My issue is I want to share the file with the name I have given but not a long meaningless code. All software including android and apps are updated. App caches cleared. Can anyone help?

I have a personal Gmail (Google) account created some years back for my Android phone. Recently I have been given access to a new Gmail account by my employer. When I open the Gmail or Gdrive apps they both show the two accounts and allow me to easily switch between them (Gmail has a useful combined *All inboxes* option too). So far, so good. However if I open a mail sent by my employer to my work Gmail account and click on the *Save to Drive* icon on the attached PDF, the pop-up dialog box allows me to save the attachment only to my personal Gdrive account; it doesn't list my work Gdrive account at all. So how do I directly save an attachment from my work Gmail to my work Gdrive? <img src=" class="img-fluid rounded" style="max-width: 100%; height: auto; margin: 10px 0;" loading="lazy">

*Android 11; Samsung Galaxy A20; Gmail app (fully updated):* When I send an email that has an image, the email gets stuck in the Gmail outbox folder (status = Queued) for a day or two before eventually being sent. Details: 1. This issue started a couple of weeks ago. The Gmail app worked fine before then -- ever since I got the phone years ago. I'm not aware of any changes that were made to my phone/settings that might have caused this issue. 2. The issue happens no matter what the file size is -- not just for large photos. For example, a screenshot of a small area of the screen also has this issue. 3. The network type is a cell data plan, not Wi-Fi. Although switching to Wi-Fi doesn't solve the issue either. 4. I tried resetting the Gmail app by un-updating the app (can't uninstall the app), then re-updating the app. That had no effect. I also cleared the app cache and data. 5. The issue happens regardless of the email recipient. 6. I don't have this problem when sending emails that have no attachments. ---------- Why are emails with attachments not being sent right away?

I'm using a Xiaomi MI 9 SE phone (Android v11, MIUI Global v12.5.1). For quite a long time now, I've had the problem of not being able to open PDF files attached to WhatsApp messages I receive. When I double-click them, the app I choose either shows nothing, or immediately quits (depends on the app). I tried to check the app permissions, and there are no permissions - that I know off - that WhatsApp is missing. I also tried updating WhatsApp, which didn't help. I do not have this problem with other messaging applications, e.g. Telegram. Also, the different viewers / handling apps are able to open PDFs from other sources. What's the cause of this problem, and what can I do about it? Note: My situation is not the same as in Cannot open PDF files received on WhatsApp directly , where the user was getting an error message about not having the appropriate app for the content type.

A short while ago, on my Motorola cell phone, when I opened up an e-mail attachment I could select which app I would use to share the file/photo with. I was used to share through **WhatsApp**, but accidentally I checked an option to always share via WhatsApp. Now I cannot revert it back, so that I can choose another app to do the sharing with. By chance, someone ever found out a way to restore the choice of apps when sharing a e-mail attachment through Google Gmail on Android 12 ? I've searched through Google Gmail settings, but to no avail thus far.

I just switched phones and carrier, going from a Huawei P20 to a Samsung S20 FE 5G. I used to be able to easily send PDFs and other files via MMS (as long as the file didn't exceed a certain size). Since I changed phone/carrier, I am no longer able to send files to iPhone users. I still have the options to send files to other Android user, but that doesn't seem to be an option with iPhones, which is an absolute deal breaker for me as I rely on it quite a lot for work where everyone but me is using an iPhone. Do you know of a work around or way that would allow me to send PDF files via "text message" as I used to? And I of course mean actual files, not links to cloud drive. enter image description here Thank you for your help!

Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 default email attachment location
How can I change the default location on my Samsung Galaxy tab 4 for email attachments? When I download, say, a picture attachment it automatically sends it to internal device storage. I want to send my downloaded email attachments to my microSD card.

Using for the first time latest Chrome (v30.x) on Android 4.0.4 ICS on a 1st Gen. Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 tablet. To my huge surprise am not able to upload any files other than images or camera videos? In any webmail when I click attach a list of apps is displayed that includes Gallery, Camera etc. But the in-built file manager (My Files) is nowhere to be seen. Thinking there was a problem with it I tried many other file manager apps but none of them show up either. In stock Android browser though the in-built file manager is visible and allows me to select and upload files with any extension. What could be wrong with Chrome and if possible how can I fix it?

When I forward an email with Mutt from my laptop, Mutt adds the forwarded email as an attachment with MIME type "message/rfc822". Unfortunately, Android's stock email client "com.android.email" version 8.1.0 displays the received email like this: ![Email app screenshot saying "Couldn't download. Touch to retry"](https://i.sstatic.net/NBmLL.jpg) Two things are wrong with that: * It doesn't show the forwarded email's content. * It doesn't show the content of the non-forwarded email, the body of the email I wrote in Mutt. The email displays properly when using K-9 Mail. Is there a way to make the email app show the email and its attachment? --- I'm on a Samsung Galaxy J5 running LineageOS.

I have a problem. I have some files in my android phone which I don't want to be shown on WhatsApp attachment possibilities. I created the .nomedia file inside the directory where the files are but WhatsApp keeps showing them. I changed the directory's name and even clear the WhatsApp cache however, when I try to attach a file WhatsApp keeps showing the directory with the old name and showing the thumbnails of the files even though the files can't be shared (since they don't exists anymore). WhatsApp doesn't "see" the directory with the new name, however, I want to erase the thumbnails as well. Is there any possibility that doesn't imply to reinstall/clear the data of WhatsApp? Thank you!

Steps Followed to attach an image:- 1)Clicked on Attachment icon under the mail. 2)The browse page loads and i click on browse and select the image which i want to send. 3)After selecting the image it instead opens another blank page. 4)Tried going back and re-select the image but again upon selecting the image it opens a new blank page. I cannot pin point where exactly the problem is(whether the WiFi or the browser). **Note**:-The image gets selected under the browse option very rarely(i.e in 4 times i try the image gets selected only once and it get's difficult if i try to attach multiple images )
