Can you recommend a solution to normalize this bandwidth when any audio is streamed into any output channel? (any headphones or inbuilt audio speakers)
**Wavelet** seems to be a privacy-oriented third-party tool with good user documentation. But it seems a bit tricky to set it up on a multi-user system such as Graphene OS if you prefer not to use the command line on the mobile device. I also found two other candidates : **RootlessJamesDSP** and **ARISE Sound Systems**
Is there any sort of Equalizer that is built into the Operating System, how to find it? Or should it be a third-party app, and which one?

But, irritatingly, Google Podcast always plays the latest (newest) episodes. Even if it was already played (specifically, Google Podcast always plays the last few minutes of the latest previously listened to podcast).
This might be OK for news, but if you are trying to learn something, it may be all you can do from throwing your Android out the car window.

I am a user of OS X, and would like to sync my Android device with iTunes.
I still use an iPhone and have a bunch of existing podcasts, and sometimes I use desktop to listen to podcasts, so two-way synchronization of files as well as progress would be quite useful. By progress I refer to time as well as whether an episode was completed. There is no need to sync with iOS devices directly; syncing with desktop iTunes on OS X is perfectly fine.
Any app that I found so far that even has sync apparently can sync only with itself on Android and iOS, but not with iTunes; or else it can import audio files from iTunes, ignoring progress.

Maybe are they trying to avoid the saving of the files?

I have plugged my phone into my computer's USB port. What folder can I find my Google Podcast downloads in? My computer is showing a *lot* of folders with cryptic names :-(.
I am looking in my computer's file manager, "Nokia 6.1" -> "Internal shared storage". I do not have an SD card in my phone.
---
My computer runs GNOME. I have connected to the phone using USB (MTP) before, and it worked great. That was for some different files though :-).
Phone version:
* Device name: Nokia 6.1
* Model & Hardware: TA-1050
* Android version: 9
* Security patch level: 1 October 2019
* Kernel version: 4.4.153-perf+
* Build number: 00WW_3_54H_SP03
I bought the phone as new, and I have not rooted it.

With the "Google Podcasts" app, I have been downloading episodes of several podcasts that I listen to, but am months behind and the podcasts only leave a month's worth up.
I thought that downloading them to my phone would keep them around even after they expired from the Podcast's stream, but apparently it doesn't, because the old, unlistened to, downloaded ones are not there.
What the heck? How do I keep old episodes until I am ready to listen to them?

I am a back-office system developer, and am struggling to deal with a problem.
I am addicted to podcasts (in fact I use the Podcast Addict app ), but I am interested in all kinds of subjects and there are a lot of podcasters to provide me a bunch of options. This addiction means that I have more podcasts to listen to than hours in a week. So I listen with accelerated audio.
**But**, podcast addicted implementation of accelerated audio is very power hungry, and I am wondering if it should.
My goal is to get any information about CPU/GPU usage of every podcast player when playing in accelerated playback.
Any advice? Tools? Procedures? Anyone has made this analysis before?

Sync iTunes U and Android?
I am a huge fan of the podcasts on iTunes, as well as the iTunes U material. However, I'm having a terrible time finding a slick system to sync the two. Doubleplay never really worked all that great for me. Any other good solutions anyone has used? I have a Droid Incredible running 2.2.

When I play a podcasts on my android phone using pocket cast 4.2.3 I notice that the details are scrobbled to last.fm. It is happening because I have set my last.fm app to scrobble. I want to scrobble every music playing app I have but I do not really view pocket cast as a music app. How can I stop scrobbling from pocket cast?
In last.fm scrobble settings I see that there are various categories of apps to scrobble from
- Scrobble Android Player: Scrobble the built-in Android music player
- SLS support: Scrobble apps that use the simple Last.fm scrobbler API
- ScrobbleDroid support: Scrobble apps that use the ScrobbleDroid API
Where does Pocket Cast fit into those options?

On an Android device, what options do I have for following podcasts via web syndication our other forms of syndication? How do I set up syndication of podcasts on an Android device, and, since the files are downloaded automatically to my device, what options do I have to control download versus streaming, and are old episodes of the podcasts automatically deleted? Otherwise, do I need to have much blank space on the device to user it? I side it depends on the length of the podcasts.
Thank you for your support.

I am looking for a way to automatically download new Youtube videos from all my subscriptions or from a certain user/channel to my Android phone for later offline viewing. Some sort of video podcast functionality.
I tried a lot of different methods which I read on the web, but none of them seem to work. I first looked in the official Youtube app. You can see your subscriptions there, but no possibility to automatically download new videos for offline viewing. Next step was using a podcast app (AntennaPod) and a url generated from Youtube api:
http://gdata.youtube.com/feeds/base/users/simonscat/uploads?alt=rss&orderby=published
This did not work, it just downloaded a small summary and a link to the video. After trying this, I used the YTPodcaster website to generate a podcast link:
http://ytpodcaster.com/api/index.php/rss?youtubeid=simonscat&quality=22
Sadly, also this did not work. Latest episodes seemed to be downloading, but when I opened one it just returned "null".
I tried other podcast apps (BeyondPod, Podcast Addict, DoggCatcher) but none of them seem to be able to automatically download Youtube videos.
Does anybody know a solution for this?

When I use the Google Reader app for audio podcasts -- e.g. linked MP3 files -- it pops up a simple player overlay to play the file (shown in screenshot). Is there a way for me to choose an installed audio player to use in place of the one used by the Google Reader app as the default player for the app? Ideally I'd like the app to pop up an intent that asks me for the audio player to use, like many apps pass off responsibility for a well defined purpose.
The Google Reader app is here .
