Zoom affects MacBook Pro M1 16" sound quality even if Zoom is not running
Sometimes the sound quality (for example music sound) of my MacBook Pro M1 16" becomes very bad. And only one solution for me is to start Zoom, wait when it will load and quit Zoom. After that the sound becomes normal again. My OS: MacOs Ventura Version 13.2.1 Can it be fixed somehow?

The echo is heard by the party being called, but not on our end. The microphone is on the logitech camera (C910, and BRIO, both attempted), the speaker is out of the TV. I have attempted to move both, turn down the TV volume, change positioning in the room, etc...
Of course, it is convenient to use Facetime, but actually my mother and father are using this as the seed of a 'let's buy Samsung phones' plan. They hear good things. They switch, I'll likely need to switch.

I have Zoom calls with students and an administrator would like to see my entire screen while I am giving a lecture to give me pointers. What are some feasible ways to do this? I have a few ideas:
1. Use Teamviewer to share my entire screen while using Zoom, but I am concerned this might introduce issues as two video call softwares are being used.
2. Use an HDMI to USB-C capture card to grab the HDMI output of my Macbook with the Zoom call and send it to a second Macbook, which I then share with the admin using Teamviewer.
I am wondering on the feasibility of the above and if there are any better ideas for this. Thanks very much.

After pushing the customized us.zoom.config.plist to my macOS device through MDM, I am able to find the plist file over /Library/Managed Preferences folder, but Zoom’s default behavior doesn’t change at all.
I tried to restart my machine, reinstall the Zoom app, push different plist content, and none of these helped me to achieve my goal. Would you let me know if I missed anything?
I also include the plist content below, please let me know if the format has any issues. Thank you in advance.

You can install us.zoom.config.plist I attached above to /Library/Managed Preferences and watch if your Zoom app won’t turn on the camera automatically, disable the chat function, and disable FB/Google login.

I seeking for a way to force Zoom always show all users with videos, and then all users without videos.
Searching Google didnt give any results, and inspecting Zoom settings also didnt give result.
Can you tell me please is there a way to force described behaviour in Zoom?

I am trying to combine two microphones (usb & bluetooth, so no hardware option exists probably) to feed the combined audio to Zoom. I tried this with the Audio MIDI app (creating 1 aggregate device with the two inputs) of macOS and judging from the input level in system preferences it seems to work. Now I wanted to use this as the audio input in Zoom, however this did not work. It seems that Zoom somehow only took some of those channels effectively discarding one of the two microphones. Hence my question: is there some way to combine two inputs (ideally adjust their levels) and feed that to zoom?
I have read a couple of similar questions (just without zoom reference) such as here , but they mostly to point to Audio Hijack which looks great, but I find it ridiculously expensive for such a little task.

**Setup**
I've got an iMac on Ventura 13.5 with a connected Magic Mouse and a Magic Keyboard. I am sharing the Magic Mouse and the keyboard with another Mac (Ventura 13.5). The two devices are a foot apart, they both are connected to the same Wi-Fi, and both are signed in with the same Apple ID. The *Mac* has a second monitor connected to it via HDMI.
![Screenshot of the Display settings arranged in the following order: iMac MacBook, and Dell monitor ][1]
**Problem**
With increasing frequency, the iMac has started to randomly disconnects from the MacBook. Then, one will only see the image on the Display settings. This is rather annoying as I use the mouse and the keyboard to work on the MacBook.
Edit : To add more clarity, the issue as far as I understand is that the Mac display gets disconnected. That is, I can only see the iMac under the displays in the attached image. As a consequence of this disconnection, the universal control fails too.
**Attempted troubleshooting**
1. Updated both the iMac and the MacBook to Ventura 13.5
2. Switched off and switched on both the keyboard and the mouse.
3. I noted previously when I am in a Zoom meeting on the iMac, the MacBook gets disconnected from it. But I do not have Zoom open anymore.

I'm a music teacher who is very interested in using Zoom and it's sound sharing ability.
Previously I had the Zoom Audio Driver (can't remember exactly what it's called) present in both my Audio/MIDI setup, but also available in my system as audio selections.
I did a reformat of my computer and reinstalled Zoom (have uninstalled and reinstalled several times), but no Zoom Audio Driver is present.
Is this something that needs to be installed separately? Where would I find it and I guess more importantly why did it not install in my system this time around? My understanding was that it is installed with the Zoom desktop app.
Current OS is Mac OS Ventura 13.3.1

For those wondering, I noticed this initially when I saw that Photo Booth crops my webcam input (which is embarrassing if you use that to judge what is in view!).

I would like to force all sound to the left speaker on my headset.
This is easy when I am using a browser to watch YouTube:
But when I start Zoom, the ability to balance is turned off:
How can I override Zoom and force all the sound to the left speaker on the headset?
This is important to me because I have a hearing impairment and having sound in my right ear causes additional tinnitus. Being able to use a headset that has silence my right ear has been a great relief.
Here are the things I have tried:
1. I contacted Zoom and had a 1 hour call with them about them disabling balance. They basically said they were too busy to change it.
2. I contacted Bose and asked them to change their software to allow the headset to override the computer settings using the headset firmware; no response.
3. Looking thru Zoom settings for anything that will allow to to control balance; there is nothing.
4. Looking thru the Zoom settings and setting **Speaker** to **Same as system**.
[EDIT] I tried switching back to **MacBook Pro Speakers** and they allow balance even when in Zoom. This is not a solution as I want to use my noise cancelling headset; not my speakers.
Steps to reproduce:
1. ensure Zoom is not running.
2. connect Bluetooth headset (I use Bose)
3. open **Sound Preferences** and observe that you are allowed to balance
4. start Zoom
5. observe that ability to balance is disabled
6. switch to built in speakers
7. observe ability to balance is available.
8. switch back to Bluetooth
9. observe ability to balance is not available.
10. stop Zoom
11. observe that ability to balance is restored.

If I am the host of a Zoom meeting and people arrive at the meeting late and I want to admit them to the meeting without interrupting the flow of my presentation, is there any way to "Admit all from Waiting Room" from the keyboard? This is further complicated by the fact that if only one person is in the waiting room, there is no "Admit all" option.
Things I've unsuccessfully tried:
- There is no [pre-defined keyboard shortcut](https://support.zoom.us/hc/en-us/articles/205683899-Hot-Keys-and-Keyboard-for-Zoom) for admitting people from the waiting room
- There is no menu item in Zoom to admit from waiting room, so I can't assign a keyboard shortcut in System Preferences
- The "Admit all" button doesn't appear in the same place on the screen depending on how many people are in the waiting room, so it looks like simulating a mouse click at particular coordinates wouldn't work.
I don't know if there is a path forward with UI Scripting through AppleScript, or if I'm overlooking a simulated mouse click solution, or if there's something else I'm not thinking of, but I'd love to be able to admit latecomers to a zoom meeting from the keyboard.
