The JBL Flip 7 is capable of playing audio over USB while connected to a phone over USB-C. I just don't know if it is possible to connect two to a hub in order to be able to do what I mentioned above.

Since starting to use USB-C headphones (my new phone has no audio jack), I have noticed this (to my ears) very annoying issue: during playback of any audio, the sound output will be cut during moments of (very) low volume in the audio stream. For example: listening to an audiobook, after every sentence, when the narrator pauses, you will hear a noticeable cut of all sound output, where normally there's always a little white noise in the background.
I guess it's an optimization of not sending any audio signal when there is nothing to be heard, but to me, these constant breaks in the background white noise are very annoying. As a reference: this did not happen when using the audio jack on my old phone. The background white noise was just always present during playback.
I tried to research this issue, but it seems to be almost impossible to set the right search terms or no one else is complaining about this, although I find the latter hard to believe since my partner experiences the same. Also, in the Android settings, I cannot find anything related to this.
Still, I hope there is a way to resolve this. Either by applying a certain (advanced) setting or maybe by using some other workaround trick. Any insight and/or help in this matter is much appreciated, thanks!
P.S. I assume this is standard Android behavior for USB-C headphones and not headphone-specific. Please enlighten me if I'm wrong.

Can the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 do video over USB-C to HDMI?
I called one of the companies that makes a USB-C hub with HDMI, and they said no. They said my phone does not support DisplayPort Alt Mode, but [the Samsung website](https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/mobile-devices/i-smashed-my-screen-and-cannot-use-the-touchscreen-is-there-any-way-to-access-my-data/) shows an adapter like that.
I talked to Samsung reps, and they gave me a wide array of answers. From "yes", to "no", to "yours was an earlier model and only the new 10s support it", then back to "yes and no". Even got "it depends on your monitor". So I was hoping someone here has a real answer
How can I display my Note 10 on a monitor or TV? My Note 10 screen is broken, so I can't make any changes on the phone.

I’m new to Android tablets having previously used Apple exclusively, and I could use some advice getting an external WD 2tb SSD to work.
My SSD was formatted as exFAT on a Windows device and filled with various MKV files of 10gb or higher. The drive is recognised perfectly fine by my iPad, but doesn’t show up at all on my S9.
I tried reformatting the SSD, and the empty drive now shows on the S9. However, as soon as I start putting MKV files on the drive again, it no longer shows up.
Can anyone advise what might be causing this?

I tried using the Ampere app and the values range from 1000 mA to 2600 mA while the Voltage revolves around 4.1V?
Is there an app that can help provide power input details? Are there Android APIs to provide such information? Is it fine for me to keep using that charger? I understand Galaxy S21 supports USB C with power delivery, so it should be able to select the optimum voltage to charge my device?
From an article , I was expecting my charger to provide a 15W output but voltage x measured current using the Ampere app doesn't seem consistent with that number (5W?). What am I missing? How does USB Type C power delivery work in this case?

I would like to use my *Samsung Galaxy S20* phone with my quality studio headphones for phone calls. Since the device does not have a 3.5 mm audio socket, I am using a USB-C to 3.5 mm dongle. The problem is that when the dongle is plugged in, the phone expects the audio recording to come from the headset's inline microphone, while disabling the built-in microphone.
Is there a way to set the phone to use the internal mic while using external headphones through the dongle?
I tried a couple of dongles and all have the same issue.
Update: Phone is Samsung Galaxy S20, Android version 11, not rooted.

but I haven't seen anything the likes for Android.
So the question is: can I flip the keys, so that the physical "up" key has the menaing of "Shift" and vice versa, in Android?
If it doesn't work natively, can you recomment an app that allows this?

I just recently lost my OnePlus Nord 2CE which had all my must-have features, dedicated dual SIM slots, SD card support, and a 3.5mm jack.
Now there are very few phones which have these 3 features, so I have accepted that the SD card can go, but as I use an EPOS wired headset which I find really important for long calls, I am wondering if I was to buy a phone with only USB-C, how I could use my wired headset or if there are USB-C versions that work.
I already own iFi Audio GO and Meizu HiFi Audio USB audio adapters for driving proper HiFi headphones. Will these support mic input?
This USB-C Logitech headset says "Functionality for mobile devices with USB-C depends on the device."
Any ideas?

