Given: Android TV (OS v.11) Xiaomi Q2. Regularly, it receives Bluetooth pairing requests from an unknown device named "CD Player" (maybe it is malfunctioning or someone can't find a better entertainment than trying to connect to his/her neighbor's TV). None of the advices found in internet helped to prevent it. I have tried different tools (e.g., Bluetooth Discovery Disabler, DR-NetTools, Bluetooth Visibility Fix, Bluetooth Settings), enabling “Bluetooth HCI snoop log”. In Bluetooth Settings choosing "Limit to devices..." is not saved. DR-NetTools complains, that "the system prevented the app from changing the state of the device's Bluetooth discoverability". enter image description here Apparently, there is no way to control Bluetooth settings on Android TV. Which is bizarre. So much concerns about protecting your Wi-Fi network and nothing about shielding your Bluetooth devices. So I wonder, maybe I have overlooked the useful information on this topic.

My problematic Allview P6 Qmax phone refuses to turn its screen on. Its touch screen has proven to still work, but it just simply refuses to open the screen. I bought a new phone, but my problem consists of the fact that my Panasonic RPBTD5K wireless headphones are still paired up through Bluetooth to the phone that won't show its screen anymore. I don't remember how to navigate to the Bluetooth screen in the settings with a black screen. I would like to know if it's possible to use... Maybe a third-party program, that's capable of unpairing my problematic phone from my headphones. Or if my headphones have a command to unpair from what they're paired with.

Utilizing "dual audio" (Bluetooth 5 standard) to "intercom" two connected headsets

I've seen a number of apps that allow a Bluetooth headset to intercom or walkie talkie to another phone over WiFi/udp or phone to phone over Bluetooth but I'm looking to connect two "headsets" to one phone and have the mic from the one talk to the headphone of the other and vice versa. I believe this is possible, but I'm not sure if it exists or if I need to make it. More details: I bought a side by side and want to have a way to talk to my passenger. I've already got a helmet with an IMSA plug (road racing) and earplug headphones, and I'd like to keep that setup, so I bought a traccom chaser, which I believe is basically a Bluetooth headphone setup that plugs into my helmet plug. The passenger would have one as well. Generally, you'd pair one with a phone, then call another person with one, or there's a chance I could pair it with a "Sena" motorcycle-style system. I didn't want something that stayed in the vehicle because they're mostly not waterproof or extremely expensive.

Bluetooth pairing with a device no longer working, device appears on pairing screen but clicking it does nothing

My Google Pixel 4 cellphone (Android 13 build TP1A.221005.002.B2, up to date) stopped pairing with headphones (Shokz Open Air Pro) after working fine for a few years. This happened after I paired the headphones with a new phone, then later tried connected my usual phone with the headphones and it wouldn't work as they usual did, so I had my usual phone forget the headphones and try to re-pair. That's when the problem arose, not pairing or responding to clicks on the pairing list. To try and fix this, I had already had my phone forget the BT connection, so I tried to reset the headphones and tried what I could with limited settings there. Starting fresh should work since it worked before, I figured. One of the only other options for headphones other than factory resetting was to enable multipoint pairing , I tried enabling that too and I don't think it had any effect, I've again reset the headphones. The furthest I've got is the headphones show up on my phone when trying to pair with new devices, but when I click the headphones, the phone doesn't respond. I tested my phone and the headphones independently. My phone connects with other BT devices no problem. They show up on list available for pairing, I click them, it says connecting and does its thing on both ends, data and sound transfers fine. I tested the headphones with two other phones and a computer, and they all work fine, connecting as expected. Something between my phone and the headphones appears stuck, such that my phone is unresponsive to the request to pair with the headphones, despite recognizing them as available for pairing. The headphones are in pairing mode and can connect with other devices from there, so as far as I can tell, nothing is wrong on that end. So far on my phone, I tried: - toggling Bluetooth on and off, - forgetting the headphones in the first place (they haven't paired to let me try to 'forget' again) - I turned on developer mode and toggled "Disable Bluetooth A2DP hardware offload" to turn it on. I saw this resolved some BT issues for other users, but no effect for me. I turned it back off. - I've restarted the phone many times throughout all this, tried over a couple of weeks now. **What other settings can I adjust on my phone to try to reset/remedy pairing with these headphones?** Is there a way to reset my phone's BT completely? I have a few other paired devices I'd rather not forget if unnecessary but I can reset and reconnect to all those if that might fix these headphones. I just don't want to factory reset the phone if I can avoid it.

