I would like to add a widget to my home screen. According to the official help page , I should touch and hold an empty space, and then tap "Widgets". However when I touch and hold an empty space on the home screen, there isn't any "Widgets" button, all I see is "Home settings" and "Wallpapers". However, I found a screenshot on internet where that button is clearly visible, the problem isn't that I'm looking in the wrong place. My phone | Screenshot of someone else's phone I found on internet ---------|-------------------------------- | So it seems like this "Widgets" buttons exists on other phones, but it's disabled on my phone for some reason. I tried googling for why this button could be disabled, but I couldn't find anything related to my problem. I also tried clicking on "Home settings" to see if there was anything related to widgets in there, but there wasn't. I also tried opening the settings app and searching for "widgets" in the search bar, but it didn't give any results. In case it matters, I'm using a Motorola Moto E6i. Why is that "Widgets" button disabled and how do I enable it?

Install app widgets on Android Go?
I have already used this website to determine that I cannot put widgets on my home screen because of the version of Android Go I have installed. What version or launching app in general would be the best option all around and of course would allow me to have widgets.

For some reason, it pocket dials the number which is shown as "Emergency Number" > Image This is not something I stored, but it came with the phone. It's not editable. Or deletable. It's also not part of the "Emergency Information" stored in "Settings -> About Phone". That is blank in my case Image --- So I want to disable/delete/edit the "Emergency Call" number. Is there a way to do this? I know about Call Confirm apps, but I don't want to use it because that would enable "Confirm" for every number - which I don't want. I don't pocket-dial any number except this one. And it happens 5 times a day.

I have an Itel A56 running Android 9 (Go edition) and I decided to install an auto clicker app to help automate some things. I finished downloading the app and it asks me to enable accessibility and I do, but when I go back to the app, it tells me that I have to enable accessibility. I go back to settings and the accessibility is still on for the app. I thought maybe it was a mistake or something, so I put it off and on again, but the app still tells me I need to enable accessibility. I tried putting it off and on many times, and it still wouldn't work. It's as if the app doesn't know its accessibility is enabled. What is happening and how to fix it?

I have a Samsung Galaxy A01 Core (SM-A013M) with Android 10 GO. When I tap on "disable battery optimization" for certain apps, it doesn't really do anything, and there's no button to disable the whole thing. When I first had the prompt to enable it, I tapped "deny" and it just didn't care. Optimization is turned on for EVERY SINGLE APP except for ones that aren't compatible with it. This is quite annoying because I want widgets and I get notifications of certain messaging apps like 40 mins later if it even wants to get notifications. Maybe it's that Android GO that doesn't let me modify that stuff, but on the manual, it says that I can just disable it. I also wonder if there's any way of making an app "unable to be optimized" or exempted by modifying something on the system (having the app as active on developer settings does nothing really) I'll link a vid of what I'm trying to do. https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/962183578312122378/1136452250437431326/2023-08-02_21-09-33.mp4

I cannot found the way to do it in Android Go, i'm using a Nokia 2.3 with Android 11, the default camera app has no picture settings so I cannot lower the resolution, and so far I cannot set OpenCamera as my app camera then I'm stuck in high resolution photos but I need only minimal resolution for my app to use. Any ideas?

I have a Tecno phone with Android 8.1.0 Go. YouTube Go is my system app, however, I grew tired of using it because of its limited features and decided to install the YouTube app. But that's when the trouble started. The app downloads until 100% and then shows that it is installing and then nothing, nothing at all back to square one, and no error is shown. I have enough space, I have cleared data and cache for Play Store, restarted the phone, even tried APKs but still, nothing worked. What could be the issue? The only advice I have received so far is to root the phone. What should I do? Other apps download and install just fine.

This is a picture of my phone showing that when I press my home screen, there is no widget button and just settings and wallpaper. Image I looked it up on Google and nothing on there helped me. I see that other phones have a widget button and I do not. This is another phone showing that I have done everything right but still can not find it. Image I was concerned and I don't know if it's common and if all phones are supposed to have it or if some phones are supposed to not have it. I was trying to look for ways to get my widget button and I cannot find one. I'm hoping that someone can answer my question and help me.

Poor audio quality after one second of playback on Nokia 1.4

I've found a gateway to a possible solution: I've now installed VLC Media Player, which allowed me to change the audio output from **AudioTrack** to **OpenSL ES** (which I presume are some kind of codecs or audio libraries). With OpenSL ES the issue is now solved. Now the question becomes: Is it possible to select OpenSL ES system-wide as the audio output system? Or is OpenSL ES perhaps only available in VLC, because they've embedded it in their app? ---- Original problem: I recently bought a Nokia 1.4 32 GB phone, with Android Go (which I updated to version 11). Today I wanted to listen to music for the first time. I plugged my headphones into the headphone jack, but the audio coming from the headphone jack is just terrible: As I start to play a song, for the first second the audio sounds rich and full as it's supposed to sound, but immediately after that the sound loses its richness and continues to sound flat, flaky and tinny. It's almost as if some kind of automatic volume limiting is applied, but done in a very poor fashion. Now, I have no expertise in audio, but my intuition leads me to believe that this more likely points to a software rather than a hardware issue. Or am I mistaken here? Could hardware audio components (maybe a hardware codec?) cause such issues as well? I've tried three different music players (YouTube Music, Pulsar and Musicolet), each with and without turning on an equalizer, but the same thing happens every time. I've also tried to disable MusicFX, but that doesn't appear to do anything. My headphones are cheap Sony earbuds, but I have no issues with the audio coming from my previous Android phone (LG 3G S), nor from my PC or laptop. I don't have a Bluetooth or other type of headphone, so I am unable to make a comparison. What could be the cause of this issue and is there anything I can try to mitigate this issue? Perhaps install another or update existing software audio codec? Or am I hard-pressed to solve such an issue with an Android phone (of this caliber)?

This is Nokia C01 Plus running Android version 11 (as per what's shown in About Phone). Quick Settings (swipe down icons) - when you swipe down from the top of the screen, you get these icons which allow you to toggle several settings (WiFi, Airplane Mode, Mobile Data, Flashlight, Bluetooth, Hotspot, Data Saver, Battery Saver, etc). On all Android phones I have used, there are multiple rows of these icons visible when you swipe down. But on this phone, I can just have 1 row with 3 icons - most icons are available when I try to edit the swipe-down icons list, but I can only have 3 in total available at all times.