This sounds so weird that I can't believe I am asking about this.
I have two exactly the same Redmi 11S (same in terms of purchase date and software installed). One of them has fallen a couple of times and has about 25% of the screen broken, though still fully usable. The second one has screen intact.
Each time I connect an USB-C cable in data transfer mode, the phone with broken screen gets wako:
1. I cannot start photo app from the lock screen, I cannot draw an unlock patters, I cannot even unlock it, screen is totally unresponsive.
2. When I unlock the screen _before_ attaching an USB-C cable and only _then_ I attach it, then screen gets wako; "something" is randomly changing launcher pages and touching icons, the phone lives on it's own.
When I connect the very same cable in charge mode (i.e. attach it to the wall socket charger instead to the PC) or connect the second Redmi 11S (using the same cable), the phone operates normally.
Tested on both Redmi 11S, on two different cables and three different USB ports on the same PC.
What am I missing. How can a broken screen and USB cable influence each other?

When I connect my phone to my Macbook, I see a popup saying I need to allow permissions on my phone (see screenshot).
So I click 'Allow' on my phone. Now the error popup still stays while the main window shows the content of my phone. But I am unable to click on the main window because the error popup is still open.
When I click OK on the error popup, both the error popup and the main window closes together and the error popup opens again with the 'Allow' confirmation on my phone. If I click 'Allow', it all repeats over.
See the GIF for what I'm talking about.
Model - Samsung Galaxy S10 Plus
Android version - 12
One UI version - 4.1
Mac OS version - 12.6
Android File Transfer - I think it's latest but can't find the version as the popup blocks me from checking the About menu.
Is this a bug with the Android File Transfer? Is there an another free app that I can use to transfer files?

With my note 9 I pressed the page up button and was able to see home screen. Samsung says the phone needs to confirm on the screen. Note 9 did not do that. Another rep say its a power issue again the time is correct. They don't have a correct answer for me. Another says older phones showed lock pattern on monitor and new ones don't.
I seen youtube videos of people accessing the lock screen on monitor. They just draw the pattern using mouse.
How do I move from the clock and lock icon to the lock pattern draw screen?

I purchased a USB C thumb drive to make transferring images off my phone (Samsung Galaxy S10) a little simpler. However, upon being prompted for the "Charging Connected Device Via USB" for "USB Settings", USB is controlled by "Connected Device" instead of "This Device". I still went into my developer options and changed the "Use USB For" default so I can "transfer files/Android Auto". However, I still can't successfully change "USB Controlled by".
It prompts me to "Restart Your Phone", stating "a USB storage device was removed unsafely. To prevent your phone from restarting unexpectedly, save unsaved data and restart now"... but it won't allow me to switch, and restarting has no effect.
This USB only does this when attached to my phone - my computer doesn't have the same issue. Formatting the USB had no effect, and I couldn't find any saved connection in my phone to delete to see if it would forget this setting.
I have tried looking into this issue and I can't find any help online.
How to reverse the USB controller so that the thumb drive is controlled by "This Device" instead?

How to force PD rather than proprietary USB-C charging?

My brand new S21 5G and my S10e don't work properly with Anker chargers.
This is partially Anker's fault and partially Samsung's.
Firstly Anker chargers such as the Nano II range use PowerIQ3 use banned proprietary charging modes that are unsupported by USB-C. This is instead of supporting USB-PD as they should be according to the spec. Their PowerIQ3 technology cycles between PD, QC 3.0/2.0, Samsung, and Apple modes in an attempt to fool older phones to work with it. This doesn't actually work.
Samsung also does something similar. My two phones negotiate PD first, but the phone decides to check the D+ and D- lines for a proprietary charging method, and that causes the Anker charger's cycling method to drop out of USB PD mode.
When the power brick and the phone implement multiple proprietary charging modes in addition to USB-PD everything goes wrong. Using a USB tester, you can see the charger negotiates USB-PD first and charges at full speed. However, after a few seconds, the phone decides to check the D+ and D- lines for a proprietary charging method, and that causes the Anker charger's cycling method to mess up.
Proprietary methods were disallowed in the USB-C spec for this very reason. If the Anker charger simply stuck with the spec and implement USB Type-C current, USB PD, and USB BC 1.2, you'd get consistent and correct behaviour all of the time and not have to wait hours for your phone to charge.
USB PD should always win but the way the complicated proprietary charging mode switching Anker have built into these chargers you end up losing out.
This combination stops USB-PD and drops down to a much slower mode which it can't get out of. The fast charging possible with Samsung's software changes is about 5x slower than it would be if USB-PD were implemented properly.
**Is there any way to prevent Samsung phones from falling back to slower protocols?
Is there any way to force Samsung phones to stay in USB-PD mode with USB-PD capable chargers?**
