I have a rooted OnePlus 2 running LineageOS 14 latest.
How can I enable the Do Not Disturb feature for just my personal SIM card, without also enabling it for my work SIM card? Specifically, I'd like to be able to have my personal SIM on Priority mode, if possible, which allows starred/favourited contacts to still ring.
I plan to upgrade to LineageOS 15 soon, but I can do this right away if it is a prerequisite.

Can't connect to "Secured Network" via WiFi. Get stuck at a Lock screen

- OS: OxygenOS version 2.2.0
- Android version: 5.1.1
- Phone Model: ONE 2005 [OnePlus 2] (Build number: One A2005_14_151211)
When I connect to a Secured Wifi network that requires that I "Accept" some sort of agreement, normally I would click on "Sign into Wi-Fi Network", which pops up on my status screen and then I would "Accept" the agreement.
Now when I click on "Sign into Wi-Fi Network", all I see is a screen with a big circle around a lock. I can't tap on anything on this screen, except exiting out. If I exit out, I am taken back to my home screen and not connected to the internet. All that happens is that "Sign into Wi-Fi Network" appears in my status screen again. If I click on it again, I go right back to the lock screen.
Upon further investigation, I saw Option Dots on the top right on that screen with the big lock on it. I tapped the Option Dots, which brought up a menu with the following 2 options:
1. "Do not use this network"
2. "Use this network as is"
I selected "*Use this network as is*"
After doing this, I am taken back to my home screen as before. This time, the "Sign into Wi-Fi Network" option is no longer on my status screen and I am still not connected to the internet when I tried to access my email, Facebook, etc.
Any insight would be much appreciated.

I tether my internet with my phone.
I connect with my laptop to it.
If I keep my VPN client (NordVPN) activet, internet does not work.
NordVPN support says to configure VPN in Settings > VPN.
However, I want to use many VPN servers so manually setting each there is not possible.
NordVPN frontend has a nice map where you can choose which VPN server to use.
Internet works with VPN in my phone but not in my laptop when it is using the tethered source.
**Differential condition**: NordVPN Android application does not keep VPN active all the time
- complication: Client laptop cannot get internet in USB tethering when VPN is active in the phone
I forwarded this thread (26.9.2016, 3.10.2016 and 4.10.2016) to the NordVPN support and stated a deep wish to get a manual about using NordVPN internet from phone with your Debian laptop.
Feel free to ask me more details about the test configuration if needed.
Questions of the tech support
1. *Does [Android NordVPN] disconnect when you are browsing or not launching at all?* It disconnects itself when browsing internet.
2. *Can you give more information about our application not keeping connection at all time. How often you are getting disconnect and on what event it disconnects ( i.e. when you lock your phone or when it fall in sleep for not using it).* It occurs daily. It occurs when I lock my phone.
Phone: Oneplus 2
Phone OS: 3.1 OxygenOS
Laptop: Asus Zenbook UX303UA
Laptop OS: Debian 8.5 64 bit
Laptop Linux kernel: 4.6 of backports
VPN client in Android: NordVPN (tried many locations)

My OnePlus2 (I think using OxygenOS) **displays start icons** (normal logo and fastboot, depending on how I boot it), however, afterwards the screen **_always_ remains black**, while the phone responds to key presses.
Booting in recovery mode starts up the phone too, but never displays anything.
I tried to clear the cache using
fastboot
(following the [fastboot-info](https://android.stackexchange.com/tags/fastboot/info) on here), but get this response:
$ fastboot erase cache
******** Did you mean to fastboot format this ext4 partition?
erasing 'cache'...
FAILED (remote: device is locked. Cannot erase)
finished. total time: 0.020s
When I tried to unlock, following the -help
suggestions, e.g.:
flashing unlock Unlocks the device. Allows flashing
any partition except
bootloader-related partitions.
But it doesn't work:
$ fastboot flashing unlock
...
FAILED (remote: unknown command)
finished. total time: 0.006s
And another command I read about seems disabled:
$ fastboot oem unlock
...
FAILED (remote: oem unlock is disabled)
finished. total time: 0.009s
Is there another way I can erase the cache using fastboot
or adb
? I hope clearing the cache might resolve the black screen issue on my phone.

How to login to resetted phone when verified password not accepted?

I reseted my Oneplus 2 phone with OO3.5 by *wipe cache and data* because I wanted to set up my business gmail in my phone, not my personal:
1. Wipe data and cache
2. Volume down + power > Format phone
3. Now, welcome screen where it does not accept my personal email account's password now
- Status in OO support: *unable to access or add on your Google account*
Both of the gmail accounts uses my personal phone number as the primary, and in some field my personal email address.
Now, the phone requires after *volume down + power* for 15-20 seconds - - to use the gmail account (personal gmail) which I used before in the phone (some protection mechanism).
However, it does not accept the password which I enter to my account, although I put the correct password (verified at Desktop).
I am trying to pass *FRP (Factory Reset Protection)* which requires you to login with a previously synced account on that device and you won't use the device.
I have a Desktop access to my Gmail where I can access it.
I have throubleshooted settings here but cannot find anything relevant there.
I also erased all data in the phone by those settings.
However, I am not sure if it is applied because I wiped the data and cache before that.
I know the threads but they do not help
- https://android.stackexchange.com/questions/93750/how-can-i-unlock-my-phone-i-locked-it-using-android-device-manager-but-it-clai
- https://android.stackexchange.com/questions/85759/android-lock-screen-wont-accept-password-from-android-device-manager
Things which I have tried to do with login unsuccessfully
- use 2-step password
- use app password for the task
- use my own password for the task
Error when entered correct password in Android (password verified in Desktop)
> The password is incorrect. Try again.
Troubleshooting in
fastboot
(volume-up + power) by following the guide here
--
The command adb devices
gave first time the device ID.
So I could do fastboot oem unlock
and fastboot reboot
.
Result: still does not accept my personal gmail account password.
Trying to get to recovery
---
Now in fastboot, adb devices
gives blank. I cannot get to adb device recovery
.
Troubleshooting proposals tested but failed
---
- Keyboard-button-bug (here ) fails because the bug has been removed in the keyboard layout.
- Other strategies presented in the thread One plus two Google lock frp do no work.
Troubleshooting with OO support
---
> May we know what happen prior to this issue, was your phone recently flashed? And also, what is your current OS version?
No. I upgraded it to OO 3.5 some time ago.
Prior to this issue, I just reseted the phone because I wanted to change my Gmail account and do reseting.
Phone: Oneplus 2
Android: OO3.5, Android 6
XDA thread post about the issue: here #11

