How to use external webcamera in video call?

I connected an external webcam to my Android phone, and it works well with apps like "USB Camera." However, I'm having trouble finding a video call app that supports external webcams.
I noticed that bjoster had a similar issue in a thread about 5 years ago, but since it's been a while, I decided to create a new thread. You can check out the previous discussion here: https://android.stackexchange.com/questions/207672/how-to-use-external-otg-webcam-for-video-calls-conference-talks
Has anyone managed to get it to work? If so, which app did you use?
I've already tried the following apps without success:
Teams
Skype
WhatsApp
Messenger
Google Meet
Zoom
I also attempted Webex, but it seems that only the old "Webex Meet" (or Meeting) app supports an external webcam. Unfortunately, I can't create a new meeting in the old app since I'm on the "new" Webex plan. Additionally, I can only get it to work using my webcam at work, not the one at home that I would prefer to use. The new Webex app lacks the external webcam feature.
Another potential solution could be using an app like "USB Camera" and sharing my phone screen in a video calling app. However, it's a bit complicated, unreliable, and, most importantly, there's a noticeable lag.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

**Making Skype calls through Amazon Fire TV Stick**
I have a Samsung Smart TV which does not use Android; I thought all smart TVs were Android and the return date had passed. To get around this, what I propose is to use an Amazon Fire TV Stick. Amazon Fire TV Stick has a power USB port which I link to something [like this](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=96jycuEMm2k) where a USB hub could be used to add a camera and microphone.
I was wondering if this system would work to make video calls with Skype on Fire TV Stick.
I understand that even if my TV was an Android TV, Skype has discontinued its services on smart TVs. However, I really want to know if this system would work because then I could also use it on other conferencing software like Zoom.

Do any of these applications have a background removal feature (= only shows the human face/upper body that appears on the video)? I tried DroidCam but it doesn't seem to have this feature.

> I want to make a video call (like Skype, Skype fo Business, Jitsi ... whatever) using a (external) webcam.
Thats it. My phones (I have a few here, all different vendors from Samsung to 3chintsa) all have two cameras (front/back), which are working fine. I can call (video call), switch cams, conference call my cats - everything is perfect.
Additionally I have an external cam, which also works fine by itself. I can use "IP Webcam" apps, take fotos, make videos, use it as remote cam ... works flawless. Except one thing.
I want (reads: need to) use this camera as a ... camera. Within video calls (app doesn't matter, everything would be fine). But almost no app lets me change or chose the camera, except from switching front to back.
Why would I want to do that? We have a (surprisingly well done) "handsfree microscopic magnifier headset" that, so the idea, should be used as a "remote support assistent" helper, to guide people remotely fixing stuff. We (a non profit org) are trying to reduce our carbon footprint by no longer flying around the earth for visual diagnosis on our tech and/or guiding locals to fix things by themselves. Am I to far from reality here?
I couldn't find any app that lets me do that. What am I doing wrong?
I have tried:
- Skype
- Skype for business
- Jitsi (App)
- Duo
- IMO
- JusTalk
- KiK
- WebRTC
- Hubl
I am I missing something important here?

I don't mind paying for an app, but am not too keen on monthly service bills. I want to be able to have video conferencing with her on Wi-Fi only. I imagine SIP would be the way to go.
So what is the best app out there for Android right now for doing Wi-Fi video conferencing between a Mac and a Samsung Galaxy Tab, and which lets me do unlimited calling, not charged by the minute? I don't mind paying even up to $50 for the app on each system, just to not have to pay the monthly fees. I looked at the Tango app, but it said it only installed on iPhone and Android. I didn't see a Mac or PC version for it.

I have installed an app called "SCR Pro", it allows to record android screen as video with internal sound, or microphone, or mute.
With youtube as example, it can record video with internal sound and without microphone (exterior sounds) WITHOUT problems.
But with Paltalk or Join.me, when it begins to record, it fails to record the internal sound, it obligates me to continue recording as mute or it stopps.
It says "Only one app can use microphone
at a time. This is an Android
system limitation. Close other app
using the microphone (e.g. Google
Now or Skype) or continue
recording without audio".
I have Android 4.4.4 rooted, I tried to deactivate "Ok Google" service, and I have no Skype App in device, but it still not recording internal sound ONLY with Paltalk or Join.me.
How to bypass this restriction on microphone use in Android?
Thanks for any help!

I need to find a procedure to record well well video which is about recording video conferences from another screen.
The length of the session is about 0.5 - 1 hour.
The size of my memory card is 8 Gb, but I do not know if it is possible to record there with my Samsung Galaxy S4.
I need to record sound and some quality of the video. It is enough that I can see some of the video like boundaries at least; precise accuracy not needed.
How can you loop-record videos well in basic Samsung smart-phones?