I wanted to pair a bluetooth device (specifically, [Dynamo Harvester](http://be-on-bike.de/de/harvester/overview.html)) with my Moto G 2 (Android 6) with the normal workflow: Open bluetooth system settings, scan for devices, select *Dynamo Harvester*, enter the PIN and it is paired. Now, after entering the wrong PIN (0000 instead of 000000) several times – where most of the time a message was displayed that the PIN was wrong –, I entered the correct PIN, and something strange happened. The *Incorrect PIN* message popped up for a brief moment, and afair the device moved to the list of paired devices. Since the app still did not recognize the Dynamo Harvester, I turned bluetooth off and on again. Now the device has disappeared from the list of paired devices, but appears in the scan list. If I try to pair, I cannot enter a PIN anymore but receive a message *Can't communicate with Dynamo Harvester*. I thought that perhaps the device is broken somehow, but connecting with a Samsung Android tablet worked just fine (with the correct PIN). What can I do? Might this even be a bug in Android because of the strange message about the incorrect PIN, although it was correct? Bluetooth; can't communicate with Dynamo Harvester

I'm trying to connect a bluetooth headset to my phone ( Poco X3 Pro ) but I end up with this error instead. Things that I have tried: - Rebooting device - Killing bluetooth app and clearing all of its data ( user settings and cache ) - Cleared cache from the Connectivity settings ( clears wifi, bluetooth etc ) - Tried to download a Bluetooth app from the Playstore and connect through it, same error - Tried to manually "Forget" or "Disconnect" the device from the Bluetooth settings, but the android version doesn't even have these buttons ( long pressing or swiping on the device doesn't do anything ) Is there some sort of incompatibility between the devices where they just would not get along? When I put the headset into pairing mode ( holding its button for a few seconds ) and I click on "Pair" from my phone, it hangs for around 5-7 seconds and then displays the error from the title. The headset connects just fine to my older phone and doesn't require any additional inputs, apart for OS permissions.

Are there any special tricks to connect and Android phone to a PC? Below's what I've tried so far, and without success. 1) On my Android phone (Android, version 11), the bluetooth is on and discoverable. 2) On my PC (Win. 11), I can see my phone's bluetooth name when going to "Bluetooth & devices" -> "Add device". 3) But when I click on my phone's name, it shows a message in red: "Try connecting your device again." 4) On my Android phone, I can detect my PC's name on bluetooth, but when I tried to connecting, the PC acknowledges a device, but doesn't go beyond that and ends in failure. 5) *Additional note:* On the same PC, multiple other bluetooth devices (i.e.: controllers, wireless headphones, etc.) have connected successfully. So I know my PC's bluetooth adapter works. My phone also connected to other bluetooth devices, so I know my phone's bluetooth adapter also works.

I paired the Voice Remote for Google TV with an Android TV succesfully, and all functions work. Except for powering on the TV when it is off. This makes sense because I suspect that the Bluetooth chip is disabled when the TV is in standby. Since the Voice Remote for Google TV is capable of sending infrared signals, this should be very easy to solve. But I can't figure out how. Maybe I can pair the remote to somebody elses Google TV and setup the infrared function for the powerbutton? But I suspect that when pairing it back to the Android TV afterwards, it will also clear the infrared preference stored on the remote in the process. Does anyone know a solution for this? Because there is no technical reason this cannot be done, it's just that Android TV doesnt provide the setup menu.

I'm using an old HTC Sensation XE with Android 4.1.2. Recently I bought a Creative WP-250 and encountered a weird issue with it. It paired with no problems, sound is going out through those headphones, mic is working as well but if I turn them off and on again it won't reconnect automatically and I have to manually go to Bluetooth settings each time and tap on the on it in the devices list. Isn't there any way to make Android reconnect to a Bluetooth device automatically if it's available? My friend's Nexus seems to be doing it but I can't find any such option in my phone.