I have a One Plus 2. After restarting my phone the following symptoms have occurred:
- No alerts/notification pop up on the screen for emails or anything
- I can no longer switch between apps using the right button. It just doesn't do anything, and I have to back all the way out of any individual app in order to make it work.
What I do know:
- the touch screen and all buttons work. For example pressing the right button causes it to vibrate
- No app has problems loading
As you can imagine this is amazingly frustrating. What could be wrong? Can I fix this without factory reset?
I am using Oxygen OS 3.6.1, model number A2005.

As I understand it I HAVE to use the original USB OTG adapter from OnePlus before I can make use of the OTG functionality on my OnePlus 2.
But what happens if I connect a USB OTG Y-cable (powered from a USB charger) to the original OnePlus 2 OTG adapter?
This is what I would like to achieve - I'm not sure if the cable is supposed to be used in this manner
**[EDIT_1]**
Normally you would just plug the OTG cable into your phone and then (hopefully) it would work - But with the OnePlus 2 phone you have to use OnePlus' original OTG adapter in order to make OTG work (That's what I have read anyway) - I'm just worried that connecting 2 OTG items (cable and adapter) might cause problems.
If I could just find a cable like the one pictured above that ISN'T an OTG cable, then I don't think there would be a problem.
[USB Micro-B] to [USB-A female] with a [USB-A male] for extra power.
Hopefully the above would alow me to attach almost any device to my phone and I wouldn't have to worry about the phones power being drained in no time.
I would also like to keep the amount of adapters, converters and cables to a minimum.
**[EDIT_2]**
Connecting the above USB OTG power cable and/or a regular USB (USB Micro-B to USB-A Female) cable to the OnePlus 2 adapter does nothing. The USB OTG Power cable DOES charge the phone though. I have now ordered two original OnePlus OTG cables from eBay...
Let's see how that plays out...
**[EDIT_3]**
One of the original OnePlus cables arrived today - It's supposed to be for the OnePlus 1, but I hoped it would work with the OnePlus 2 adapter.
Still no dice...
**[EDIT_4]**
Better late than never (sorry)...
None of the adapters that I have tried works. Maybe I received a FAKE OnePlus 2 adapter, I don't know.
I officially give up trying to make it work.
Does everything in this "adapter chain" have to support USB OTG ??

I'm having OnePlus 2 with latest OxygenOS 3.0 Beta. I live in UAE. Recently I started getting exclamation mark with connection icon, whether using mobile data or Wi-Fi. I suspected of issue with beta version. But when I went outside the country, I didn't face the same issue. When I came back I started getting the same issue again. This leads me to suspect it's a carrier related issue, not an issue with beta OS.
I tried resolution mentioned in below post already. They are not helpful.
[Exclamation Point Icon on the Cellular Data Icon + Impaired Data Connectivity - Nexus 5 on Android 5.1](https://www.reddit.com/r/Nexus5/comments/3202xq/exclamation_point_icon_on_the_cellular_data_icon/) [1]
Apparently my OnePlus 2 is not detecting internet connectivity, but allowing me to browse sites and use every services, which require internet connectivity. Could it be that OxygenOS using ping method to any particular server, which is somehow blocked by service provider? If that's the case is it possible to change this?

This is frustrating because I am using 6x6 net with a difficult pattern. It is challenging to pass the login.
Cases where I have seen that CM forgets the setting
1. Install any app of unknown sources etc Amazon underground
2. Leave the setting of unknown sources open
I managed to pass the code without the dots after 20 attempts. The phone had reseted the setting *Show pattern dots*.
Other changes in the phone
- I see only the dot pattern in the lock screen, nothing else; before, I saw Camera and Phone at the bottom bar in Fig. 1

State of my OnePlus2 phone after Tech2 support session, troubleshooted in the thread How to login to resetted phone when verified password not accepted?
I am thinking what to do before my second tech 2 support session is taking place.
The tech support did not manage to resolve the original case completely because time ended of the session.
- Phone starts. Welcome screen. It does not accept all inputs (something wrong in the system). Sometimes, it restarts itself during the welcome session and goes back to welcome. If it goes to the desktop view, it restarts itself in few minutes, and goes back to welcome.
I think this condition can be only for OO support but not sure.
Maybe, there is something which could be done, because now, access to the phone frontend.
