After attempting to format my SD card as internal storage for Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5 LTE (SM-T805) using the preinstalled Files app on crDroid (Android 10), it is no longer recognized by my device. I believe it is now completely corrupt, as even Windows is unable to read it after attempting to use an SD card adapter. It's not even listed in the disk management program.
Please help as I was dependent on my SD card as I only have 16GB on this device.
Edit: after formatting it in twrp it shows up in my device however im still not able to format as internal as some java error comes like i said before...

16GB vs 32GB Speed - Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5
So I was going to buy the [Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5][1] in the 16GB version. It is expandable up to an additional 128GB through MicroSD so I'm not too worried about space. I will save all pictures and videos in the SD card, but didn't know if the native apps and OS will bog down the small hard drive and cause lag... So in summation my question is:
Will the 16GB version of the tablet work slower than the 32GB due to space?

I have a tablet (Samsung T805) and I have had a very annoying issue with it, since its very first day: every couple of restarts, happens that ALL widgets disappear from Home screens.
So I have tried different, several launchers, but the issue propagates also in them (tried Nova, Smart and Lawnchair), the best behaviour is in Go launcher Z, where the widgets boundaries are visible, and it is less painful to restore them.
In the others, they completely disappear!
This happens much often, usually every 3 resets/shutdowns.
I have tried several ways to avoid it, but no success!
It happened on Android OS 4, the very first one, up to 7, its actual LINEAGE version.
There are no memory full issues.
I do regularly a cache clean.
Here follows a screenshot of my Home screen:

Simple question, but I couldn t find the answer anywhere (all answers requires rooting on android marshmallow because ftp clients doesn t include the permission to write on the sdcard).
I have a huge file which is too large to be downloaded on internal storage. So it can only be downloaded on the sdcard directly.
It also seems no ternal apps have the permission to write to the sdcard so I cannot use command line tools directly.
As the file is huge, I also need to be able to pause and resume downloads.

I just got a new Samsung Galaxy Tab S3. I used Samsung Smart Switch and I have Google set to backup my data and restore it. But on all the apps that got automatically restored there was none of my data. I was looking at ADB and saw the backup option. So I was wondering if doing
adb backup -f ./samsung.bk -obb -all -nosystem
and then restoring the backup file to my new device would work or just brick it? My current device is a Samsung Galaxy Tab S. I used -nosystem
so it wouldn't overwrite the core system files.
Many thanks is advanced.

I have tried the same scanner with the same codes on a computer, a MI Phone & a Samsung Note -II Phone & it works there correctly.
Any Ideas ?

How I can reverse-tether my tablet using my phone’s mobile broadband with bluetooth DUN, without rooting?

I have a [phone](http://www.samsung.com/fr/consumer/mobile-phones/mobiles/bar/GT-B2100SRIXEF) which run java for the [J2ME](http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/embedded/javame/index.html) platform not android ones.
When I pair it with my laptop, I can use the [phone](http://www.samsung.com/fr/consumer/mobile-phones/mobiles/bar/GT-B2100SRIXEF) to connect internet using [mobile broadband](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mobile_broadband#GSM_family) connection *(I pick my provider in a list on the laptop to autocomplete the parameters)*.
However when I pair it on my Samsung Galaxy tab S, I don't have this option, even when there is no Wi-Fi access point.
There are lot of apps to convert you android phone into a server for this. But I own a tablet with android 5 *(only Wi-Fi and bluetooth connection)*, and I would like to use my classic mobile phone as access point over bluetooth. I know how to configure the phone since I already use it on my Linux laptop. But I don’t know how to use my tablet as a DUN client, and I couldn’t find an app on the play store for that.
For those who still don’t what is beeing asked here, here’s a [tutorial](https://wiki.debian.org/UseYourCellPhoneAsModem) I use for a non wizard tethering on Debian *(I couldn’t find a android equivalent)*.
So, how I can connect Samsung galaxy tab S 8.4 to internet over bluetooth with my mobile phone's connection?
# Update :
Here’s my provider parameters in my case :
**dial-up number value** : "*99#"
**APN value** : "Free"
**Authentication method** : Store
**Username value** : "Free"
**Password value** : "Free"
**DUN channel value** : "0"
**Connection method** : [GPRS](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/General_Packet_Radio_Service)
**PIN method** : Store
**PIN value** : null
**Provider proxy address value** : "212.27.40.225"
**Provider proxy port value** : "80"
But on most OS, *(for laptop, including old windows)* you just get a country selector, then you pick-up your mobile provider in a list and the connection parameters are filled up for you.
***Note***: As the device is still new I want to keep the long time warranty option.
BlueVPN+ seems to indirectly allow what I need without rooting, but the program is not free.

I was recently given this stunning tablet from my company I work for, in the hopes that it could be turned into an offline development platform. I have been looking at alternatives to gain this setup without the requirements of root.. Whilst there are options out there, I always find myself resorting back to the original trail of thought of being manually installing necessary packages to achieve a stunning development platform.
I come here today to ask the following question: *Is there any downsides to rooting the tab-S?*
As lets face it, unlocking the maximum potential for a tablet is a brilliant feeling. The unrestricted usages it provides & the removal of the touchwiz bloatware.
Now, I have done alot of research into the rooting process done on the tablet, it's fairly straight forward and can be acomplished with minimal effort with the use of the auto root tool available, or rooting with the odin tool.
But, the downsides are vaguely listed, most of which revolve around tripping KNOX.. Which in turn makes the use of Samsung pay useless, but on a tablet.. Is it really necessary? On a mobile, I can understand the slight inconvenience it can cause as with the S6 will support Samsung pay and what not.. But regarding the tablet.. What actually are the real reasons to why most people avoid rooting Samsung products?
In the past, I have rooted a selection of Sony mobiles and a few Lenovo tablets, without a problem as they all came with an extremely short list of downsides.. regarding Samsung though.. There are quite a few documented downsides for this process, which are not properly explained.

I'm using a Samsung Galaxy Tab S running Lollipop stock update (8.6 Wi-fi only).
I need to be able to visually reference what is being stored for the clipboard for a variety of reasons.
My Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus had an "advanced clipboard" (I think that's what it was called). It gave the user the ability to edit, delete or use several separate entries with multiple formats (.txt, .jpg). I found it too be the most useful of Samsung's bloatware!
Is there anyway or anything I could do or add to gain similar functionality?
I don't like not being able to access, edit, or delete the contents of the clipboard without turning cartwheels, metaphorically of course.
