I have tried all different methods to remove it but no use. I have deleted all of my Chrome passwords, Google passwords, Instagram clear all data, turn off auto-fill for Google, but still this doesn't go away.
Moreover, I don't have access to these accounts in Instagram too. Please help me remove this Smart Lock popup along with its saved accounts.

Lollipop screen not locking, even after removing smart lock etc
Since I played around with smart lock, my device just does not lock anymore. I disabled smart lock, I cleared all credentials, I removed device administrators, accessibility accesses (Lastpass). Nothing helped. Can anyone give me a procedure to reset this setting? Thanks.

I have a Nexus 6 with Android 5.1, kernel version 3.10.40-geec2459, build number LMY47D.
When I first started using the Nexus 6, Smart Lock worked.
After a while it stopped working.
If I open the *Smart Lock* setting under *Security*, all options (like *Trusted devices* and *Trusted places*) are *Disabled by administrator*
Possible suspects: I use gmail with exchange, I use *Android Device Manager* and I use Outlook for Android.
Is anyone of those apps supposed to stop Smart Lock?
On the Office Blog it states
> Further, a device level PIN means we can take advantage of features like native device encryption, TouchID on iOS and Smart Lock on Android
I am not sure of how to interpret this. Does it mean that they "take advantage" of "Smart Lock" by disabling it?
I tested disabing *Android Device Manager* and *Outlook Device Policy* under the *Device administrators* and then rebooted the phone. That did not help.
I would really like to use both Outlook and Smart lock. Is it possible?
Would it help to root the phone?

I am interested in using my Nexus Player (or other bluetooth device) as a Smart Lock trusted device for my phone. My goal was to be able to unlock my device without needing my usual pin while sitting on the couch. It seems like my Nexus Player (which never moves from under my TV) is a good candidate for that.
When I navigate to *Settings* -> *Security* -> *Smart Lock* -> *Trusted devices* -> *Bluetooth*, I can see it listed, but not connected:
" class="img-fluid rounded" style="max-width: 100%; height: auto; margin: 10px 0;" loading="lazy">
Trusted devices not connected (Click image to enlarge)
The devices are paired (but not connected):
" class="img-fluid rounded" style="max-width: 100%; height: auto; margin: 10px 0;" loading="lazy">
Paired bluetooth devices (Click image to enlarge)
Is there any way to use these as Smart Lock trusted devices?

[The docs](https://developers.google.com/identity/smartlock-passwords/android/retrieve-hints) explain that an app can ask the API to ask the user to choose an email address to use:
I am always thrown off by that thing popping up after I started typing my email address (in some apps) and in others I still prefer typing it manually to choosing in that huge list (because google adds every address without asking once it is set up in gmail).
How can I make my device act as if I pressed "None of the above" whenever that dialog would pop up?
I am running LineageOS 17 (Android 10), rooted with Magisk.

However, sometimes the device is removed from the list, and I can't figure out why.

I figured that since I have a Fitbit One in my pocket pretty much whenever I have my pants on, I'd use that as the "key". It syncs by Bluetooth, so I figured I'd be all set.
However, when I go into Smart Lock in the settings and attempt to add a Trusted Device, it doesn't show up in the list. Why not?

Ideally a slider button with a lock would be ideal here.
What about newer versions of Android?

My Android device (v. 7.1.2) offers several options to use the "Smart Lock" feature.
This feature uses some rules to automatically disable the lockscreen.
Available rules are:
- Trusted place
- Trusted Bluetooth device
- Trusted face
- Trusted voice
- On-body detection
I am surprised that there is no option to use a trusted WiFi network.
Some forums state the risk for the WiFi network to be spoofed. I don't understand how the risk is different: an attacker could spoof a Bluetooth device as well.
What could be reasons for not allowing a WiFi-based unlocking while allowing Bluetooth-based unlocking?

I’ve been trying to get Smart Lock to work on my Android device (OnePlus One on Cyanogen OS 13.1.2, i. e. Android 6.0.1/“Marshmallow”).
I’ve configured an NFC tag as a trusted device and want to use this NFC tag to unlock my phone instead of having to type my long password every time.
The problem is that unlocking using the NFC tag is really unreliable. Most of the time, when I activate my NFC tag on the lock screen, nothing happens, even though the pulsing circle around the lock icon at the bottom of the screen is present (indicating that Smart Lock is active).
Sometimes, however, the NFC tag is recognized and unlocks the phone without problems.
I haven’t really figured out the circumstances under which it happens.
For example, when I turn NFC off and then on again in the settings and lock the phone then, unlocking using the NFC tag once always works without problems, but the next time, it won’t work again.
What could be the issue here? Am I somehow using Smart Lock incorrectly? Does Android perhaps turn off NFC or the process responsible for Smart Lock after a while when the phone is locked (Doze mode)? If so, how do I prevent this?
----------
*Note:* Also tried on someone else’s phone running Android 7 (“Nougat”), same thing: after setup, unlocking the phone using NFC works exactly *once*, but immediately locking the phone again and then trying to unlock doesn’t work.

When I get a notification from messaging apps like Snapchat, and my device is unlocked but the screen is off, the phone will not buzz but the screen will just turn on. This will happen when I am at a trusted place or I am connected to a trusted bluetooth because I use the smart lock feature. I would prefer to keep using smart lock, but if Snapchat turns the screen on and starts using the camera without me knowing, I'll miss incoming messages and lose massive amounts of battery.
**How can I keep using smart-lock AND prevent incoming messages from turning my screen on?**
