My problem is that the files downloaded via Airdroid all have modification date of when I transferred them. I want the files to keep the timestamps they have on the phone (which is the date and time I took the photo).
How can I do this?

I have a video file on my Android device (One Plus 7 Pro). I use the app AirDroid to download this file to my desktop computer through a web browser or application on the computer. This all happens locally, I can cut the internet connection in the middle of the transfer and it will not impede the transfer.
I find that this transfer is slower than I would expect. The fastest speed I have been able to achieve is 6 megabytes per second, which I only achieve when I host a hotspot with my phone, and connect the desktop to that.
If I connect both the phone and the desktop to a WiFi router, I only get roughly half that speed.
Both these devices are capable of both uploading and downloading data much faster than this. If I connect them to a sufficiently fast internet connection through WiFi, they can upload and download files from and to the Internet at multiple times the speeds mentioned above.
If their hardware are capable of that when transmitting to/from the Internet, why can they not do the same thing locally? I would assume that having removed the bottleneck of the Internet connection, the speed would be much faster.
I have noticed that this speed limitation also occurred with other apps that did similar things, such as ShareIt. I have also noticed it a multitude of Android devices from various brands, and various computers.

I work as a developer from home and I wish to demo the android app to my boss. He doesn't have an Android phone, so I have to demo the app from my phone and demo all scenarios for him from my android phone.
The question is how do I share the screen with him ?
Here's what I tried ?
1 - BBQdroid exactly what I want but it only works in a LAN, in fact I have to specify the android local IP address i.e. 192.168.x.x
2 - Teamviewer quicksupport but it exposes all the apps on my phone and it's not live sharing, I have to keep on sending screenshots.
3 - AirDroid only screenshots, no live sharing of the android screen
Please help me guys find a way to share the android screen live with my boss.
Thanks

When I try to uninstall the app I got this message:
Can't uninstall because this package is an active device administrator.
In the same window I have a button: MANAGE DEVICE ADMINISTRATORS
When I follow this button I'm in Device administration settings
. (normally you can reach it when you follow: settings -> Lock screen and security -> Other security settings -> Device administration settings
) There are three items each of them have a switch on the side, which is turned on. When I try to unswich *AirDroid*, I got after some seconds the error message: Unfortunately, Settings has stopped.
Also I'm not able to uncheck the other both items, but there is a different behavior.
I try to solve this error by cleaning the cash with no effect.
I like to remove the app because finally I don't need it and it consume a lot of battery even when I don't use it.

I've got AirDroid and SSHDroid installed on a ZTE Axon 7 running 7.1.1. The phone has a micro SD card in it, and it can access (read from) that card successfully. What I *can't* do is copy files onto it. I can log in via ssh and see the file system, but I can't touch it.
I've had a Moto X Pure for the past year, and via SSHDroid and AirDroid I can readily copy files to the SD card.
Is this just a "security" (ie, "pay somebody") thing in the more-proprietary OS on the ZTE phone?
Obviously I can mount the micro SD card directly on the computer, but juggling those tiny cards is kind-of a pain. If there are other solutions, I'd be grateful.
*edit* — I've tried MTP with the Axon. I plug in the phone and tell it I want to connect as a "media device" with MTP. I then run
mtpfs
(I'm running Linux on the laptop; Ubuntu 16.04) and I get:
Listing raw device(s)
Device 0 (VID=19d2 and PID=0306) is a ZTE V790/Blade 3.
Found 1 device(s):
ZTE: V790/Blade 3 (19d2:0306) @ bus 2, dev 98
Attempting to connect device
Android device detected, assigning default bug flags
Then it just sits there. (I've never had much luck with MTP.)
*edit again* — ADB seems to work. I don't move files that much (mostly music and audiobooks) and while ADB is a pain it's easier than fiddling with the cards.

I can log in with Airdroid.

now they have changed the permission so normal applications cannot write expect a given location on the external sd card. (which is not bad as security).
but now i cant use airdroid to upload files to my mobile.
so instead of allowing all applications to write on the external sd card.
i want to give airdroid root so it can write on the external sd card in any location while the other applications are controlled by the new rule.
