, we have to install the app on the tablet before shipping it. Changing the background image is something we could live without. We are developers and can definitely do whatever we need.

I'm looking to configure some Android tablets for shared use in a work environment so they can be used as mobile terminals for an ERP system. In case it matters the test device right now is the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 2019 running Android 9 but I'm open to deploying other devices if there's options that work on other models.
The tablets will need to connect to our restricted wifi network which is authenticated individually normally (we don't have shared devices currently) so I was thinking of connecting to the network with a shared/generic user on the admin account and then trying to restrict access to the wifi settings so that shared users of the device can't access the password.
Unfortunately after creating a restricted user I couldn't see a way to restrict access to the wifi settings which has an option to present a QR code for others to be able to access the same wifi network with those same credentials and configuration.
If I use the guest user they don't seem to have any way to open the application that we need and also once they log out all their session data is thrown away which would require a painful setup process on the business application we need to use each time and require a privileged user to intervene.
I also explored pinning the application which does prevent users from directly accessing the wifi settings (and is probably what we'd want anyway as these would only be used for this application) but anyone with knowledge of the unlock credentials (eg swipe pattern/pin/password) for the user would still be able to unpin and access the wifi settings. Because these devices are being deployed across multiple sites this would cause issues as we'd need to expand the group of trusted people with knowledge of these credentials and thus access to the wifi password that would need rotating when any of those people left.
Ideally, I'd like a way to be able to just use restricted profiles without access to the wifi settings/being able to read the wifi password because then we can leave that restricted profile as just swipe to unlock and there's nothing else sensitive on the device. Is there a way to do this? Am I missing a better option for shared Android devices?

This causes a popup on other devices showing did you login on another device? How to prevent this and solve this problem which I am facing? I doubt even G-Suite allows this.

I have two devices connected to my workstation simultaneously, one by usb, the other over wifi.
C:\>adb devices
List of devices attached
Cxxxxxxxxxx2 device
192.168.60.69:5555 device
I'm not sure how to shell into the wifi connected device while the usb one is present.
I've tried the following
C:\>adb shell
error: more than one device and emulator
C:\>adb -s 192.168.60.69 shell
error: device not found
C:\>adb -s 0xxxxxxxxxxxxxx1 shell
error: device not found
where 0xxxxxxxxxxxxxx1 is hardware id of wifi connected device
Only way that works is to disconnect the usb connected device. However, I'm going to eventually have multiple wifi connected devices, I still don't know how to distinguish between them when trying to shell in?
**Edit (6/13/2014)**
I see why I was omitting the port, b/c the connect command returns the following error when trying to connect and cannot (say for instance the devices wifi was accidentally turned off)
C:\>adb connect 192.168.60.69:5555
unable to connect to 192.168.60.69:5555:5555
This made me think that adb would append port based on ip. However this is not the case, since after wifi was enabled on the target device, the above command did work
C:\>adb connect 192.168.60.69:5555
connected to 192.168.60.69:5555
I needed to mention something to show that I atleast know tcp/ip connect fundamentals (ip and port). Kinda embarrassing...
