My Samsung S22 currently has a weird issue since a few days ago where any sound is currently only output via the ear speaker. During calls the sound output is very quiet on the ear speaker, people's voices are almost inaudible, while music and video sound are output via the ear speaker at the highest volume. There is no sound coming from the regular speakers anymore at all.
I haven't (knowingly) messed around with any of the audio settings before this happened. **Outputting audio via Bluetooth speakers works just fine.**
What I've tried to solve this, but to no avail, is the following:
- Restart phone (several times)
- Connect and disconnect Bluetooth speakers
- Turn mono output on and off in the accessibility settings
- Use a [Speaker Cleaner](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.speaker.cleaner.fixer.sound.booster.fixmyspeaker) app
- Carefully shake phone to make sure nothing has come loose
- Started device in Safe Mode, but no audio playing from speakers either
I am very careful in handling my phone, it doesn't have any scratches, dents or whatsoever, because I never drop it. It's not the result of dropping the phone or hitting it hard against something.
The phone is running on
- Android 13.0
- One UI 5.1
- Build number TP1A.220624.014.S901BXXS6CWH6
- Security Patch from September 1st, 2023
What could be causing this? Is this a software or hardware issue?

Sure, I could turn down its volume with the four Android volume sliders. Indeed, on different phones it is on a different sliders. But that doesn't matter, because that is not the solution I am looking for. Why? Because it affects other apps. Throwing the baby out with the bathwater.
Yes, in a Utopian world one could have [A](https://android.stackexchange.com/questions/92530/set-different-volume-for-multiple-apps-running-at-the-same-time) and [B](https://android.stackexchange.com/questions/222202/how-to-block-an-app-from-accessing-my-speaker) , and even my [groundbreaking landmark Android Speaker Permissions proposal](https://issuetracker.google.com/issues/277029750) . But today I am merely wanting to _deball_ this one bell, on my run of the mill Samsung A13 5G Android 13 phone.
The logcat is:
> 04-02 19:24:44.433 I/VoiceInputManager(3099): VoiceInputManager.startVoiceInput():194 startVoiceInput () : VoiceSessionParams{audioInputStream=null, primaryLanguageTag=en-US, secondaryLanguageTags=null, triggerApplicationId=null, triggerFieldName=null, blockOffensiveWords=true, autoStarted=false, fallbackAvailable=false, **suppressBeepSoundAtRecognitionStart=false**, connectOnly=false} : VoiceTranscriptionState : UI = NOT open : Microphone = NOT listening : Recognizer = NOT running
If only I could somehow go in and toggle that **
suppressBeepSoundAtRecognitionStart
** to true

WhatsApp call/LINE call over phone speaker and Spotify music over Bluetooth speaker at the same time
I connected my Samsung Galaxy S7 edge to my car's Bluetooth and started to call my friend using *the phone's loudspeaker* on WhatsApp or LINE app. However, I also want to listen to music on the Spotify app, but through my *Bluetooth speaker* on my car. Is it possible to do this?

Android 10: How can I switch to external loudspeakers during a call (the screen is black and locked and nothing happens if I plug the loudspeakers)?

I have a Motorola "moto e" phone running Android 10.
Unlike in the case of my old Windows Phone when, during a call, it was enough to plug the 3.5 mm jack with 3 contacts of my external loudspeakers into that phone and the sound switched immediately to the loudspeakers, in the situation of this "moto e" the loudspeakers receive no sound if their jack is plugged during a call.
I guess that, while talking with somebody, when the screen is black and locked, I can activate somehow the screen of the "moto e" and, by setting something, direct the sound to the external wired loudspeakers or to a Bluetooth wireless speaker. **How can I reactivate the screen and do the above mentioned settings?**
(In most cases, the screen of the phone has to go black and be disabled by the proximity sensors because in 80% of the time I use the phone with its internal speaker.)
Incoming call screens.

So, for a few days I have been having problems with my microphone on video call or call with loudspeakers. I tried Whatsapp video call, Whatsapp voice call with loudspeaker, Zoom, and Google Meet and the problems are same: my voice cannot go through, while I can hear other people's voice.
I tried using mic checker app and both my microphones are fine. I also have tried recording video and audio and they both work just fine.
I also have checked the applications' permission and they do have permission to use my microphone.
Last time, I tried zoom meeting, and muted my **speaker**, and my voice went through. However, when I turn on my speaker again, my mic cannot pick up any sound.
Is there a way I can fix this so that my speaker and my mic can be on at the same time?

Every app that I download for android with the function of using android as an external microphone (For example, attaching the fone to pc using an AUX cable) produces an noise that is very loud, and I not even need to connect the phone, the app itself produces the noise. It's a weird, very loud noise. I've already disabled wifi and GSM to see if there was any interference, but it wasn't the case.
Is there any hack, app, or configuration to fix that? I can't find a solution anywhere.

**Issue**
The issue happens on my samsung Galaxy S3 model SGH-I747M.
The loud speaker doesn't work anymore unless I "hit" the back of my phone until it work again. But then I need to be VERY careful, because any touch to it can cause the speaker to stop working again. For instance, just putting the phone on a table can make it stop again.
Example :
I put some music to play without headphone. The music is playing in the app but there is no sound coming out. I hit my phone once and the sound start coming out then I put my phone on a desk and the sound stop coming out again even if the music is still playing in the app. I hit the phone on the desk a few times for the sound to come back. Since hitting the phone temporary fix the issue, I suspect the speaker connection is loose.
**Issue solving**
Playing music here was the easiest example, but alarm clock, phone ringning and every others apps that use the lound speaker does the same. Therefore, I suspect a physical problem. However, I don't know where the loose is.
[Here](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uVuehXeT5YQ) they show how to change the speaker on the phone.
Changing the speaker would solve the issue only if the loose is within the speaker part. If it's before that, then it's won't solve anything I guess.
**Question**
Is the loose within the speaker part or within the rest of my phone?
If you can't tell for sure, then what are the probability for the issue to be within the speaker part?
Any other advice are welcome.

My Samsung Galaxy SIII comes with a front-speaker and a back-loudspeaker. From some applications, such as the Phone app, it is possible to press a software button during a call to redirect the sound to the back-loudspeaker (so that more than one person can hear what the person on the other side of the phone call is saying).
However, I couldn't find the same functionality on the Skype app (or any other videoconferencing or other app).
I would like to know whether there is a system setting somewhere or custom application such that whatever app is running in the foreground, the sound it produces can be somehow redirected to the back-loudspeaker from some external software, so that this can work no matter what app (Phone or other) is running.
Thanks.
