I am having Huawei Honor 6X in which if I open any app and minimize it, after 1 minute it automatically closes. For example, I want to download using ADM (Advance Download Manager) where I plan download to automatically start at night, but as soon as I minimize it, it closes. How to fix this?

I have followed all instructions to unlock my Huawei bootloader, until the last instruction in the command prompt. Some maybe useful information: - My computer runs windows 10 - My phone is a Huawei Honor 6x (title) - I am using a charging cable to connect my phone to my computer What I did so far: 1. Registered a Huawei account, and got my access code 2. Turned on USB debugging 3. Connected my phone and computer with a charging cable 4. Ran adb and fastboot 5. Opened Windows Powershell (I couldn't find command in the adb folder) and typed the following commands: - adb reboot bootlader - fastboot oem unlock 2**************1 It produces an error message that says: Also, my phone should say "unlocked", but it still says "locked". Any ideas on why the command is not allowed?

My phone is a Huawei Honor 6x, using Android 7.0 (Nougat). EMUI version 5.04. I want my music apps to have write access to my music folders on my external micro SD-card. I understand that this might only be possible if **all** my apps have access to **all** my folders on the card. I would prefer to do this without rooting my phone, but if that is not possible, then please recommend alternate methods. **What I've already done**: Install *Fx File Explorer* on my phone, but this only creates write permissions for itself, not for other apps. That seems plausible of course, but that was not as I was told. Questions: 1. How do I get write access to folders on my external micro SD-card, without rooting? 2. If it is not possible to get access without rooting, what is the best method to root for my type of phone and OS? 3. Can I root my my type of phone and OS **without** or **with** unlocking the bootloader? 4. Is formatting the SD card as internal storage a better option? Or do I need to root my phone to do that anyway?

I have an android phone with an unresponsive touchscreen. I, at first, thought it might be a software problem and did a factory reset with power button and volume up button as given [here](http://www.hardreset.info/devices/huawei/huawei-honor-6/) . The reset went fine and i rebooted the phone. It rebooted to the initial setup screen where you have to select a language. Now, the touch screen is still not working. Probably a hardware defect. Honor 6A, Android 7.0. Bluetooth active, smartwatch paired and connected, phone contacts and calls are visible from the smartwatch, smartwatch accepts files via Bluetooth. However, when I try to set up smart unlock, it says "no devices" and the phone keeps asking for PIN every time I unlock it. Any ideas?

Could please someone name the exact checkboxes I need (not) to tick on Honor 6A to have it unlock with my fingerprint? Fingerprint is configured and recognized in the settings, but the phone keeps asking for PIN every time.

I am unable to download anything from play store..and I am also not able to access any service of google like gmail, picasa google+ . I have already reset my phone after half hour till reset my phone works properly bt further it starts behaving the same as it was before reset

I recently bought an Honor 6 (specifically the H60-L04 model) which I took from android 4.4 to 5.1 (firmware H60-L04C900B521) using the updater app, all went smoothly. However, searching around, It would seem that android 6 update has been released in May as a downloadable firmware, and OTA update should have been out by June; yet, if I open the updater app, it says that my phone is already at last version. So my question is threefold: 1. Is this because the OTA update isn't out yet, or because my phone is not compatible? 2. Is it safe to upgrade using the downloadable firmware? The procedure seems easy enough 3. Will such an upgrade reset my phone, or will it keep the data?

Built-in kernel does not come with USB Video support and when using sideloaded uvcvideo.ko the camera works very bad (image is distorted, the device often crash). I can barely get even single 160x120 frames. FFmpeg says [video4linux2,v4l2 @ 0xa57320] The v4l2 frame is 32712 bytes, but 38400 bytes are expected (the bigger frame size, the sooner). dmesg says something like [ 1610.497185] [7168.0, ffmpeg] cma: dma_alloc_from_contiguous(cma e44c14c0, count 10, align 4). I tried various quirks parameters for the uvcvideo.ko module, but nothing helps. How do I make use of external USB camera on my device? Are there any patches/hackes available?

When I click the "Share" button at bottom of the app description page, I do not get the usual sharing panel. Instead, it pastes the link to SMS, from where I have to copy, discard SMS option and then share it by mail (as an example). I end up doing three steps to share by mail, instead of a single click. Strangely, this happens only from Google Play Store. From all other apps, say ES File Explorer, I can choose and share the way I want to. This behaviour started a few days back and I can't think of anything that could have triggered it. Searched in Play Store and Google settings but couldn't find any way to alter this behaviour. Other things which didn't help are reinstalling Play Store, uninstalling recently added apps, cleaning system and traces of leftover apps by SD Maid and cleaning Dalvik Cache. This behaviour isn't driving me nuts but being unable to find the cause and fix is. Pointers on how to fix and what could have caused it are eagerly sought. I don't have access to laptop plus my Linux/coding knowledge is pretty much nil, so if it has to be command based, request something I could copy-paste on device terminal emulator. I have two cell phones Note2 and Honor 6. Both are rooted, and run 4.4.2 Both have a battery of same capacity 3100mAh. I can connect any of two external hard drives WD passport and WD Elements of 1 TB capacity (both are NTFS formatted and do not have provision for external powering on) through OTG cable on Honor 6 and transfer files But when I connect to Note2 through same OTG cable, the external hard drive LED flickers and can't view the contents of either drive. Changing OTG cables, using multiple apps from play store to manage OTG mounting did not change anything I read on some forum that note 2 battery capacity is not enough to power on the external hard drive for normal operations and is just enough to recognize the drive, hence the flickering. This was not substantiated by any technical explanation. Besides, Honor 6 also has the same battery capacity!!! So this explanation doesn't sound logical unless am missing something Would welcome a technical explanation for this please Edit: situation is the same if the external drive is formatted in FAT32 Thanks

Clock application has stopped ringing anymore in my honor 6 phone although its setting is proper. I don't want to use reset factory for this problem. I will be thankful if somebody has a better solution.

Normal mode: Magnet mode: This pops up regardless of lock screen status. If I add and remove the magnet while unlocked, it does not get locked. There is also third screen with music controls when music app is running. Why does this happen?

When I press and hold the volume down button on Huawei Honor 6, it beeps two times, even if the device is in silent mode. Between the beeps I see logcat message like this: D/VARecorder(13631): RecorderThread XXXXXXXXXRECOGNIZER_LOCAL dataRead1200 ... 02-13 03:45:08.630 D/SoundManager(16318): playRecognitionStopSound() I suppose it looks like some voice command feature. How do I disable this (or at least its beeps)?
