How can I get the old Emojis or Kik-style Emojis on my updated GoSMS Pro?

Okay, I use GoSMS Pro for my SMS, and I use SwiftKey for my keyboard. GoSMS just updated because of a "copyright issue" with their emojis, and now the only emojis available aren't really ideal for me.
I am fairly new to Android and I have no idea how all of these installable "Emoji plugins" interface with my keyboard and/or GoSMS or other third-party SMS apps.
**Here are my main questions:**
1. Does anyone know of an Emoji pack that mimics the default Emoji style of Kik?
2. Do I *have* to use Emojis from GoSMS/by their developer as a plugin?
3. Will my downloaded Emoji plugins interface with SwiftKey and show to others I send SMS to the same as they look to me?
**TL;DR Ultimately I just want to pick a set of Emojis and have it work with SwiftKey and GoSMS. If anyone can help I would really appreciate it! :)**

I've made the mistake of putting an emoji character (❌) in my unlock pin. This usually works fine, but after the last time I restarted my phone, the two keyboards I have installed on my phone refuse to show the emoji keyboard on the lock screen. This makes it impossible to type in my password :(
I've got an external keyboard, but after reading some HID documentation I can't seem to find a way to enter this character. I found some solace with the special charcodes
\uef00
/\uef01
, which would allow me to input something, but they don't seem to work; they're mapped to x+shift+alt and space+capslock, but they don't seem have their intended effect, even on another phone I have lying around (although with \uef01
, I see something going on at the bottom of the screen pop up, but it doesn't let me input anything...)
Do people have any other suggestions? I don't have USB debugging on :(

iPhone users are able to add emoji reactions to my messages, yet I cannot do the same back.
I can react to messages from some other contacts though, presumably those with Android devices.
I am using Google Messages and have all of the RCS chats enabled and verified.

I'm unable to delete the files with [wrong character encoding in names](https://android.stackexchange.com/q/249146/94084) on my phone. I plug it into my Windows PC and try to delete it in File Explorer. It says the files are write-protected:

[This guide](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I79JQewqs00) tells me to
su
restorecon -v -R /data/media
The output is
u0_a82@j1x3g:/ $ su
root@j1x3g:/ # restorecon -v -R /data/media
Function: selinux_compare_spd_ram , priority , priority version is VE=SEPF_SM-J120H_5.1.1_0069
SELinux: Loaded file_contexts from /file_contexts
SELinux: Skipping restorecon_recursive(/data/media)
root@j1x3g:/ #
But the deletion still doesn't work. Nevertheless I can do this via adb.
Do you know why this happens?

-
🌒 C

As the result in my phone they are write-protected. I'm unable to delete them:

However files whose name contains this emoji ✔️
are not affected.
Not sure if this is relevant to the problem, but for full information, when I try to remove this protection, diskpart
doesn't detect my Android phone.

Google Messages adds spaces to emoticons

In addition to Google Messages, I am using [Gboard](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.google.android.inputmethod.latin) on both devices, so maybe this is a problem with the keyboard app, not with the messaging app.
Does anyone know what is this and how to prevent this?
At first I thought that this is a problem with my very old Motorla Moto One (first edition, X1941). But now I have migrated to Neffos X9 and I am observing exactly the same behavior.

How do I disable all emoticons on incoming/outgoing text messages?

I just received a couple of text messages from a friend. The first message read "Type in this expression exactly, or the script will not work." The second message read "Equals symbol, emoticon, five, emoticon, closing parenthesis, emoticon"
I later found out that he actually sent "=x-(5:O)<3" ("Equals symbol, x, minus symbol, opening parenthesis, five, colon, capital o, closing parenthesis, less than symbol, three")
I have noticed that my outgoing texts have the same problem.
I have searched the internet for solutions, but there is conflicting information about whether or not the emoticons are sent over the internet as text or as images. Some say that smileys are not ordinary characters and are [converted into MMS before sending](http://forums.androidcentral.com/samsung-galaxy-note-3/325645-sms-converted-mms.html#post3394170) and others think they are just sent as it is and [phone translates them later](http://forums.androidcentral.com/t-mobile-galaxy-s-iii/202264-smileys.html#post2692795) , Furthermore, none of the proposed solutions on the internet have worked for me.
I have 2 questions:
- How do I disable all emoticons on **incoming** text messages?
- How do I disable all emoticons on **outgoing** text messages?

I have a Lenovo K6 with Android 7 and when I try to send an emoticon from any keyboard like Gboard, Swift or Chrooma (the device does not have a native keyboard) the emoticon does not appear at all to the people I sent it to.
For example if I send 'Hi (smileyface emoticon)', only 'Hi' will show up to the recipient but also only 'Hi' appears if I go to messages app and see what I have sent.
I have tried lots of emoticons from complex to very simple and I haven't been able to send any.
This is not a carrier issue because my previous phone (LG G4) with the same carrier and plan was showing emoticons and they reached the recipient.
Is there some setting that I can change so that I will be able to send emoticons through SMS?

I've been running Android 4.4 on my Galaxy S4 active for years and recently realized that I've never had access to emojis on my phone. I never really cared too much for them, but I don't like the idea of not having access to something that's so commonplace nowadays so I decided to look up how to get them on my phone.
I did some research and it seemed like it would be a simple installation of "Emoji for English words" under the add-on dictionaries in the Google Keyboard settings. Well, even after refreshing the add-on dictionaries page the emojis never appeared, and a google search for my issue results in nothing really fruitful.
Granted, when I'm using google keyboard I can hold the enter/return key and I'll get a very basic list of emojis but it's limited to stuff like :-) and :-$. About 15 of those face emojis and 24 other basic symbols. That's it. No hot fire emoji, cry laughing emoji, nor the underlined 100 emoji. I need these to be hip with the kids.
I like using google keyboard but the lack of emojis is really starting to annoying me into wanting to use anything else. If anyone's got any ideas or suggestions on a fix, or even a suggestion for another great keyboard app that does have emoji support, I'd be eternally grateful.

Any idea what could be causing this and how to fix it?

When instead I took the ttf file from my Phone and put it on the watch it worked.
So what is the actual difference between those file?

I am using Google Japanese Input keyboard, and I often want to post a rare emoji such as 🐧 or 🗼.
The search bar looks like the perfect place to search for an emoji, but unfortunately it fails every time:
It fails even on the simplest requests, such as "smile" or "sad".
It does not work in Japanese either:
I have changed phones, and changed OS (Nexus default, CyanogenMod, LineageOS, Samsung default) many times: The problem has always been present. So I guess it is not a bug, but rather a problem of me not using it correctly.
How to use that feature correctly?

The clown face is part of the [emoji 3 spec](https://emojipedia.org/emoji-3.0/) that was released in 2016. The others are from the 2017 character set. 😢
My phone is stock Android, not rooted.
Is there a right way (or a wonky way -- I'm flexible) to get the current Unicode emoji set on my keyboard? I'm just using the built in keyboard. ⌨️
