I tried dialing *#9900# as suggested in Low on Space, "System data" huge! in order to delete the dumpstate/logcat but when I dial *#9900# it tells me it's an invalid MMI code. Note that my phone is not rooted. I can get to the hidden diagnostic menu using the international code shown on [Gadget Hacks](https://lg-g3.gadgethacks.com/how-to/unlock-hidden-menu-run-diagnostic-test-your-lg-g3-0156740/) , i.e. 3845#*855#, however I can't see any menu items that look like they might clear that system file. Any ideas?

This means my view constantly rotates and moves upward. This is because the inputs are registering -1.0. When I move the triggers toward the centre of movement, the view stabilises. Can the triggers be remapped?

**Update (20/10/2014)** After a routine update of installed apps everything seems to be working as expected. I suspect that updating the LG Keyboard app (which came with the phone) did the trick. **Original** I have a rooted European LG G3 32 GB on KitKat 4.4.2. Up until a day ago I could happily browse the internet using the Google Chrome app. However now I am able to do everything but typing using the keyboard. I can press on links, go into settings and use voice control to browse but I cannot type anything. When I press on the search bar, the keyboard shows up as usual but it is completely inresponsive. And if I keep on pressing the keyboard the app freezes. I had to press the back/home buttons over ten times to leave the app. I have tried clearing both cache and app data, force stopping the app, reboot, uninstall updates and reinstall updates but no joy. Next I tried Chrome Beta, but it's all the same. I have also tried the stock android browser and Dolphin, those two do work. So my issue seems to be concerning the Google browsers only. What could I do to fix this malfunctioning?

Regarding McAfee's killswitch, I'm using CyanogenMod ROM, and I believe it doesn't have McAfee as a preinstalled app. How to fix this issue? --- I am asking about third method so that I get some real thing to block this so called "kill switch" :(

So I suspect I'm not doing something right to su privileges.

I encounter this once. My phone was dead batt and I didn't do anything or remember anything that I deleted something in the settings before this happened. All I know is that I slept and my phone's locked so that I cannot do any harm to it. But according to this issue similar to mine: https://android.stackexchange.com/questions/183386/locked-out-of-secure-startup , they deleted secure files in the settings, that's why it happened. The screen on secure set up is nothing but a white screen and a text field that asks your password and even though how many times you attempt it's stuck on loop attempt 29/30. Anyway, I told you I didn't do anything but this happens to my LGM400. This is already fixed because I just shut it down and turn it on my phone again. That secure setup only happens once. I would like to say this because I wanna know what is going on with LG. And it's kind of bothering.

My LG G3 phone (phone is rooted; OS is Android Fulmics ) is recognised by my laptop when I plug it in. The laptop is running Ubuntu 18.04 and I can easily copy data from and to my phone. I have recently installed the Android Debug Bridge (ADB) (sudo apt-get install android-tools-adb). Then, I wanted to reach my device and typed adb devices. When functioning properly, it **should** return something like this : * daemon not running. starting it now on port 5037 * * daemon started successfully * List of devices attached 5200d6fd904b2200 device But when I tried it, it returned this: List of devices attached * daemon not running. starting it now on port 5037 * * daemon started successfully *   So, List of devices attached appeared **first** and no device was listed. When I type adb devices again, I get this: List of devices attached   I have also tried to use sudo adb devices instead of adb devices but the results were the same. When the ADB would work, I would try to use it for data recovery purposes as described here . Maybe the pull command can do what I want.

I am running Lollipop on the LG G3 and due to a loose connection on the audio jack google voice search gets activated everytime a slight movement of ANY attached cable. Now, I would like to deactivate google voice search completely. My phone is rooted and i am willing to raze any part of the file system to stop this annoying hellfire. It is annoying because I can be on a free-hands call and google voice search asks me over the speakers "In order to do a google voice search please unlock your phone". Additionally, the same physical problem results on the default music player starting to play music. Is there a wat to deactivate the wire control for the music player ?

I recently rooted my android LG g3 phone and started experiencing problems with the Google Play Store and was getting errors like 495 and such and have been unable to download any new apps or games. I then went a researched on how to fix this, and found several YouTube videos that suggested deleting all lines in the host file except for "127.0.0.1 local host." I did that but am still unable to download apps. I then researched and removed my Google account and then tried to resign in or whatever, but got errors there like "unable to reach Google server." I finally had to do a factory reset to get my Google account back on, but am still having the same errors in the play store. What should I do? My host file now reads: 127.0.0.1 localhost #127.22.3.134 android.clients.google.com talk.google.com (That last line starting with the hash tag was an idea from an article I read but didn't seem to help.) Thanks guys!! Davy

When I try to connect to the school WiFi, it comes up with a terms and conditions screen (like the ones you see at Starbucks or other free WiFis), but it says that I am trying to access a blocked website called hla2.safemovedm.com. I can bypass this by getting one of the teachers to log me into their administrative accounts, but I don't want to have to do this every time. Is there a fix for this?

USB debugging is enabled on the device. The device seems to be stuck in MTP. Furthermore, the device requests to install PC Programs, but nothing happens when I allow it. The device hasn't asked me to authorize my Mac for USB debugging, and I cannot find a way to get this prompt.

Here's the deal, folks. I've been having trouble with my LGG3. I initially had blue screen of death but I solved it by putting the motherboard in oven for 10 min.(Amazingly worked) Had to do it often over last 3 months because occasionally the LGG3 heats up & loses wi-fi when I use google maps. In my latest attempt to fix the wi-fi I put the motherboard in the oven again and I fixed the wi-fi, but now the touchscreen does not respond. I get the hardware key control mode message when I power off/power on. Is there anyway to fix this problem, so I can use the touchscreen again? If there is no solution, is there some way to retrieve all my data and information from the phone? Whenever I plug it into my computer the cell asks me to give my PC permission to access the phone, but because I can't use the touchscreen I can't give it permission.

I even upgraded my phone to Lollipop, but that didn't help either. Also, I tried reprogramming my voice back into my phone via "Google settings", but it won't pick up my voice either. So long story short the only way I can get it to pick up my voice is by clicking the microphone.
