Is it possible to add vertical functionality to the 3-finger swipe on macOS?

MBP 15" user - 95% of my input to it is via the trackpad, I LOVE the 3-finger swipe navigation.
Saying "Swipe left/right/up/down" implies the end result of the movement, not the actual direction of my fingers. Swiping right means go to the window right of my current window. Swiping down displays all your windows/desktop background. Swiping up does nothing.
Really all I want, is to be able to **swipe up to Spotify from any window** or have a second set of windows on a level above the current, 1-dimensional horizontal window set.
Made a simple mockup as to what I am describing.
Is there already an app that allows things to work in this manner?

Operating systems have "accidental click protection" to prevent touchpad taps from counting while typing. But this M1 suffers from a lot more accidental taps registering.
*I have used maybe every portable Apple has made since the black-and-white PowerBooks. This is the first time I've seen this problem to this degree.*
Is this a common/known issue with M1 portables?

I'm interested in a 4K portable monitor which is 14" in size.
I believe it is mainly intended for use with iOS/Android, however it does say it supports Mac/Win.
The concern I have is that even at the familiar maximum 2x scaling, which we call Retina resolution, 14" at "looks like" 1920x1080 will result in very small UI.
To compound the problem in this case, this display is touch, too; which is likely to make finger accuracy an issue.
Does or can macOS support greater than 2x Retina? How are the supported resolutions for a display defined? Is this something Apple does, or does the manufacturer do it; can a user adjust it without going too low level?

Chrome supports two-finger swipes left/right in order to browse back/forward in the browser history. Unfortunately, Chrome handles this differently to other macOS applications, and it's far too easy to accidentally trigger it while you're in the middle of a long down/up scroll, which needless to say occurs often.
I generally like the gesture, and things like Preview, Safari, and other application have implemented it much better, where you cannot blindly navigate back/forward so long as you have begun to scroll up/down.
How do I selectively disable two-finger back/forward navigation in Chrome?

here is what the layout looks like currently.....
Ii used to be able to put cursor in the image using builtin trackpad and then pinch in/out to resize. Now when I do that, the image does not move.

The default setting is anti-natural to me.
Whether if it is with an external app (paid, free or open source), some code or whatever other solution.

Before and after updating to macOS Sierra 10.12.5 did not solve problem.
## Config / Specs:
- MacBook Pro
- Dell monitor
- iPad using Duet app
## Previous functionality
I could expand fullscreen any app/program in Mac (the green button top right) and use 3 fingers on the trackpad to toggle between 'screens' on that individual physical screen.
## Current bug
When I fullscreen an app on one display and swipe with three fingers, swiping controls all 3 physical displays. The display in question swipes to the app, but the other two displays also swipe to the right showing blank black or white backgrounds and are mouseover-able.
## Desired functionality -- the Previous Functionality
Swiping on a screen only controls that display.

I recently upgraded my 2018 MacBook Pro running Mojave to a 2023 MacBook Pro running Ventura. Since the upgrade, I've noticed some differences in behavior that weren't present before.
My primary browser is Google Chrome, and I typically have it running full-screen across two Spaces (essentially, this means I have two separate windows of Chrome tabs, each maximized on its own Space). I frequently use a three-finger swipe to navigate between these Spaces.
Here's the issue: After I swipe from one Space to another (transitioning from one Chrome window to the next), and then press ⌘ + T to open a new tab, the new tab opens in the Chrome window located in the previous Space, not the current one. This seems to happen because the Chrome window in the new Space isn't automatically focused until I manually click on it.
Is this behavior expected in Ventura? If not, how can I ensure that pressing ⌘ + T always opens a new tab in the Chrome window of the currently active Space?

How do I create a keyboard combination that can be held down to treat the successive mouse moves as if they were three-finger-on-trackpad movements?
So I can hold down e.g. cmd and shift, then move the mouse, and it would be as if I were performing that movement with three fingers, to perform things like
- change spaces
- expose mission control
- show application windows
There are of course already individual keyboard shortcuts for all of the three-finger trackpad actions.
However, these are (often) two-handed keyboard shortcuts.
I would like to configure a left-hand only "modifier", which will then treat my next mouse move as if it were performed with three fingers.

Our AppleTV 4K remote control is getting clunkier, getting slower to react to touches and swipes on the remote control.
When choosing an app, I make a swipe-swipe-swipe to select the third adjacent app icon. And I wait. Sometimes the wait is half a second, sometimes more.
Inside apps, selecting a program from a list of icons is similarly slow. YouTube may be the worst, but other apps show slowness too. The selection of an app might take around a second. This is aggravating, as the user thinks the pad did not register any swipe at all. So you swipe again, and suddenly the selection ring jumps *two* icons over rather than the intended *one* icon.
Oddly, using the remote while plugged into a USB charger seems to restore some speed, at least for a while. But of course using a corded remote is annoying. And a weak battery charge is not the issue, as the slowness occurs whether the battery level is at 46, 60, or 100% charge.
We routinely restart the AppleTV as a desperate attempt to avoid this problem. Each user does a restart before and after usage, and often does it while using the AppleTV. This seems to help for a short while.
The AppleTV has the latest version of tvOS, with regular updates occurring.
When originally purchased, the remote control was instantaneous.
During this Covid season, we have been wiping the remote control routinely with 70% isopropyl alcohol as recommended by Apple. This definitely makes the remote control go crazy with wrong inputs, but a restart of the AppleTV always straightens it out.
➥ Is there anything to be done about the AppleTV remote getting slower to react to touch?

Force click without an apple trackpad?

When I touch my iPhone, iPad, or Macbook with the glove, somehow works if I push it with pressure to touch but it's true that it's not easy to touch.
However, when I touch my Airpods Pro 2nd generation to volume up and down with my glove, it works well.
Maybe its touch sensor is more sensitive than other devices.
Will the Magic Mouse work as well as the AirPods do?

I'm using Sidecar with iPad Pro 11 and MacBook Pro 15 2016.
I noticed, that I could use Apple Pencil to interact with the interface elements on the second screen, e.g. open a new empty tab in Safari.
However, in order to scroll the page, I have to use the "two finger drag" gesture. This is inconvenient and I'd like to use "single finger tap" gesture to interact with elements on the screen, so that it would simulate a mouse click. How can I achieve this result?
The problem is that the switching between having a pencil on the screen or the two fingers is inconvenient and I'd like to either do both actions using gestures or with a pencil.

How to do this?
Use case:
I am running parallels and am using a software that works with 2 finger scrolling. But it does not work with the mousewheel. Shift + mousewheel should be the same input as Left/Right 2 finger trackpad scrolling.
So, I want to map shift + mousewheel or a keyboard shortcut to 2 finger trackpad scrolling.

I finally updated to Catalina, and it doesn't seem that any Catalyst apps I've tested support three-finger swipe gestures - they seem to expect them to be done with two fingers regardless of this setting:
It's odd because every other Mac app seems to respect this setting, so two-finger swipes side-to-side scroll horizontally, and only three finger gestures will go back/forward. Alas, it seems catalyst apps completely ignore this. Does anyone know whether it's possible for developers to support three-finger gestures in their Catalyst apps, or is this just something that's broken at a framework level?
