How to decrypt old files that were encrypted using ES File explorer
I have old files that I encrypted using ES File explorer a few years back that I would like to decrypt. I know the password but ES File Explorer is no longer available on the app store. Is there another tool or work around that will enable me to decrypt these files? Thank you.

Full file names in ES File Explorer
In ES File Explorer, each folder has its name underneath it. But if the name is long, only a truncated version of it appears. How can I see the full name? Bonus question: is there a more general way of seeing full file names when only partial names are shown?

At home have an older Windows desktop with a TB of hard drive and I constantly send files to it over my home network from my Note 4 and have amassed quite the collection. This morning, I started to upload a lot of it to a remote FTP server using ES File Explorer on my Note 4. I can click on my Windows desktop then select a group of files, copy and paste them to the FTP server and I get a progress bar of the transfer from "smb://desktop/users/" to "ftp://ftp.myserver.net/" and my question is if the data literally moves like that? The Windows machine is connected to the cable modem on an Ethernet wire and my Note 4 is on the crowded wireless network.

With a Windows machine, I can connect with IP, user, and password to some Linux shares. With ES File Explorer Pro, I get strange "server not found" messages.
This is what I do:
1. Open ES File Explorer Pro
2. Search the LAN (the machine is listed)
3. Access the machine (I notice it's getting all the shares listed)
4. Entering a folder gives a permission error. So I add the folder to ES File Explorer server bookmarks and try to access it again, but I get a "server not found" error.
5. Then I edit the bookmark (and notice it's logging as an anonymous user) so I set the domain with the machine name, server adding
smb://ip/share/
to the address, user, and password. And still, I get "server not found".
All the other machines, some Linux and some Windows are accessing Just fine. Except for the Android devices with ES File Explorer Pro.
What am I missing?

Every few months, my internal storage begins to fill up.
I store everything I can to SD Card, but Android has a limited ability to do so. I'm running Oreo, unrooted.
The biggest dir by far is /storage/emulated/0/DCIM/.thumbnails/, which can stand around 3.1GB for some reason. I used ES File Explorer to delete it, then went to the Recycle Bin in the app and emptied it. The 3GB was not freed-up.
I've restarted my phone several times, looked around for residual files, could not find LOST.dir. I'm honestly at a loss. Where did it go?
How can I get the OS to free up this space?
What better way can I use to get rid of this stuff?

I'm running DerpFest 10-Official-RMX1921-20200407 (Android 10, April 5th 2020 patch) off of a Realme XT rooted with Magisk 20.4 in case it matters.

I've been a pretty satisfied user of ES Explorer. When I wanted to add my MEGA cloud account I took the bait and paid for the pro version.
Problem is, their Google Drive (as well as DropBox) interaction is outdated. Google doesn't allow its authentication page to be loaded in a webview of another app. Now I can't add Google Drive to the new app.
The pro version is not an update up the ad-supported; it's another app. I still have Google Drive set up in the ad-supported app. How can I transfer the settings and account info from the old to the new? I do have root access and I've come across a file with the account information. I copied it over but it still doesn't show.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have a GT-I9195 running Lollipop 5.1.1 (currently PAC-ROM) which in theory has 8GB of internal memory. However, I can't seem to track down what exactly has happened to all that space. With a paltry 100 or so apps (including system essentials) installed, the phone starts reporting it's out of space until I move apps to the external MicroSD card. The problem persisted even through the custom ROM installation and subsequent recent ROM update as well as a few factory resets/cache wipes/etc. It's been an issue for nearly 8 months now, and periodically I've trawled the Internet for suggestions and clues but without making any real progress.
It seems to me as if a large chunk of space on the phone's memory is simply inaccessible and unused. Is this possible? How can I delve deeper into what's going on?
I've included the output of a df command in terminal emulator below. I notice that there seem to be duplicates of the internal memory /storage/emulated/0 and /storage/emulated/legacy (though I think one is just an alias of the other), and that they are both the same reported size as /data.
Storage Analyser reports 541.93MB of that 5.3GB is used by accessible files and 3.59GB used by "android/inaccessible files". This adds up to the 4.1GB which df claims is in use, but I can't understand what that 3.59GB is when every app which can be put on the external SD card is already on it, and I thought that the /system partition contained the OS itself and was not included in /data?
I've tried to get ES File Explorer to do its SD card analyst trick on the /data folder but without success, so it's not easy to probe it and find out how big each subfolder is.
I'd really like to get to the bottom of this... can anyone offer a suggestion as to what to try next?
**Edit:** also of interest to me is that I do have more than a gigabyte of space on the internal storage (/storage/emulated/0), but this is apparently unavailable for installing apps on. It holds DCIM and other random storagey things, and naturally freeing up space here doesn't allow me to install any more apps on the phone memory.

**Edit2:** I finally did some digging in /data by manually selecting directories and querying them with ES File Explorer. Thankfully this didn't take too long before I found the main culprits:
data/media 1.45 GB
data/data 1.11 GB
data/dalvik-cache 1.17 GB
data/app 642.57 MB
data/user 1.11 GB (this appears to be a symlink of data/data)
Investigating data/media, I discovered a **1GB backup file created by ClockWordMod recovery**, presumably when I first flashed the ROM. Moving it to my SD card has apparently recovered that space in /data, which is fab. **This has, presumably, been the main source of my problem** - that is, assuming this space is actually available for installation of apps now (not easy to check with this ROM other than by installing apps until I run out of space).
As for the other big directories: I can believe that data/app is the total size of my installed apps, and I guess there's no getting around the dalvik cache being so huge. I'd really love to dig into data/data and see what exactly is using so much space in there, but in ES File Explorer I have to manually select each folder and click properties to find out how big a directory is - a task for another time as I've been unable to find a utility to do this for me.

| | ├── com.amazon.venezia

If I navigate to /Android/data/
on the SD card you can see the first three directories are:
1. com.amazon.mShop.android.shopping
2. com.amazon.venezia
3. com.android.providers.media
If I search for the string venezia
results are only returned for my internal storage, but nothing for the SD card.
Is there a problem with Android search, or is my search procedure wrong? I've tried on multiple Play store file explorers, all with the same result (inability to search SD card).

**Edit -** The following Termux commands provide the following output:
$ find /sdcard/ -iname '*venezia*'
/sdcard/Android/data/com.amazon.venezia
$ ls /sdcard/Android/data/com.amazon.venezia
